But this time it was a pleasant surprise. They are adhering to the covid protocols. At the entrance I saw a station with cleaning liquid and a cloth to clean the carts. But I didn't see a designated person doing it when I went. Inside, the store looked pretty clean. All the employees were wearing masks. They had glass/plastic shields at the check out counter. They also have markings for 6 ft distancing. The vegetables were fresh and everything was fully stocked. I am not sure if the veggies and fruits are organic. Will have to find that out. I will recommend to go on a weekday and at odd times. Cause otherwise it will be crowded.

However, there is one employee who seems to get testy as she seems to allow her moods to rule how she interacts with customers. She seems to be selective too, as I've seen her treat some customers badly and others well on the same day. She use to be nice with me until one day she accidently short changed me. When I brought it to her attention, she denied it. I smiled and said, "Well it's only a few cents anyway. If you find your register is over at the end of the day, you'll know where it came from." I had given her a quarter; she counted it as a nickel. It's very immature and unprofessional and petty to hold such a grudge, thus I couldn't give 5 stars. But I don't let that stop me from enjoying the good qualities of shopping locally. We are blessed to have a family run produce market in our neighborhood where most of the service providers take pride in their quality goods. They even have a few organic options.

They are pretty similar in price, if not cheaper than the big name stores, but their produce is always a better quality. The cashiers and staff are always friendly. Always get a receipt! They only do refunds if you have proof! The ambiance: It's a pretty good size store. They have produce, meats, fish and a good variety of dry goods. Throughout the rest of the day she kept talking about it. So, this past weekend I sampled it as well. WOW! I should have purchased a gallon it's so delicious. Need I say more? Okay... Dark leafy spinach, organic pine nuts, organic lemons, organic sweet basil & Italian herbs, fresh parmigiano-reggiano cheese swirled into creamy organic garbanzo beans. Sooooo... when we got home I dipped wheat thin sticks in it, YUM! My favorite salsa is the mango salsa and I have been drowning my chicken, along with salmon with this tasty stuff! The mango salsa consist of red onions, green peppers, silantro, organic lime juice, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and sea salt. I asked one of the workers about it and they came over to check the aisles with me just to make sure that I hadn't overlooked it - so they were helpful. It was a busy time, and it looked like they were busy restocking the shelves so there were people and boxes everywhere, or at least it felt that way. Even still, I was able to get in and out without much difficulty. The parking lot is a large, shared lot belonging to a strip shopping mall. The layout and selection seems to be that of a standard ALDI, so if you shop here, you pretty much know where to look for any of the things that you would normally purchase. They have both self-checkout and a cashier lane. Overall, it is okay.
