Would rate a 0 if I could. They did our taxes, were cheap, and seemed effective. No complain until... well, until they had a data breach. That happens right? Well, I guess so. But the worst part was their reaction when I contacted them about it, and the subsequent Identity theft I have dealt with for 4 years. Someone using my tax return to file for me, collect a check, and then some more. When I reached out for help, they were simply in denial, said they had nothing to do with it, and pretty much hung up. Since then zero help, zero accountability, nothing... Buyer beware... Do NOT give your data to a firm that seems to have zero cybersecurity standards. Remember that you get what you pay for, and if you will entrust your SSN and personal information, you should look elsewhere. Consider yourself warned.... read more

If I could rate this 0 I would. One of the worst companies I've had to deal with. Went there for my taxes, they ended up messing up my taxes completely. Now I'm getting letters from IRS that I owe them 13,403$.... I've called them back asking what happened and why am I getting these letters. I was told that it's nothing that they did wrong and that the IRS messed up and that "we don't take any responsibility and you should take care of your issue on your own". When calling them back with questions they would deliberately not pick up the phone and when I would call from a friends phone they would answer right away and when I asked them why aren't they answering their I was told that "We are busy and we have no time" Well news flash if you're so busy maybe its time to manage your schedule a little bit better? But a you want to do is drain your costumers and have no responsibility. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! read more

***DO NOT USE: HORROR STORY BELOW: It started when Octavia left HR block and called me asking if I would leave HR Block and give my business to her at Manning. I said OK and did her that favor. Boy did that come back to bite me in the ass, hard. Octavia took all my information and then disappeared. No response to my emails or phone calls. Her excuse? "It's tax season we are too busy to respond to emails and return calls." Months later, the excuse changed: "now tax season is over so everyone is on vacation, sorry nobody is around to respond to your emails or phone calls." There was an entire week when nobody answered the phone, I was Googling if they were still in business. Wayne Silverman got involved, so I thought finally it would get rectified. NOPE! "We must agree to disagree" were Wayne's exact words. I began this process in February. It's now September, and my taxes are not complete. This company is the worst tax accountants I have used in 45 years of being in business. They knew they had done a poor job on performing tax return services. They actually paid a few small tax penalties for filing the several returns incorrectly. The problem is it cost me $15,000 to have another CPA firm file corrected returns. They knew their people were incompetent because they were released from their employment. I asked them to reimburse me for the $15 K. They offered $4256.25 as a settlement. Ridiculous. The last time I spoke with them, they said I couldn't sue them because of a 2 year window had expired. It sounded like they know how to delay long enough to avoid litigation. Using that as an excuse not to cover their lousy work says it all. I am filing a complaint with the States review board of professional standards. They need their license revoked. I went because my parents told me how good they "treat" their clients but thats not the case here because this year when i did my taxes with them one of the reason why chose them was because they said they would help me get the recovery rebate tax since i was one of the people who never received them. I filed in march 18 and was supposed to get them with my tax refunds and the lady who help me file them even promised me i would get them but never did. On top of that i emailed her about a month ago just to see if there was something that went wrong and she never reached back. So please guys don't go with this place, they wont take care of you especially after covid 19 read more
