It turns out that Lilly, the NP I was seeing, has left the office and my stuff just completely fell through the cracks. My scripts have now been sent in, finally. However, I'm wondering how things will be going forward and likely will be switching to a different provider as this experience has not let time feeling confident in the care I will be needing in an ongoing basis.

With that being said, I know things can be busy or staffed and be shorthanded, but I'm not sure if that was the case. From the moment I walked in for my 1st appointment I felt very unwelcome! The receptionist barely acknowledged me was short unfriendly and almost seemed just irritated to be there. I have excellent insurance and I'm ver knowledgeable with insurance. She just told me my copay was $99 with no explanation, to me that was more than normal but I paid and will confirm with my ins EOB the costs. One of the responsibilities of a receptionist or front office is to set a 1st impression of a practice and this was a big failure on her part. The nurse that took my vitals was pleasant, the PA was great, knowledgeable and explained everything well. The second nurse that took my blood was outgoing and friendly, this gave me hope about my future appointments. I scheduled my follow up for a week later to review my results. On my second appointment there was a different receptionist and she was more pleasant. I was brought back quickly and a new nurse came in took my BP and explain another provider was here today than the normal one. She left saying she'd be in shortly. I waited 50 minutes no one ever came check in on me or explain why I was waiting so long! I would have been ok if someone came in, apologized for the wait and gave me an update but that never happened. After a hour of nothing I went to the front office and asked for a copy of my test results and said I've been waiting a hour no one has come in, I'll find another office. I was more shocked by the total lack of professionalism when she never once apologized and just printed my results out and handed them to me. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. It's a corporate medical office and you would think they'd have better trading in place for their team. This was my worst experience ever and I still don't know what I paid for? Update!!!! As I thought I received my EOB today and they charge my ins more than $800 for a visit with a PA and blood work. Per my EBO I was only to pay $24. I'm not dealing with these people that abuse medical billing codes. I'm filling a complaint wit BCBS. I'll let them deal with their billing department. Always check your benefits and EOB most of these large Corp managed care facilities are run by business people that expect you not to catch their misuse of billing!

The therapist are decent enough but it isn't worth dealing with the office staff who lack the competency to be effective. As a consumer and person I feel obligated to share my experience.

Tried psych drugs for the first time in my life through Carencia…read more Started having severe panic attacks, and severe anxiety. And yes severe, meaning my wife kept having to call an ambulance to come pick me up and they would have to give me Xanax to get me to calm down. I eventually had to go to rehab to get off the Xanax. Here we are 2 and a half years later an still suffering from severe anxiety that has affected many relationships, and work. When I originally told the dr what was happening he cut off all communication with me. The only call I ever received from him was asking me to take down my negative review. I couldn't believe it. I never met someone who was so supportive but the moment he knew he messed up just cut ties with me. Showed his true colors. For the rest of my life I will try and encourage people to stay away from these drugs and more importantly stay away from psych "Drs"

I am writing to express my deep frustration regarding the Sports Physical event on May 28, 2026…read more After rearranging my schedule and navigating through heavy accident traffic on Highway 287 from Waxahachie, my child and I arrived at 5:20 PM. The event was advertised to run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, yet we were turned away at the door by a nurse who stated that they had reached a 200-student limit and would not accept anyone else. The promotional materials mentioned absolutely nothing about a patient cap policy. Turning families away a mere 80 minutes into a three-hour event points to a severe lack of adequate staffing and proper event planning. As I left, I witnessed numerous other parents pulling in, only to face the same rejection. This was an incredibly poor experience, and our family will be taking our business elsewhere.
