This place is truly one of a kind. They treat you like family here. They do annual topography on my daughter bc my son has keratoconus, that was discovered by Dr. Martin! They listen to you. Dr. Cooke has seen my family for over a decade now. He's a great doctor, and an even better person. Several years ago, my brother was mowing the lawn and got something in his eye that wouldn't flush out. It was after hours on a Saturday. My dad called the office number, left a message, and Dr. Cooke immediately called back and asked if they could meet him at the office. After fishing out whatever foreign object was in my brother's eye, Dr. Cooke put some antibiotic in there, and sent them on their way. When my Dad asked about the cost, saying he could probably bill insurance for that, Dr. Cooke said to not worry about it, that he enjoyed doing things like that. This is the reason why I will always recommend Mansfield Vision Center. All the doctors there are great, and the staff is friendly. read more

I really enjoyed my first visit to Mansfield Vision Center. Dr. Martin was very friendly and explained everything during my exam. He took the time to answer questions and offer multiple choices as far as glasses, reading glasses, etc., that I may want to choose when I get my prescription. They staff here are friendly and works to make sure you have everything you need. I was initially giving them the wrong insurance and they worked to make sure they found mine. I like the eye doctor I saw. She is good at what she does and was very informative. It did take quite a bit of time to see her even though I was on time. I waited like 20 minutes which I didn't like. I have vsp insurance and this place was a lot cheaper then the place I went before. There was a 15$ copay fee and 45$ for examination. The eye doctor is very particular about your contacts fitting and working for you so she didn't give me the prescription and I had to come back for a second time after wearing them for a week which I thought was nice. I like this place but I just wish they saw you sooner and didn't have you waiting so long. read more

After my eye exam I was given some lenses, but I could only see far away in them... when I wore them I couldn't even see my face good to put on make up. So I went back to tell the doctor and asked her to change the prescription strength so that I can see my face and food while I eat. I actually have to wear my reading glasses to see my food when I eat. She told me there was a new lens out that will work best for me. She said they'll be on about a week, every week I would call to see if they came in and they would inform me not yet... So I've been waiting 6 weeks for some contacts. I am really miserable and I usually just use Walmart for my eye exams... I think I'll go back to Walmart and see if Mansfield Vision Center will give me my money back for an eye exam I paid for yet still haven't received lenses. read more

I showed up 20 mins early to an appointment because I was a new patient and knew there would be paperwork to fill out. The employee told me that I would have to come back because they were eating lunch! What great customer service! I thought that was what waiting rooms were for. This is the most friendly, helpful, and professional office I know of. If you're tired of your doctor, dentist, etc. where the staff seems harried and grumpy, stop in here to get a breath of fresh air. The staff is very friendly and jokes with you (in a professional manner). They seem genuinely happy to be there and happy to see you. Office Staff, specifically long, dark haired front desk girl were extremely rude. Its one thing to deliver bad news, its another to seem to enjoy it. Lost my family's business. There are plenty of other vision places to go to. Maybe if you can get past the rude staff, the doctor experience would have been different. Kindness goes along way, try it sometime. read more

I was VERY disappointed by the customer service I received over the phone today. I've been seeing this Optometrist for 2 years and this is my first truly bad experience. While trying to renew a contact lens prescription through an on-line vendor, the Vision Center did not have my patient information updated correctly. They inaccurately fulfilled my prescription through this vendor, at an extra cost/time to me. There was much confusion. The Vision Center Staff were not helpful and were very disrespectful to me as a patient. I will no longer be recommending this Optometrist to my friends and coworkers. read more
