    Iced Chai Latte
    Raven Q.

Okay, so this review is about the cutest little coffee shop in Harlem: Built Coffee. My cousin frequents this place all the time to do her work or just get out of the house, and even though she's not a big coffee drinker, she has been raving about their chai for the longest. And listen... I am a chai queen, so when someone tells me a chai is worth trying, I'm going. She kept telling me, "You're going to love this chai." She orders hers with oat milk and extra cinnamon on top, so that's exactly what I got -- and when I tell you this was one of the best chai lattes I have ever had in my entire chai-drinking life? Silky. Smooth. Perfectly spiced. Just the right amount of warmth. Just... everything. Truly a great chai. The shop itself has such a good vibe. It's not huge, but the space is cozy in the best way. If you don't mind communal seating, it's perfect for settling in with your laptop or a book. They have outlets, the ambiance is chill, and it's one of those spots where you can really get work done while still feeling comfy. I haven't tried their pastries yet, but the atmosphere and that chai alone keep me coming back. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and that's something I really appreciate -- it makes the whole experience feel even better. Built Coffee has definitely become one of our go-to spots for getting out of the house, doing work, or just sipping on something warm and delicious. And again... get the chai. TRUST ME.

Bagel to cream cheese ratio- a good amount to allow each quarter cut to be its own delightful bite

This local coffee shop often becomes one of the most crowded because it actually has working space, local vibes, and a very decent selection of food and drink options for its relative size. Recently new vegan breakfast sandwich options were added for plant based proteins, and the nitro cold brew currently on tap is perfectly creamy as a black cold brew. The only downside is sometimes it's so popular you can't get a seat. Maybe it's a good sign that Manhattanville can open even more locations nearby!

16oz Iced Honey Lavender Latte (~$7)

Ordered: 16oz Iced Honey Lavender Latte (~$7) Aya's take: We were in Harlem and stumbled upon Manhattanville Coffee for an afternoon pick me up. Described as "energizing, sweet, and floral" on the menu, The Iced Honey Lavender Latte was exactly that. You can tell the barista knew what she was doing. I enjoyed how the honey and lavender complimented one another well, the lavender was noticeable in every sip, and was well balanced by the strong espresso. Very smooth, great to sip on, and gave me the caffeine kick I needed!

If you have read my previous reviews. You would realize that I am huge on customer service. The customer service is excellent here. The staff are always pleasant and informative. The decor is perfect layout of communal and single work areas. The open window designs allows the natural sunlight to enter throughout the entire space. What I love most is the natural air that enters from the retractable open windows. If your seeking a great neighborhood local space. For coffee Internet and great welcoming staff Manhattanville coffee is your place. Be sure to check out their variety of tasty foods and coffee varieties .

Nitro Cold Brew and cheddar chive biscuit

We stopped in here after viewing an apartment nearby, and look forward to becoming regulars. Our coffees were on point, and we got this cheddar chive biscuit that was just amazing. Great cozy vibe inside, and busy without being overcrowded.

Stopped here midday on a rainy afternoon to grab a latte and check out the space. It's pretty intimate but had a decent amount of seating and there were a lot of people working. Ordered a hot honey lavender latte and it was pretty solid. I got it light sweet and it was still pretty sweet so just something to keep in mind if you're someone that prefers less sweet drinks. The baristas were warm and welcoming. No pets only service animals are allowed.

This is one of the coziest NYC coffeeshops I've ever been in. They had a lot of cushy couches as well as large communal table in the middle. Although I was here on a Tuesday afternoon it was pretty crowded. So I imagine it'd be difficult to find seats on weekends. They had great music playing and it was perfect for getting work done. Bonus points for speedy WiFi, lots of outlets, and a bathroom! Their latte was wonderfully creamy, with no bitter aftertaste. I love this shop a lot and can't wait to come back to try more items!

Love this place. They're the only coffee shop that I've seen have hot cider on their menu. It's a cute venue. The staff are always super friendly.

    Amazing ambiance!

It looks like a promising place but it's just overpriced slop. Both the coffee and food were terrible.

The coffee is overpriced and the service is horrible. I would not recommend either of their Harlem locations I've tried both

Best bagels and coffee in Harlem. Great vibe, perfect to sit outside in the spring and summer.

The menu is fairly on the basic side - mainly drinks and pastries and there is some sandwiches. We decided to get the hot chocolate with whip cream (the whip cream is very needed). It was very rich, thick and delicious and not "too sweet." The whip cream really makes it more creamy and it does not really add to the sweetness which was good. We also got a side of Salame e Formaggio which I would recommend passing on because the cheese was kind of hard and not that great. The salami was good and honestly I'm not a fan of olives but my friend who liked it enjoyed them. Overall - a cute place to stop by for a hot chocolate and maybe a pastry!

We got a torta caprese (flourless chocolate cake), a sfogliatella, a hot chocolate, and a machiatto. The torta caprese was okay. The sfogliatella, which is supposed to be light and crisp, was clearly stale and chewy, although they warmed it up which was a helpful touch. The hot chocolate was reviewed on Instagram as being super rich and decadent, but it was made from a mix that smelled oddly similar to Swiss Miss. the machiatto was also quite watery. Come here for the vibes, but not for the food.
