I called back and expressed that I wanted to get a water filter system installed and I wanted a water test that will cover everything that it will need for me to install a water filter test. I also expressed that I was not sure that test will cover that but I needed the one that includes everything such as iron and bacteria. Annette charged for a bacteria only service for $210. As a professional, Annette should have informed me that since I was unsure of what was all required for the test, that they will not be able to provide me a service until o can be sure of exactly what test I needed. Instead she decided move forward with a bacteria only test. Also, I had to follow up with the company for my test result. They did not send it to me. I also emailed them back about this disconnect between my request and the service I received and there was no response. I called them back and spoke to Annette. And her response was I should have asked another company to do the service and she can offer me another test for an additional cost. She did not acknowledge that fact that she should have detoured me from their services because neither her or I knew the service I needed. Instead she made the assumption that I needed bacteria only.

As a customer of more than 20 years, our family has trusted Micropure for their reliable service and equipment, transparent and competitive pricing, and quality of craftsmanship and support. Darren, the service manager and owner of the business, does an amazing job installing and maintaining our systems. Barbara also does a great job with scheduling and reminders for service. As a small business, they really do put the extra effort in connecting with their customers and dedicating attention to the details. Whether you're looking for a multilayered filtration system for purifying the water running through your house from the city's main water line or simply looking to install a reverse osmosis system to improve the taste and quality of your drinking water, Micropure is the one to call as they'll give you the best price for the equipment and installation as well as continue to support the quality of your product through their annual service visits. They stand by the reliability of their systems as any flaws or malfunctions are quickly addressed and taken care of at minimal and sometimes even free of cost. They're located up near the Sacramento region but they also service closer to the Bay Area (as far down as San Jose and as far up as San Ramon). Since getting our system, our appliances and plumbing have had little to no issues concerning hard water and calcification. I believe the water softening has contributed to the longevity of functioning faucets and pipes. Overall, you can expect quality products and service, reliability, and value with Micropure. If you or your family are considering getting the highest quality of water for your house and drinking fountains, give Micropure a call and they can come out to give estimates and suggestions on the systems best suited for your situation.

Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful! I suggest calling in the morning. It seems later in the afternoon the techs and sales people go out into the field. When I called a warehouse worker picked up. He tried his best and took a detailed message. I got a call from Randy the next day. We scheduled an assessment. He was willing to work with my schedule and come a bit later in the day. He was also upfront about what conditions he wouldn't be able to help me with (if it's already being serviced by someone else etc). Randy is very passionate about water! It's clear when you talk to him. He was able to easily figure out that blue tank is a carbon resin filter. He was able to talk me through my options and give a written estimated cost. Later on I received a call from the tech to schedule the service. I told him I'd need to be out of town in the afternoon and again he was able to work with me and told me he's arrive at the earlier side of the arrival window which worked out great! I called the day of to confirm the appointment. Randy picked up! I looked up the tech's schedule and helped confirm the tech should arrive on the earlier end of the window. The cost for a resin filter change was a bit under $400. But it's a great value when you consider they only need to be changed every 10 years! Randy also answered all my questions including signs for when it's time for maintenance. He also gave me a verbal quote for how much it would be to install an under the sink RO system. Super helpful people all around! Since the resin filter doesn't require much maintenance I won't be seeing them often but still highly recommend! Payment for services is by personal check or you can call the office to use a credit card. For the on-site assessment cash was also accepted.

Even though they are not longer selling Kinetico systems, they continued to help us when our Kinetico system ran into an issue. So I decided to call Blue Fountain and Randy was happy to help; the issue was promptly fixed. 5 stars from my experience from the time of purchase, and now, 5 more stars for their terrific customer support with their products over the years; they truly are a 10-star company.

Matt came to our home today to service our AC and was, as always, professional, courteous, and thorough. He carefully diagnosed the issue, identified that the capacitor was testing below specifications, replaced it, and made sure the system was operating properly. Matt has been to our home several times over the years, and he has always provided excellent service. He's knowledgeable, straightforward, and takes the time to explain what he finds without making us feel pressured. Matt is fantastic to work with and truly an asset to Huft. Trust is very important to us when choosing a company to work on our home, and Huft has earned that trust. Matt is a big reason why. We highly recommend Huft Heating & Air, and we specifically recommend asking for Matt Barnes. He's our go-to technician.

We let the employee know that we keep our home cold, 68 degrees. We were assured the unit could meet this. My mom used Huft with good results and she had a unit that had to no problem keeping her house cold. During install there were delays and we were without AC in July. At the end of one day they told us they may not be able to return the following day due to prior commitments. I let them know I found this unacceptable and they returned. During the project, one of the technicians hit our brand new car while it was parked across the street. We witnessed the accident. Huft paid for the repair but it was highly inconvenient and frustrating, our car didn't even have plates yet. After the project was complete, our home would not cool below 75 degrees. I kept letting them know I felt the unit was too small for our home and this wasn't what we agreed to. We were told using calculations the unit was the correct size and cooling to 75 was appropriate. I mentioned my mom has a bigger unit and a smaller home. This was the reply I received from the manager, Chris: "If I feel the system is too small for the home I will have a larger one installed, I told you we stand behind our work 100%, but I am not going to just arbitrarily replace it with a larger one just because you "think" it is too small because your mom has a larger one." He was rude, arrogant and unhelpful. Ultimately they replaced it with a larger unit and shocker, it cools to 68 degrees as promised but it was months of back and forth to get to that point. We are having insulation replaced this week and we found out Huft left all the old duct work in our attic. Disappointing. We do use their maintenance plan and have always liked the technicians but given the choice over again we would choose someone else for install given the rude behavior from management and our install experience.
