Located on route 96 halfway between Franklin "proper" and West Haven, this place has incredible potential. I stop by periodically for other services such as fuel or snack products. And when I do, I see quite a few people lined up at their Krispy Krunchy Chicken. But as for coffee...there is no excuse for a 24-hour station to have coffee only between 7 and 8 am (that is ... when I have been able to buy it.) Potential? Yes, but only if Mapco/BP make some upgrades. OR...better yet...change this management and get someone in who wants to keep this store on top of things. The only saving grace is that most of the staff is friendly.

I usually swing by this location for the 7 Eleven part, as the gas prices are not very good here. This is mainly due to being located in Cool Springs where everything is more expensive. I always get gas closer to the city. When I stop by it is usually pop in for an energy drink and snack on my way to the office. It is always a gamble on what they will have in stock. Selection is hit and miss on most things here, especially the drinks. Always seems to be empty spots in the coolers and empty boxes on the shelves. They have other options, so I am able to pivot, but sometimes I hop next door to get what I was really after. Service is bland here. Nothing terrible, but also nothing great. Overall, okay convenience store that does in a pinch.

This location is in good condition and is kept very clean, even the exterior, including the gas pump areas. The interior is good sized, well laid out and well stocked with all the goods! Being a Twice Daily, you get the extra offerings of the brand from a self serve food and drink area as well. Gas prices are competitive for the area. They are higher than you would get closer to the city or farther south, but for Franklin/Brentwood, they are standard. While I have never taken advantage of it, they do offer a car wash here too. Overall, this Shell/Twice Daily is a nice addition to the Carothers Parkway area. I pop by when I am in the immediate area, which houses a few medical professionals I see.

My Medicare Humana plan has not changed, but last month she told me my insurance does not cover that medication. She seems to be basing this on her experience trying to "put it through". it is "rejected". No amount of explaining my history with this medication matters at all. She will not do further research, although the Humana website clearly states it covers my medication. I was forced to move my prescription to another pharmacy, causing a delay in getting my medication. I ran out of medicine and had none for 4 days. That is totally irresponsible! Where do they find a pharmacist like this, with no critical thinking skills. And yes, Humana did cover the cost of my medication, as they have in the past.
