I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this business deleted my review. She went against my wishes, and pretty sure the guidelines of being a therapist - turned my entire session into an unplanned session with my mother without my consent. She only asked me if she could come in FOR A FEW MINUTES. My mother was seeing her SEPARATELY and she is very easily manipulated, had a whole new perspective on issues revolving around me..... when she was supposed to be getting help for herself. PAULICIA did not recognize that my mother is codependent and clearly was turning her own therapy sessions into whatever issues she was having with me (a grown woman). She clearly enabled that. During the session where I was blindsided, they tried to have some kind of intervention with me about issues I never brought up with my therapist (because they were paranoia based, from my mother, mostly about my boyfriend who was not present????) I began getting overwhelmed feeling targeted for no reason when I just really needed to talk to someone whom I was PAYING TO TALK TO. I began CRYING and Paulicia did not give a damn. She only kept attacking me. And by attacking I do mean ATTACKING my character. Not helpful at all, just tearing me down...... I had literally just gotten through inpatient & outpatient, but I'm not delusional. This was an extreme violation of consent and privacy. I had to remove myself from the building (responsible!) and nobody cared at all. When I contacted the "boss" about it she didn't care, only offered me a free session or something, as if I would ever go there again. I have seen therapists all my life due to extreme child abuse and NEVER had any situation like that occur. Now I struggle with therapy because of genuine trauma from this experience, when I never struggled before. I hope she gets the help she clearly needs. God bless her heart. Their team helps me so much throughout my recovery. All of the staff are amazing, kind, and welcoming. I work with mostly with Laney and TJ, and they are both awesome. They are knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and truly pay attention to how I am progressing. I never feel rushed or dismissed, and they always take the time to explain what we are working on and why. Steve does my progress evaluations, and I really appreciate how he takes the time to listen and look at me as a whole person, not just an injury. They have helped and continue to help me rebuild strength, improve my mobility, and feel more confident with becoming more of myself again. Recovery after surgery can be frustrating, but Arlington Physical Therapy has made the process feel supported and manageable. My rheumatologist had me go to Arlington Physical Therapy because they provide certain diagnostic…read moretools that he felt important because of pain in my hand. Everyone there seems quite nice, and after an initial visit for evaluation, they performed an EMG. The test showed very limited compromise of nerves in my neck. I continued with therapy and on my third visit, saw a different therapist. On the fourth visit, it was back to the original therapist. After that for two visits, another different therapist, and then I saw a CMA. I have been to physical therapy many times and in many places. I've always had an actual DPT, never a CMA. During my last visit I had yet another CMA. And after all of the treatments, there was absolutely no difference in my pain. So here's the thing. Two points. First, I told them when I first started going there that I'm much more comfortable seeing the same person every visit. Either they forgot, or it was ignored. Second. Why is this my preference? Because each new person I saw spent half their time trying to figure out what the last person did, even though they had computer records. And there was no continuing investigation into what was causing my problem. I would be asked how I was feeling, and then they would try to duplicate the treatments and exercise exercises that were done the last time. I have a physical therapy facility two blocks from my house. They've successfully treated me for spinal issues, shoulder issues, knee issues and even for vertigo. Rather than driving 30 minutes to Arlington Physical Therapy, I'm gonna have my rheumatologist send a referral elsewhere. By the way, as I said, they're nice people. If you're comfortable not knowing who you're going to see every time you have an appointment, you may be more comfortable there than I was.

If anything, she got worse while she was under their care and objected to us removing my mother from the facility when we saw it was necessary. Many of the staff are good at what they do, unfortunately, the two handling my mother's care during her rehabilitation weren't!! Other staff members privately confirmed that they are very short-handed at this facility and nurses don't voluntarily chip in to help the Certified Nurse's Aids (CNAs) when needed! As a matter of fact, very few of the staff volunteer to do anything and give the impression that it is a major inconvenience to assist! Phone calls ring endlessly, patients' "red button" calls go ignored!!! The staff doctor, Dr. Satani, isn't much better if we consider effectiveness. Besides, he goes twice a week and many times... not even that! It's a real mess at this facility although they insist that the change in management last summer has made some major improvement!!! Although complaints were ongoing on our part, the head administrator took no interest in reaching out to us. Thanks to Joanna, Social Administrator, who was the only one who listened and helped us with our situation. If you love your family member, DON'T bring them here! If you have had a good or bad experience, please post them to let future family members know the present condition of this facility. My regret is that I didn't take the bad reviews more seriously. My hopes were that since they were from a few years ago that things had improved... not the case!!! Stay away from here and look for another place!
