I come from the land of QT and RaceTrac's, so this location seems to be the closest I get to that on my drive home from Cool Springs to West Nashville. In addition to having all the standards a convenience store has, this MAPCO also features a kitchen that serves all kind of sandwiches, salads, hotdogs, etc...You can of course grab you some hot roller food if that is your thing. The inside and outside are clean and well kept for the most part and the only negatives are the gas prices always being about .20 higher than surrounding spots and the service is hit and miss. It is never just horrible, but meh. Overall, solid MAPCO location that I swing into because I pass it. Not sure if I would go out of my way to stop here, but it is a good option in the area when needed.

1 STAR -- MAYBE CHECK THE TRUCK BEFORE DIAGNOSING IT ‍…read more Love's Truck Care in Mt. Juliet, TN... you guys seriously need to send somebody back to brake school. I came in for a simple TRAILER BRAKE ADJUSTMENT. Before even properly looking at my trailer, I was told I needed NEW SLACK ADJUSTERS. Apparently they have X-ray vision now and can diagnose bad parts from across the shop. Then they told me they wouldn't adjust the trailer brakes. Alright... no problem. I called a third-party mobile mechanic. He showed up, actually looked at the brakes, made the adjustment, and was DONE IN UNDER 2 MINUTES. Two minutes. No new slack adjusters. No parts cannon. No big repair bill. Just someone who knew how to adjust the brake. If you're going to tell an owner-operator that parts need replacing, maybe actually inspect the equipment first. Truck drivers already lose enough time and money on the road. We shouldn't have to worry about being told we need parts before anyone even checks the truck. Love's Mt. Juliet: before trying to sell truckers new parts, maybe invest in some training and teach the shop how trailer brakes and slack adjusters actually work. Save yourself the headache. Based on my experience, if you need a simple trailer brake adjustment, call a mobile mechanic. He might have you back on the road before Love's finishes telling you what parts they think you need. ONE STAR. The mobile mechanic earned the other four.

I believe this makes 5x in a row so I thought I'd step up and say something. I won't go through all of them, but here is a synopsis of the last two. My nephew had a football game at Centennial High this last fall, so we went to grab a pizza from the counter (you know how high school boys can eat). It was fairly late so they had several partial pizzas available by the slice. My wife and I tried to order a pizza and were told it was too late (really!!) so we asked if they could put together a whole pizza for the slices that were being sold "by the slice." We were also told no. I was dumbfounded, they said we had to order them by the slice only. They looked like they were sitting for a bit so I thought I was doing them a favor. Not to mention, they had what looked like four employees just conversing and on their phones. This morning my elderly parents were craving pizza so even though we have had multiple negative experiences, I thought; what the hell, we haven't tried them since last fall. I called, a woman with a kind voice answered and I thought finally a positive. I apologize for not being able to find the different pizza options on your website and she transferred me to the "ready to eat" counter. Unfortunately, they weren't ready to answer the phone because after several minutes on hold we were hung up on. If this was just a one time occurrence I would be fine but this seems to be their common practice. Customer facing employees must have better customer service. I will just grab a few pizzas from another place, I don't know if this is a reflexion on Whole Foods or just that Ready to Eat crew. Either way we probably won't be back for a while.

Each visit is fairly effortless and stress-free. The only part that can be slightly painful is parking, and getting in and out of the place...this complex is very busy! I usually swing by this location for the 7 Eleven part, as the gas prices are not very good here. This is mainly due to being located in Cool Springs where everything is more expensive. I always get gas closer to the city. When I stop by it is usually pop in for an energy drink and snack on my way to the office. It is always a gamble on what they will have in stock. Selection is hit and miss on most things here, especially the drinks. Always seems to be empty spots in the coolers and empty boxes on the shelves. They have other options, so I am able to pivot, but sometimes I hop next door to get what I was really after. Service is bland here. Nothing terrible, but also nothing great. Overall, okay convenience store that does in a pinch.
