Shyam was absolutely amazing! I have over 40 Japanese Maples of all different species and development in my garden that were left to me by my late brother. Shyam is an excellent arborist, easy to work with, and is very detail oriented. I have a row of various trees including a rhodie, a couple of camillias, a yew, and one I can't remember the name of. We had a consultation about pruning them and I was impressed with his knowledge and his suggestions. Yesterday he came and I couldn't be happier with his work. The trees are pruned back from a nearby roof but they aren't chopped. You can hardly tell pruning had happened. The interior of the trees are now clear of dead wood and dysfunctional and crossed branches. More light is getting in. Best: I need the trees for a privacy screen and somehow Shyam managed to do all the important size and structural pruning without removing privacy! The trees look beautiful and the cuts are cleanly and properly made. (I'm a Master Gardener so have a bit of training on pruning cuts and tree care.) In addition to all this, Shyam left my property cleaner and tidier than when he came. My highest recommendation! read more

Our Japanese maple was so overgrown and thick - looked like a blimp on a pole. Shyam just finished trimming it and, oh my goodness, it's sooo beautiful. It's symmetrical and lacy - he was able to open it up to see the structure but also keep some privacy between us and the neighbor...a really wonderful job. I can't be more pleased, honestly. It's dark now but I can't wait to look at it tomorrow. And I know I will really enjoy pulling up to our house day after day and seeing a thing of beauty rather than the giant leaf monster that used to be there. Shyam came to look at our maple tree that we were wanting to remove. It was gnarled and misshapen, and badly in need of some attention. After further conversation with Shyam, we decided to keep the tree, and off he went to breath new life into it. It is a 54 year old tree that in no way resembles its former self.
