Dr. Tran is very nice and courteous. His staff is a different story. After my first visit for contacts, the prescription needed to be corrected. It took 2 days for someone actually to answer the phone. I returned to the office to pick up a different prescription in only one eye. The other one was fine. I decided to go with what they gave me and again it took a day for someone to answer the phone. I asked to have the prescription emailed. After 2 days, nothing. I called again, they finally emailed me the prescription. However, they sent me a glasses prescription and 2 different contact prescriptions. I have been trying to contact them for 4 days and nobody will answer the phone, return messages, or answer the online contact form. I am going to another eye doctor. read more

To start off with full disclosure, I am a former employee of this location. Dr. Tran truly wants to best for his patients. With a whole host of new equipment to stay on the cutting edge of optometry today, CustomEyes Vision Care is there to help you, your family and your friends with all of your eye care needs. The staff truly wants you to be comfortable and have an amazing experience (ask for drinks, warm chocolate muffins and massage chair time - Tell them Geoff sent you) They also have a high end optical at the same location. This means they have Gucci, Dolce and Gabanna, Crizal lenses and a lot more of the high end frame/lens selection. But at the same time if you're their with a tight budget they have basic frame packages from around the $150 range (frame and lens). All in all, this is definitely the best Optical in town possibly this whole region but I've yet to visit every optometrist in the state. read more

WOW I just can't say enough about the office staff, the doctor, and the level of care. I'm terrible with names, but I think I know almost everyone's face here now, and they are ALL the friendliest bunch of people. They are personal and genuinely care when they ask about how your life is going. They explained everything very clearly and answered all of my questions without making me feel like I needed to stop talking lol. Dr. Anthony Tran is very professional and super friendly. He made sure to go over everything and answered all and any questions. He actually called me to make sure everything was alright an hour or so before the lasik procedure. (He refers his lasik patients to an AWESOME vision center that made me like him even more!) The waiting area is clean and tidy. I like the eyewear display and overall decor. They offer you a beverage while you wait. They also have a VIP room with a massage chair you sit in if you are in there for a while. They have iPads next to that and the exam chair I'm always seated at. All in all I am so happy with these guys. Definitely recommend to EVERYONE. BIG PLUS They've recently started accepting patients from The Department of Veterans Affairs. I deeply respect that they are giving back to those who have fought for our freedom. read more

I went to Custom Eyes Vision Care because of all the good reviews. However, I was disappointed with my visits. Not sure because of my appointment was late in the afternoon but the doctor wasn't thorough, I felt like Dr. Nguyen was rushing. I had to come back for a second appointment for adjustment on my prescription and my experience was the same as last visit. I've been going to CustomEyes for a few years and I have yet to have a negative experience. The staff is well trained and super friendly. Dr. Tran is an awesome doctor! He is very patient, kind, personable, and will answer give you great service as a patient. Dr. Tran answers all of my questions and cares more about the patient than most doctors. One of the best eye places I've been to. The people are professional, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a wonderful experience. I didn't get my glasses on time because when they arrived they were not up to the offices standard so they sent them back. Being that I live an hour away the manager called and let me know she would do whatever it took to get my glasses to me. Not only did they bring my glasses to me but also three in a few goodies. We came here for the reviews...plenty of parking and I love the online registration. Food for thought... We were seen 20 minutes after our appt time on a Saturday. We got there 20 minutes early so our daughter could get her glasses fitted then we could get our eyes checked and pick out some glasses. The doctor and staff were pleasant and welcoming. Here is why I'm giving them 3 stars. My daughter was able to get the promotion going on. But we were told we could not get the BOGO at the beginning and then in the middle we were told yes we could. So we picked out a 2nd pair of glasses. It's was $500 for 2 pairs of glasses so it was a great deal. That was just me alone. I get a call the next day and I'm told sorry we can't honor the BOGO. I had to go back to them with the physical card to get my funds returned. I go back a week later because my husband travels and I had to wait to get the card from him. A few hours later after get my refund... the assistant manager calls me to tell me that....they will honor the BOGO deal. I tell them ok then... kicker is they don't have the ones we picked out... ha ha ha jokes on me again. I have yet to see an email of similar frames. I'm really picky with my frames. I have had the same frames for the last 3 years and just change the lenses out. So I think we are just going to go else where for frames and lens. I'll try them again next year and hopefully it goes smoother. :) read more

After having the same eye doctor since I was a child, I have had a hard time the last 3-4 years finding someone new. Because my eyes are pretty bad (even Dr. Tran and his assistant seemed surprised at just how bad my vision is, lol) it's very important to me to have great eye care. Dr. Tran and his team are amazing! Everyone is very friendly and getting an appointment was quick and easy. Not only are they nice, they are great at what they do! In my experience, a lot of doctors can be arrogant and stand-offish. Dr. Tran took the time to listen to my concerns and learn about what was important to me. He switched me into some different contacts that better fit into my lifestyle and budget and got me the right prescription the first time (not common in my case). I will be coming here for years to come! read more

Dr. Tran and his staff are excellent. Dr. Tran is very personable and spent as much time as needed to make sure I was comfortable with my lenses. One of my eyes had improved vision so the power was going to be different from my other eye. Because of that, my vision felt a little "off". Dr. Tran reassured me that what I was feeling was normal and that it might take a couple of days to adjust. He let me know that if I was still feeling this way in a few days to come back and he would adjust the power in the one lens. They even told me that they would fix the contacts that I had already ordered and I wouldn't have to worry about any extra charges. Dr. Tran and the staff make sure that his patients are completely happy with everything. I appreciate the kindness and professionalism of Dr. Tran and his staff. I drive 30 minutes just to see him and would recommend anyone else who needs an eye doctor to do the same. The office is very clean, beverages are offered upon arrival, and an iPad is next to the exam chairs to use while you wait. read more
