This guy was recommended to be by my general dentist, Dr. Thee. And I could not be happier. Even though I have a clicking jaw which she hasn't been able to fix... though it wasn't for a lack of trying on her part. The rest of the staff is very friendly as well. Dr. Anderson herself is very knowledgeable, and always takes the time to sit down and explain things to you. I couldn't possible give them a higher recommendation.

This place offers traditional braces and invisalign. Here's what you need to know: (1) The push to more expensive gold color braces. What I didn't like was the sales rep pushing me to go for gold (cringe) braces instead of the more subtle traditional silver braces. She would NOT take "no thank you" for an answer every time i said i would never want gold braces. If you or your child doesn't want gold braces blinding everyone, be prepared to be very firm and you may have to even drop the politeness to get them to listen. (2) Automatic $500 whitening i didn't ask for or need. You or your child may not need teeth whitening but it is automatically upcharged. Why? I didn't request teeth whitening services so why add that? (3) Invisalign must be used 20+ hours a day and there is no "night only" option like other competitors. Since the quote here was the same price for ugly gold color braces (still cringing) and invisalign, I would have gone for invisalign except I did my research and knew that other companies have options where you don't have to wear the brace 20+ hours AND they are HALF THE COST of invisalign. Why pay double the cost of invisalign when you can pay half and only wear braces at night??? Do your research people. Google "invisalign alternatives" and there are several competitors out there that costs less & gets faster results.

This practice offers 0 communication on where your child is in the treatment. How long they may have left. My son has been here since 2024 and there has been times he is wearing the same tray for months. I paid everything up front intentionally so that I could prepare for my next child's treatment but they never fail to just randomly throw additional charges in. My coverage is active and I have been in the same plan for over four years yet was told my coverage is inactive and I would need to contact Metlife myself to sort things out. In short after paying thousands of dollars for treatment they act as if they are doing you a favor as opposed to providing a service. And do not show up 5 minutes late for your appointment. You will be turned away and will not get a new one for a month. Their waiting room is always packed so the individual patients are not that important to the staff. Its sad,

I went to another orthodontist first for my 7 year old's consultation and it felt like a used car…read moredealership, like they were just concerned with maximizing profits, no personal treatment, little attention, all shiny modern impersonal surroundings. That other practice didn't take time to talk to me in any meaningful detail about what is going on in her mouth, then the assistant gave me a piece of paper that looks like something you get at a car dealership, without any treatment plan information, no naming of the equipment or estimated timeframe or anything, all it said was "Phase 1." And a price with payment plan options. I asked for a printed version of the proposed treatment plan and they said "oh we don't provide that in writing." I just thought it was the weirdest thing. I was left with such a bad taste in my mouth from the experience that I didn't start looking for another Orthodontist to consult for more than two months. But I needed a second opinion to see if perhaps I was just unfamiliar with the ways of the orthodontic world. So my dentist recommended Dr. Harrison and said "Dr. Harrison has been practicing for 40 years, if there's an issue, he's dealt with it, and I'd go there in a heartbeat." So I called Dr. Harrison's and I asked a question to the young lady who answered the phone, and when she went to get the answer for me, instead the doctor pops on the phone himself to answer me! And he just sounded so nice (and my gut has 100% accuracy when it comes to sensing good souls) so I knew I had to check it out. I made an appointment for my daughter AND for myself (for this bite issue that I've been having for four years that no dentist seemed to know what to do with other than Invisalign for 16 months just for moving four teeth on top, which I just felt in my gut was way too long). Wow what a difference experience makes. My treatment is cut down to 4 months. And he presented 3 preferred options for me and I got all my questions answered. Dr. Harrison was so knowledgeable and offered a fair cost for the appliance and braces for my daughter and for me. Most importantly, Dr. Harrison did everything that the other practice didn't do, I was not part of a faceless nameless profit line to the slaughter here. He even talked to me at length about her sleep apnea. He showed me removable and glued devices ("the great thing about this is it's removable for cleaning...the bad thing about this is it's removable!" . Then my daughter pipes in, "Oh I'll definitely remove it if it's removable. Yup I will." He talked about the benefits of each and took time to chat about non-orthodontic stuff that will help her too! Like a really caring person. And he talked about what could come up in 5 or so years when new teeth came in on the bottom. When he was talking to me about tape to help learn to sleep with my mouth closed, he demonstrated it on himself --it was too cute! At the end of my time laughing with and learning from Dr. Harrison, I was practically ready to yell "yes, take my money!" I'm glad I followed my gut and didn't use the other practice and kept looking until I found a true professional, with a heart and a sense of humor and a world of experience. I hope he's taking my money for years to come, if that tells you anything.

I already knew my insurance was not going to pay for all of that which was fine with me but they said they were going to contact the insurance company and I would hear back by the end of the day. One week later I still had not heard and I called again and was told the same thing that they would contact the insurance company and let me know by the end of the day. To this day now two months later I have never heard from them! I should have realized that when I first called and they had appointments open all day long that there was a problem. I was the only one there when I got there in an hour later when I left I was still the only one there. The staff was not very friendly and the dentist didn't say two words or say anything about root canals or crowns. I would have been willing to pay it myself but I never heard from them again. I would never ever ever recommend this place to anyone!!!!!
