The amenities are really nice - my personal favorites are the free printing and coffee which always come in handy. Everyone that lives here is very respectful and I've never had any issues with my neighbors regarding noise or anything like that. It's also in a great location!! I cant stress that enough. Easy walk to the Fiserv Area and I've walked to the Third Ward and the lake in probably 20 minutes. I would suggest this to anyone!

The best part of the apartment was the property manager, Kristy, who is awesome! She was quick to respond to any needs, super friendly, and very passionate about the building. The owners were around often and took every measure to make sure the building was safe and always up to high standards. The neighbors are friendly and it is a short walk to the Third Ward, great coffee shops and restaurants. Highly recommend this apartment building!!

There is so much to do in walking distance and you have everything you need within 5 minutes. There are so many events within the village, but the community itself hosts great events that allows you to meet other people! I miss living so close to Strange Town, an excellent little restaurant. The downside was the price, particularly how much they wanted to increase the monthly if I were to renew. Not only that going up, but my pet rent would've doubled. Also, living in the north tower having to cross the driveway to go out with my dogs often felt dangerous because people coming and going from the garage wouldn't usually stop for us. The south tower seemed better for dogs simply because you would not have to cross any sort of traffic to get to the outdoor pet area.

I have called maintenance for several small items and they have come within 12 hours and taken care of everything. My primary problem has been not knowing which electric outlets are connected to which light switches. Maintenance is also available to assist with personal items like hanging pictures for a small fee. Several items of importance, I gave never run out of hot water and cannot hear neighbors next door or above me. Occasionally folks on the green roof patio will be noisy past 10 pm, but I could shut my windows to stifle that small inconvenience. I just choose not to. The concierge service is absolutely wonderful. Package delivery notices are via my smart phone as well as posted on an electronic message board. All concierges are very friendly. Note that they are located in the south building, so if you come and go thru the north building you will not see them without going out of your way. For that reason, I prefer the south building. In my short time here, the windows have been washed, hall carpets cleaned and garage stalls power washed (spring cleaning). So, in summary, well-maintained, friendly, quiet, great location and wonderful views! I am very happy at Park Lafayette!

I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment while attending graduate school in the city and I had plenty of space to host gatherings and out of town friends. The best part of my apartment was the floor to ceiling windows facing the park - my partner and I called it "the dog window" because in the warm months of the year, everyone walks their dog along the path. Lakefront Brewery being right next door means the street gets pretty busy on the weekends, so make sure to have underground parking. I wish I could stay here forever.

Lots of space and my patio faces a big courtyard. The complex is a friendly environment. There are people of all age ranges. Another big plus is that the community it is located off the highway and shopping centers are with in walking distance. Maintenance staff is always available and efficient in resolving issues. Best of all is the wonderful management staff. They are professional, focused, friendly and attentive to the community and answer any questions or concerns. Very Happy to be living here.

I stayed at Timber Ridge Apartments for a whopping two months. I broke my lease for many reasons…read more I'll try to be brief. This is a non smoking community, I am a smoker, in the lease it states that although it is a non smoking community what you do in your apartment is your business, So I smoked in my apartment, after every smoke I sprayed air freshner, and btw I am not a chain smoker. They kept telling me they could smell smoke coming from my apt. Which i found odd, were they constantly standing outside my door? Every visitor I had said they could not smell smoke. They said I had to smoke outside 25 ft away from the building, I couldnt even smoke on my balcony, but grills only had to be ten feet away from the building, this still makes no sense to me. My mother was my co-signer and they actually called her to complain about me, little do they know my mother and I are very close and we shared a good laugh about it. One night I went to bed at 915, my 13 year old son stayed up and was laying on the couch playing with his DS. At 1015 he came in my room and said someone was knocking on the door, I get up to see who it is and its the police, they told me they received a noise complaint. I said thats funny cuz I'm in bed and my son is laying on the couch playing a video game at a volume so low I couldnt even hear it, the officer made it a point to tell me 3 times that it was the lady downstairs who is complaining, so I have to wonder if this has happened to previous tenants. They took my info and left. A few days later I went to the office, and I told the assistant what happened. He said he'd look into it and if it concerns me he'll let me know what is going on. If it concerns me??? Ummmm.....Yeah it concerns me, the cops were at my apartment, It concerns me a lot. Its no surprise he didnt get back to me. I kept getting 5 day notices for the smoking, at this point I just wanted out of there, I was being harrassed not only by my neighbor but by the office staff. I suggested to break my lease, cut my ties with Timber Ridge, at first they werent having it. But I didnt give up. I just wanted out. So I kept smoking and finally they agreed to let me go. An office personal told my mother they would have no problem renting my apartment, cuz they are always at full capacity. So out of curiosity I looked at the tenant portal and they are still charging me rent, for two months now, I never recieved any type of correspondence about it, and I looked to see if my apartment is still available and guess what? It isnt. So somebody is obviously living there and they are still charging me rent. Rent which I refuse to pay. Beware!!!! They may be nice to you to get you to rent there but they are absolutely shady people, bad customer service all around, They are thieves. They are double dipping. Think twice and then think again before renting at Timber Ridge,

In the 16 months that we lived at the Overlook, we slowly but surely watched the building go down…read morehill. The elevator was constantly filthy, there were dog pee stains in various hallways, and nothing ever got fixed. We moved in with broken pantry doors and 16 months later, we moved out we the same broken pantry doors. As if that's not bad enough, rent prices seem to go up about 150 dollars every year, so you can look forward to that happening. The Eastside has nicer, more affordable options that don't smell like pee. I'd suggest pursuing one of those instead of the Overlook.
