I called ahead and was quoted $250 to repair my sunroof before making the drive to this shop. When I arrived, the place seemed busy, which gave me confidence that I had chosen a reputable business. The staff confirmed the quoted price but said they were too busy to complete the repair that day and asked if I could leave the vehicle until the following day. I agreed and left my car with them. A few hours later, I received a call saying that after inspecting the sunroof, additional parts were supposedly broken and the repair would now cost $750 instead of the original $250 quote. This raised concerns for me, as it felt like a bait and switch situation. Rather than moving forward, I picked up my vehicle and sought a second opinion. Another glass company came To my home (it was a mobile service) completed the repair for $300. The technician there told me there was no indication that anyone had previously inspected the sunroof, and the additional repairs and replacement sunroof I had been told were necessary were not needed. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone getting a quote from this company to obtain a second opinion if the price changes significantly after the fact. I'm glad I decided not to proceed with the repair here

Saturday morning I called 7 windshield replacement businesses and got 4 total quotes. When I called Onsite Auto I didn't get an answer but that's okay because in that time I was able to get those quotes and when Marco from Onsite called me back, he was the ONLY place that had my windshield and could get to me TODAY!!! WOOT WOOT. Marco was transparent and punctual. He told me he would do his best to fit me in today. He arrived TO ME on time and it only took him 35mins to replace. Marco answered all my questions and concerns. Not only was he professional but he just seemed like a great guy. He walked me through the after care and told me to call him if we experience anything with the windshield due to ALL my questions. This place is a preferred provider for state farm and that meant there was an extra warranty that went with the windshield and also just a very easy communication between the two. The worker on the phone was super nice and helpful and got me set up within a few days for a home visit appointment. The technician called when they were close to my property replaced and recalibrated my windshield. The whole time they communicated what they were doing and were fairly quick with it all. One thing to keep in mind, which I didn't even think about, is if you have tinted windows they do not provide tinting. So if that's something that you need, either do that as a separate part of your claim if using insurance, or find a spot that does both if on a time crunch. It doesn't take away from the fact that they were wonderful to work with though.

Fearing further damage, I called around to see if anyone could help me repair this chip. At 4:30pm, ONLY Brock was willing to help me! He asked me to send some picture to give me a quote. After sending picture of the damage, he informed me that I may have been hit by a rock but not there because the damage had already been filled by resin and that the repair was failing. I called the rental company and they confirmed this to be true. Brock is an honest man! Almost every time I head to Vegas, my windshield gets hit and chipped by rocks. Then i had to go back to see if they could put my head liner on better it was loose and just sagging by the windshield. not even a 3 week later there was a crack in the windshield with no rock chip. it was a stress crack but the owner would not take responsibility and said that there is a rock chip but there was no chip just a line from the stress. now i am down 700 dollars and will be taking it to Telsa now. I will get conformation on the windshield from Tesla. Just not worth the head ace.
