They have a large selection of competitively priced gunpla and various tools. I'm someone who has essentially bought every gundam related stuff that I've wanted. Surprisingly enough, I found some water decals for obscure kits here. Overall, 100% worth coming to take a look. I am traveling from out of the country and this was one of the best places I've visited.

The store was a bit hidden away, but it was really spacious inside. Lots of other model kits to choose from. Since it was my first time building one, I asked a plethora of questions. The gentlemen working there were really helpful, and super patient especially when explaining to me how to panel line, sand the plastic, lazy vs. pro ways to make the model look attractive, and dry vs. wet decal sticker application. I really liked how they were genuinely really into what they do, instead of trying to push you to buy the most expensive kits like some places. If you're ever starting out, I'm confident these pros are able to assist. In any event, I enjoyed my first kit so much that I came back on 2 other separate occasions and purchased the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam VarKa MG grade. I chose MG grade because it was large enough to see most of the details, and also small enough that it didn't take up too much space--perfectly at 18cm. Finally, the price was acceptable for import model kit. Definitely worth a visit.

I kindly asked the store owner if he had or if he could order this part for me. With no hesitation, he strongly told me that he doesn't have the part for this car because he doesn't carry the brand. I was polite and told him that the part does not have to be the same brand as long as it fits! He insisted that its not possible and tried to beat around bushes by feeding me some BS that my servo shouldn't be where it is and because of that blah blah blah. I extremely do not appreciate being lied to or being taken advantage of. I'm curious why they don't want my business. Is it because I'm not the same ethnicity as them? I don't get why he had to lie to me and just deny my business.

Fast forward 30 years... last week, I found myself in their Markham location with my son who is just starting out in his train hobby. Since we're new to trains, we have no idea what we're doing but the staff were very patient and kind to us. They were welcoming & friendly and didn't blow us off. They took the time to explain some key things to us (which are probably really simple to them, but again, we are clueless!). They also helped us figure out if our used parts would work and pointed us towards small but important items we would need to be successful. I felt like they really cared about starting a newbie out right. We can't thank the staff enough for their kindness. We arrived at their store completely "blank" and left with great knowledge and excitement. THANK YOU!

They were recommended to me by Credit Valley Railway in Mississauga (a competitor) as the place to take Lionel products for repair. I had bought a Lionel Polar Express train set in December 2018 to have at our place for our grandchildren to play with when they visited. Although I like trains, I have never been in a position to have a set, but decided to take the plunge for our grandchildren. Within a year, the train stopped being controlled by its remote control. To the best of my knowledge there is not an other way to control the train, other than by the remote. I took the locomotive and tender to George's Trains on December 15th, 2019 for repairs. I asked if the repairs could be done by Christmas and they said "no". Fair enough. It was an inquiry, not a request or demand. Two calls by me over the next eight weeks, since drop off to George's, finally resulted in the comment that "8 weeks is not unusual in this business". (Full disclosure - they send this particular type of train out to a third party for repairs; they do not do repairs to this particular Lionel product themselves.) Again, fair enough, but why could that information not be given out at the time I dropped off the equipment? Further comments from the staff person I talked to was that they are "absolutely swamped" and they have no idea of when repairs to my set would be done. The person I talked to was reluctant to call the third party repair place to get information for me because if they did that for everyone, it would "slow down their business so that nothing else would get done". Aside from the seeming lack of communication or customer service, I am having a tough time deciding if the original cost of the train set should be written off as a sunk cost and give up the idea that having a train set for our grandchildren is worth it. It's located in Richmond Hill in the business/warehouse district off a windy road called West Beaver Creek. The address is easy to find, lots of free plaza parking, it's next to a kids dance studio and very visible store sign. Nothing sus like another yelper stated. Inside is very spacious, clean and bright. I love how organised the shelving for new games were laid out and they even more games in back. Off the walk in, I was greeted immediately and four employees were excited to help me. They are game experts and could name off suggestions for games quickly, to pair with similar games I had in mind. Super fun to nerd off in the board game world here! I always cross reference with boardgamegeek.com first when planning to new purchases, but asked them in person to see if opinions lined up. I was impressed one employee was quick to suggest ones I never heard of. Prices are good to fair. I felt no pressure to buy anything there, they even offered if I wanted to test ones that they have opened or to get a feel of the pieces(card game quality for kid durability is real). I left with buying three games I had eyed online, and excited for the suggestions for the next visit. They have a free loyalty program, can't hurt to sign up when you're a board game investor, as this is one place to bookmark. No food or cafe noticed here, unlike other board game places. Maybe one day as they are still new.
