I subscribed to their crop share program and pick up a bag of FRESH produce every other week for myself and my daughter. If you have a larger family, you can schedule a weekly pickup. The St Paul location is the Sunrise Market near Minehaha. This is convenient to Mississippi Market -- so I pick up my share and other staples during the same trip. The most recent share included carrots, potatoes, squash, rutabaga, sprouts, lettuce and some tomato-basil soup. Subscribing to the share forces me to eat a variety of vegetables year round. I've rediscovered sprouts after nearly a decade. Summer and winter shares are available. The CSA offers pickup points throughout the Twin Cities and provides the ability to sign up online. It's worth visiting their website, though, and learning how they raise veggies and Fish year-round.

If I need any Asian grocery items, I usually just have my mom get them for me from a list that I would send her. I am very sensitive to smell and vomit very easily so I try to go in and out of Asian grocery stores as quickly as possible and especially on an empty stomach just in case I do vomit. The raw meat section smell is terrifying at every Asian market I wish it was sectioned far away from the entrance of deli foods. But it's not & they cut the raw meats in the open air (not enclosed or closed door separate room) & the smell lingers into the entire store at every Asian market & just makes me very ill. Luckily, the deli register line is only for the deli so I can just order deli foods and check out in the same line and then I'm out the door.

I was able to get a great sourdough round and some baguettes for dinner. My daughter loves these spicy cheddar rolls from one of the vendors (keep a look out for them). You cannot go wrong. It is in a central spot that makes this easy to get to, free parking and it is open fairly year round. As a tidbit, it is right next to my favorite coffee shop that makes a great Vietnamese coffee!!! You won't find pineapples or mangos at this market. It is a joy to support these hard working farmers and entrepreneurs. The market space itself is well maintained, clean and offers restrooms. There are no dogs allowed in this market. There is often live music and there are also vendors selling breakfast sandwiches, tacos, Asian eats and everything in between. Being in Lowertown, it's mostly paid street parking. This is a MUST visit!! Saturdays and Sundays only.

But honestly, the meats and everything are delicious. The variety that is offered it great and they even have a little liquor store next door if that's something you also have to grab. One of my favorite seasonings for EVERYTHING is Montreal Steak. Well this last time I went in they had Montreal Steak Seasoning brats and they were delicious.
