Delicious! The chicken Caesar wrap was the best I've ever had. My husband loved his turkey melt and potato salad. I also needed a sweet treat and the Brown Butter chocolate chip cookie was quite tasty. It's VERY busy and quite hectic inside and on the porch. No soy. No GMO, preservatives or artificial sweeteners. They have a bakery, wine bar, coffee bar & grocery. It's a wellness lovers dream. But what I didn't expect to find... I've been here many times throughout the years. There is always a line when I go but it tends to move at a reasonable pace. If you are in a hurry or need it to be fast, I would definitely be conscious about what time of day you go & don't go during busy times. The parking is easy, plenty of parking around. The place is clean, I typically sit outside because inside tends to be pretty loud. It's a good spot to come with my kids because it's family friendly - plenty of high chairs, bathrooms and other families. I've never had the coffee so I can't comment on that. The food is so good and truly some of the freshest and highest quality in the nashville area. I've tried most of the menu - the Cobb salad is great, the steak burrito is amazing, burgers are great, I love that they serve breakfast all day. They used to have a bigger menu but then would be out of things, now it is a smaller menu and I haven't had that problem. It's expensive - for a burger, steak burrito and salad it was around $70. Worth it, but also worth knowing for a place where you order at the bar and then sit down to eat. read more

Stopped in for breakfast while in the area. We've eaten here a number of times and generally like the menu, although the place can get pretty chaotic during meal time. We usually sit at the wine bar, which tends to feel like a bit of a hidden refuge. This visit, I ordered the chilaquiles rojo (tortilla chips tossed in a red salsa) with roasted chicken, two over-easy eggs, queso fresco, gluten-free tortilla chips, cilantro, lime, tomato, and spices. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The dish was heavy on chips and a bit too salty for my taste. There were only a couple of chunks of chicken, and they tasted more boiled than roasted, which made the plate feel unbalanced. The salsa also left the chips quite soggy, though that may be the traditional Mexican preparation. Service was uneventful. My only interaction was with the cashier, and the exchange felt somewhat impersonal. Overall, the presentation looked better than the dish delivered. That said, this isn't a knock on the Market as a whole -- not every menu item is going to be a hit. read more

Herban Market is a one of a kind spot for healthy dining out and products. The menu boasts organic, seed oil free, non gmo, scratch made, local, grass fed beef, and wild caught seafood. Find them tucked back in the same strip as The Flower Kitchen and Sopapillas. The parking lot is busy and it's typically difficult to find a spot. There is parking in front as well as an overflow lot in back. Herban Market is a restaurant plus a market. You can dine in or takeout breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The market offers fresh grocery items like meats and some produce. It's mainly healthy packaged snacks, vitamins, supplements, coffee, olive oils, balsamic vinegar, bath products, beauty products, and other items you may not find in a regular grocery store. This is the spot for hard to find or better products. Just a head's up if you are ordering takeout and buying goods at the same time. Takeout food has a 5% fee. I'd split this into two transactions so you don't accidentally pay a fee on all of your store items like I did. My favorite products here are the olive oils and balsamic vinegars from Veronica Foods. It's the best in taste and quality. It made my day to find this here. Find it near the aisle with barstool seatings. I didn't love trying to shop in between people working on laptops, but I guess they have to make the most of their space. It has always been busy when I have visited. Even odd times on weekdays. Tables for dining in are mixed in wherever they can fit in the store. They have quite a few tables in front too. The menu here is huge! The menu includes breakfast items, sandwiches, pizzas, tacos, pot pie, salads, wraps, and burgers. They have a make your own option for salads, wraps, and pizzas. The list of options for make your own is extensive. I'd definitely grab one of the menus at the entrance and use the time in line to plot your delicious meal. My daughter is obsessed with the kid's burger with their housemade applesauce. It's a big burger too. Parents won't feel guilty about letting kids have this applesauce. I love the Sweet Potato and Whipped Ricotta Wrap. It also has cucumbers, curry vinaigrette, and cashews. The tortilla it comes on is chewy and delicious. It is so much tastier than a typical tortilla. The Chicken Salad Sandwich has tasty bread and I liked the taste of the chicken salad. The Chicken Caesar Wrap was elevated by the quinoa croutons and exceeded my expectations. Sweet Potato Quinoa Salad and Brussels Slaw are delicious. The Butternut Squash Soup is heavenly. It's creamy and tastes like Thanksgiving with herbed croutons on top. I've had their Brewed Coffee and a Cortado. Both were bold in flavor and so delicious. They are big on not using seeds oils etc. Large cafe + market combo. Lively. Food (gluten-free) was good. Tasted a piece of the gluten-free coffee cake. Didn't look like much, but was really good. Service was good. However, on my way out when I went to check out the back of the market/restaurant there were hella flies flying around the seating area and along the windows. Definitely looks like an infestation and they clearly need to get some pest control treatments going back there. I'd return in the fall or winter when there tend to be less pests. read more

On a trip to Nashville my friends took me to Herban Market. I understand why now. Wow what an amazing meal. My friends ordered the Classic breakfast (Veteran move). I ordered the Breakfast burrito (Rookie Mistake). Everything tasted very fresh and clean. My only issue with Herban is when ordering a coffee it's not very efficient. I ordered an iced americano and it took about 15 minutes for me to get it, also when waiting to get the coffee it's kind of a cluster. I drove all the way from East Nashville to enjoy some healthy organic/pastured-raised no-seed oil food but everything we ordered either lacked flavor or was just straight up awful. Stay away from the breakfast tacos - flavorless mush. The turkey melt was mid. Organic healthy food can very easily be delicious if they gave it some care but it really just felt like we were just churning us through the line and table system - overwhelming ambiance and rushed food (showcased by lack of flavor and presentation). Still giving it 3 stars because I would love more organic/no seed-oil spots to pop up in Nashville but not this place. read more

Me and a friend had lunch here on 2/7/26 after getting our nails done and before some Costco shopping. This place was hoppin! I mean it was like grand central station! It's a store, restaurant, full service bar, coffee shop and more! It's very loud with people coming from every direction but once I figured out where to get a menu, which was huge with lots of choices and breakfast served all day! The cashier was a young man, don't remember his name but he was very sweet and kind and answered my questions about the place. I ordered an iced latte and a Herban Caesar Salad. The salad was HUGE and by golly the best I have tasted and I don't even know what all was in it, definitely a little more the the run of the mill Caesar salad. The coffee was very tasty as well. I also shopped a bit getting a couple packets of different brands of electrolytes. I liked that you could by individually because I would like to try most things before committing to a full box. I found it to be clean, well organized and worth the price for what you get. Tables were seat yourself, and they were throughout the building as well as outside with weather permitted. We sat at the bar and a kind gentleman who wasn't our server came by to take care of us because the bar tender was very busy. The coffee was very watered down and not very good. The breakfast tacos were a huge miss as they lacked flavor with too much egg. However the banana pancakes and the Foccia sand which are must haves. This past Sunday the 22 of December 2025 was our second time dining here. The restaurant setup is a bit quirky and not much space to sit and enjoy your coffee and food. It takes longer to get your coffee than the kitchen to prepare and bring your food order to your table. So you are waiting for your latte while the staff is walking around trying to find you at a table. Once you get it all together you sit and try to enjoy cold hard pancakes and you ask yourself... My family has eaten here a lot so we've tried many menu items...top favorite Birria tacos...just get them, they're fantastic. I do like the carne asada tacos as well but find them dry at times. We've also had the turkey sandwich, Cobb salad, lettuce wraps, and the pizzas! All delicious! While you are there please do yourself a favor and get some coffee!
