Nothing Is better than getting quality local meats at the same price, less, or close to other major grocery store chain meat prices. We got over 15lbs of meat for $60. Not to forget to mention, other people must think it's a good butcher too because the place was PACKED. THE ASTHETIC inside is very meat like and they have a butcher knife as the door handle to open. They sell every cut if meat you could think of. They also sell BBQ meats that they BBQ.

We got there around 11:45AM on a Sunday. It was pretty busy, and we waited about 10-15 minutes. You grab a little slip at the counter and fill out your order, the guy behind the counter did it for me on our visit. This is a straight up legit butcher shop with, lots of special cuts, seasoning, sauces, hot sides and tons of stuff in between. There is no seating inside and it's a bit of tight space. We got the Excalibear (bone in) which comes with pickles, onions and cream cheese, no modifications are allowed. Excalibear Sandwhich 4.5 Stars - this thing is huge and comes on a large soft French bread halve. The meat was really flavorful, tender, and not overly juicy/wet. And that fat, it was rendered down perfectly. I didn't get any real flavor from the cream cheese or onion, but the pickle was a nice break in the sweet BBQ sauce. I would have loved a little bit of heat in there. Pecan Butter Cheesecake - 3 Star - a good size slice with a chocolate graham(?) crust and topped with ribbons of pecan Carmel-esque cream. It's from an outside vendor so I don't think it's made in house. Very rich but not to sweet. We called later in the day to see if we could order over the phone, we couldn't and they can (and did) sell out already.

The best banh mi in the state! My goto spot for roast duck & bbq crispy pork ribs & pork belly…read more I can't be in an Asian grocery store long lol I only go here during the off peak times to avoid the long deli line. If I need any Asian grocery items, I usually just have my mom get them for me from a list that I would send her. I am very sensitive to smell and vomit very easily so I try to go in and out of Asian grocery stores as quickly as possible and especially on an empty stomach just in case I do vomit. The raw meat section smell is terrifying at every Asian market I wish it was sectioned far away from the entrance of deli foods. But it's not & they cut the raw meats in the open air (not enclosed or closed door separate room) & the smell lingers into the entire store at every Asian market & just makes me very ill. Luckily, the deli register line is only for the deli so I can just order deli foods and check out in the same line and then I'm out the door.

Again, so many things to try. The entrees I've tried haven't been my favorite items. I'd say, definitely try a banh mi or the roast duck. Service is not really something I take into consideration when reviewing Ha Tien as there's not a ton of interaction for me, most of the time. I get in, peruse the aisles and get out.

Lots of meat vendors, the pork chops we got were amazing. Also, many local honey vendors, flowers, as well as bread items. I cannot get over the bakery items. I was able to get a great sourdough round and some baguettes for dinner. My daughter loves these spicy cheddar rolls from one of the vendors (keep a look out for them). You cannot go wrong. It is in a central spot that makes this easy to get to, free parking and it is open fairly year round. As a tidbit, it is right next to my favorite coffee shop that makes a great Vietnamese coffee!!! PROS Free parking Lots of vendors, almost year round Great location Great people CONS Nothing, just go and enjoy the stroll

I have been to that one across the river, all I can say is they don't grow bananas in Minnesota. I have been visiting this place for decades, and I really love the way it is evolved well staying true to its roots. You need to have products that have been grown or made within a certain radius of Saint Paul. When I first started visiting, it was mainly growers, but as a farmers markets have expanded in the Twin Cities, some farmers have gone elsewhere. That means we are seeing more vendors of other types of food. People who forge mushrooms, people who make their own cheese. Bee keepers. The world's best pierogies. Tibetan dumplings. So many delights. It is bustling every Saturday and Sunday. It should be a weekly stop for everyone.

Whenever I go to Costco I always pass by it and get curious about it. Well I had a special dinner to prepare and wanted to make sure I went somewhere that would have the cut of meat I needed. It was very easy to access and parking was no issue as they have a parking lot. I walked in and was greeted and 2 gentleman helped me as I was going to order 4 pounds of brisket and then after telling them what I wanted to do they recommended a chuck roast and that was exactly correct! I definitely mixed up the meat I needed to get but they helped. The prices were fantastic and they had such an assortment of meats to get their selection looked great! I definitely will be coming here again as I love supporting local and quality was fantastic! I'll leave you guys with a video of the chuck roast as it came out so tender and almost falling apart! Great quality meat and great customer service!
