My contractor had scheduled an 11AM appointment for the crane this morning. I saw the operator…read moredrive up at 10:27. He didn't come to our door and then drove away a few minutes later. I contacted my contractor. Even though the operator was over 30 minutes early (the appointment was confirmed for 11am this morning) the operator was angry that my contractor's guy wasn't here when he arrived (over a half hour early) and called my contractor, who reminded him the appointment was for 11. The operator replied "I'm here now." My contractor told him his guy was just around the corner. He did pull up as the operator left, which was about 10:35 or 10:40, nowhere near 11AM. We kept our appointment time. You arrived a half hour early. You shouldn't get mad and leave because no one is there. You could have come to our door. We would have checked the status. The person to help was here well before 11. Had you cooled your heels you would have been done before then. You've lost this customer, this job, received a bad rating and will not get good recommendations from me or my contractor.
