I don't know if it's because i'm brown, but I was watched like a hawk by the associates while older white guys were free to roam the store without harassment. I had two girls in close proximity to me at all times while I browsed. All items have a security tag on it so it doesn't make sense to be watched like that. I had two girls watching me as I returned from the fitting room and pulled out the pieces that I wanted. The women's fitting room is exposed to the public so husbands and male associates can directly see into the fitting room when you open the door and are in your underwear (asking for another size, or wanting a full-body view in a mirror). I had the pieces that i wanted in hand, but decided to get a different bottom. After spending $250 (I found the ONLY 3 sets in my D cup and Large size bottoms) I asked if i could look at the sun glasses at the register. The girls at the register said they'd keep my bag (that i just paid for) at the counter. I felt eyes on me and saw both girls at the counter staring at me while they checked out other people at the register. An older white guy was at the counter and the girl asked who helped him today he said "nobody." It was so creepy. I also paid full-price for frayed bikinis, and an over-reach of surveillance (even tho it's all tagged) just because they are the only shop in town with bikinis and i'm visiting. Just order cheaper sets online before your vacation here. Save yourself the humiliation and save on your budget. You could make some money if you want to document, and sue for racial profiling and harassment.

A staff member, Curren, was there and very helpful. He confirmed it looked like cosmetic issues only. He gave me advice to lookout for any water damage after surfing and blessed my path forward. The sale rack outside was 40% off so naturally before I walked in- I checked out the selection on sale. Everything was beautifully sorted and didn't have hardly any tacky items at all. I tried on a few items and checkout out their interior as well shortly after and was pleasantly delighted with their perfectly stylish items. I walked out with the blouse from the clearance rack which had a nice fabric and fit comfortably. I'd highly recommend this charming and quaint retail store while in the area. The store is moderately priced but the pieces sold here are gorgeous. It's well worth checking out. My shopping bag was even packaged with accent tissue paper which definitely makes a statement.

Blane is a great instructor - a local Who knows the area and conditions, and he's great with the kids. I think all the instructors at surf station are great - we had Rocky for a lesson back in early April, and I wished I had booked him a second day as well. (It's not easy hauling' kids around on beginner boards!) I highly recommend lessons at surf station.

Early morning staff is often late, their hours differ on weekdays but No sign posting hours, They do not post a sign when they are out of bait. Also the Bait quality typically suck. Shrimp Quickly dies off. They need a better system to refresh water & keep it cool. The other day I waited 45 minutes for them to open only to find out they were out of Bait ! I avoid them whenever I can Until they straighten out operational mgmt.

This place is set up right on the beach renting the same stuff as the resort but for half the price. We did surf lessons for our two sons with them and then later rented a surf board for an hour. The people were friendly and nice and the equipment was in great shape. Would definitely use them again if we come back.
