Best experience ever! My case had been denied and my previous attorney considered that appealing it was useless. I went to Attorney Reyna Tanner for a 2nd opinion and with a tight deadline to respond. She had helped a friend with a very difficult case who had a positive outcome. Attorney Tanner listened to my story and gave me the confidence to give the appeal a shot. She filed an appeal to re-open my case and revert the decision and, within 2 months of filing, I got my case re-opened and approved. I've been "working " with this firm since before 2020. yet with little to show for it. I'm embarrassed to say I have receiver better care and general customer care at any MacDonalds I've ever stepped into. off the bat communication was flawed to a degree I never thought a firm possible. paralegal maria would somehow "miss" my email over the span of literally weeks. it got to a point I had to send in almost 50 repetitive emails narrowed down to. Hello? getting my emails? what's going on? the no response continued, i call her and the audacity and disrespect to tell me, "My husband told her not to speak to me" the applicant. the boundaries crossed within those two minutes of having her on the phone was absolutely embarrassing. Lorann, the manager had to then take over my case, only to receive zero recognition or apology or anything warm and professional regarding maria. as time goes i schedule a call with Gary, after they had advised me that renewing my daca was unnecessary. Gary continues to tell me on the phone that i hope not to get killed or raped while out in Mexico. Lorann the manager never showed not a small ounce of care towards my case. the process was not completed to this day. i am baffled, embarrassed, and whish i could say i had a five review as those below. I'm very surprised this law firm doesn't have any reviews. So I found out about these guys through my local church "Catholic Charities". Since day one they gave me advice and they were able to take on my case. My case was very unique because when I was born, (in Mexico). I didn't have my birth certificate and since I was never registered it made it impossible for me to acquire one. In as little as 2 - 4 months that I got them the paperwork they needed they were able to provide me with a Work permit and a Social Security number right away. This firm was recommended to me by a friend and I have to say in the 6 month journey of my case it was great to work with them! I went for a consultation with Reyna Tanner and I was convinced that I should hire them. I didn't want to take the chance of trying to go through the immigration process alone and It is worth every penny to have professionals knowledgeable in the field by your side. Reyna's legal assistant, Angelica Montes de Oca, helped me so much throughout the process. I communicated with her through emails and she always responded very quickly and answered any concerns I had. She also explained to me each step of the process, so I was always informed. I was able to send her most of the paperwork through email and that was extremely convenient. The faster you send them what they request, the faster your case will move along. When it came time for the immigration interview, the firm assigns an attorney to go with you. We were assigned Emily T. Neubert and she was excellent. I have never paid for anyone to disrespect me, in my life! I most definitely do not recommend this law firm to anybody. I paid $100 for a 10 minute consultation with attorney Gary Manulkin, to yell/ raise his voice at me for what he thought my case could possible be? Not only did he not once listen to a complete sentence come out of my mouth. But he consistently interrupted with his "legal " opinion throwing legal codes that I know nothing of, raised his voice and continuous slamming his hand on his desk ? For what reason? I do not know? He kept speaking to me like I was stupid, or as if I did not understand the language or as if I was a child? I asked politely for him to stop screaming and yelling that I was not hard of hearing that it was unnecessary and uncalled for. I said I was there to get my question answered and not yelled at. Which he did not apologize nor listened to. He continued to yell and answer questions that were not asked or did not pertain to me. He continued to show me immigration laws for drug traffickers and give me penal codes? I was there to ask for assistance on how to file and/or ask what is a DS-5535 form that I need to send on behalf of my husband. In the short 10-15 minute span that I was there with him I repeatedly tried to explain this is all I needed! He continued to raise his voice and tell me I was in the wrong office that I should probably look for an attorney in Mexico? May I add, in the middle of this so-called consultation, one of his secretaries or paralegals walks in ((without knocking I believe I don't know he was speaking so loud I did not hear a knock)) as I'm trying to speak she asks him a question as she gives him a form for him to sign as he gives her his undivided attention. He answered her question and reminded her of something completely polite to her with a smile even. As shes walking out she's speaking over me again without apologizing for the interruption! Not one nor thee other had the common courtesy to apologize for interrupting my paid for consultation! So very unprofessional on this entire firm! I got up thanked him for a waste of time. Im out $100 and livid! Never have I felt more disrespected like I did in that short span of time! The one star review for those yelp users that know that you have to select at least one star. This law firm is not worthy of even a half a star. They are far from professional and have the audacity to charge for a consultation! This is robbery! Stay clear and away from this place. Keep your money or spend it elsewhere. There are tons of law firms that do not charge for consultations.
