Incredible local coffee spot in Harlem with friendly service and an artsy neighborhood ambiance that's as NYC as you can get. The pistachio loaf is one of the best things I've ever tasted, the oat milk lattes were great, and everything we tried over a couple of visits was good. Five stars for sure!

Great service. I love the food. I hop on the subway to come here. It is a great place to relax.

Red Kup is an amazing local bakery + coffee shop. The Moroccan spiced tea is absolutely amazing and I need to try more of their goodies like their pistachio ricotta cake that looked fantastic. Most importantly, the owner is a gem of a person. He is so nice and caring- I am glad that his business is thriving and rightfully so.

Beautiful lovely cafe with amazing hot beverages and high quality food. It seems to be a small business managed by its owners who are super friendly and offer great customer service. We stopped by to get some breakfast and were impressed with their hot chocolate and the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, that to our surprise was beautifully presented and came with a small side salad. Price are fair and portions generous. If you are in the area I would recommend supporting this lovely place. Inside there's a small seating area and imported products are available for purchase, cookies, coffee, and Italian pistachio syrup among many others. Definitely a hidden gem.

I was happy to find this lil shop. The pastries, coffee and juices are a great add to the neighborhood. They have almond croissants (or quassos, iykyk :-) ) I was so excited I got 2 on my 1st and 2nd visits. If I have one minor concerned, it'd be that they are baked slightly too long - see pic. They have the best flavor yet the hardened texture takes away from enjoyment. The decor is welcoming and fun. Offering space to enjoy your treats. I would def recommend trying the pasties and sitting down for a spell. The staff is helpful and polite ensuring you are satisfied with your order. I'll return for sure.

Salswee is a solid dessert shop in NYC that lived up to the hype for us!…read more I've been to Salswee twice now and thought it was consistent through both visits. I originally saw them on several IG and TT videos with desserts that resembled fruits. In terms of the store itself, the desserts are up front and to the right of you in display cases as you make your way to the cashier. The line is always pretty quick moving and easy to order and the pricing is also not too bad. The cafe itself is modern and includes some other options like pastries and coffee (unfortunately haven't tried those). I've ordered the banana, yuzu, and mango. The mango was delightful as well as the banana. Love how the desserts aren't overly sweet and layered as well as decorative. There are some tables/seats inside although it can get pretty busy. We ended up taking the desserts to go and eating it at the park across the street. Overall, think Salswee is well worth a look. Was one of our favorite dessert spots in town.

Yummmy!!! What a cute and unique dessert boutique! So many choices but what makes this place stand…read moreout are its adorable and colorful mousse delicacies. The inside was packed with folks! There was no place to sit down because of how busy it was but the staff kept the line moving quick enough. The place still seemed reasonably stocked with their desserts and treats, despite the late afternoon time that I arrived. I ordered 4 different treats to go and they're packed in small box individually. Unfortunately, they didn't quite stay intact during my trek back to my hotel and were tumbled around in the boxes. Nonetheless, the taste and flavors held up well and even after a few days in the fridge. The yuzu daisy has this vivid pastel yellow-pink base and adorable gelatinous yellow gem atop a white flower. The yuzu gives a subtle infusion of tart that is balanced out by the light delicate skin texture of the rest. Sitting atop a thin round rice crispy. I loved the red mushroom one which is a creamy pink mousse inside the cap. The stalk is a thin porcelain-white chocolate light base also filled with a rich cream. Adjacent are two cute little tree nuts. The orange and mango have such vivid colors and are aesthetically pleasing too. Just like the previous ones, their delicate chocolate exterior houses a rich tarty mousse-y filling. I think the mushroom has a better balance and variety of flavors. Although I don't eat mousse treats often, I look forward to trying some of the other ones in the future, like the blueberry, banana and cloud.
