Our room was clean and bright, the air was cool and dry, no smell, huge TV, abundance of towels, across the street from a gas station, Target, a few restaurants so the location was convenient... My favorite thing was the complimentary breakfast! There was actually quite a large variety of food and beverage options, and I cannot rave enough about the woman working in there. She was constantly in and out clearing dishes, keeping the food stocked and covered, wiping up every little crumb, and making conversation with the visitors, and asking if there was anything we needed that wasn't already out, etc. she was so friendly and helpful! I don't know if/when I'll ever be in Fergus Falls again but if I am, I'd come back here. My only complaint is that of all the cable channels, somehow Food Network was missing? But we settled for HGTV.

I especially love that breakfast was delivered and we got to eat it on the original benches in the train car. This was a truly spectacular experience. I highly recommend it! The only piece of feedback I have is that the website should make it much more clear that the train whistles can be heard at all hours of the night. We're pretty deep sleepers and only woke up once, but they are LOUD and honestly, if you're a light sleeper, this is not the place for you.
