The service stayed friendly and things came together nicely despite being understaffed. The food was delicious, and there are definitely some other things on the menu we'd love to come back and try. We especially wanted to try some dessert, but unfortunately we were way too full by the end of the meal! I ordered the Jerk Pork Chop, and I absolutely loved it. The jerk seasoning had a really nice kick without being overpowering, and the flavour was spot-on. The pork itself was tender with a fantastic grilled char. The mashed potatoes were a little bland on their own, but thankfully the Pineapple Curry Sauce that came on the side was incredible. It helped bring the potatoes to life and paired beautifully with the pork. That sauce was seriously tasty! My wife ordered the Red Thai Curry Pasta and really enjoyed it as well. She loved the flavour of the curry and the pasta, although she did wish there had been a little more shrimp. We also split a Keith's, which was nice. We would have liked to get a drink each, but we found the drink prices to be pretty overpriced, so we decided to stick with one. Overall, we had a great experience here. Delicious food, friendly staff who handled being short-staffed really well, and a menu with plenty more we'd like to try. We'll definitely consider coming back! We came right before the snowstorm hit so it was just our table and one other regular sitting at the bar. The place was very chill. Food was ok. The deep fried clamaro and my Muskoka Burger were authentic but not impressive. Service was nice, the waitress girl was friendly. I'd recommend this place if you are with one of the inns in this area and not planning to travel far to dine.

I loved my experience in coming here!…read more The space was lovely, really old school vibe. They had a small bar inside, with seating and a beautiful patio outside. Its in the back of a lane, so its not off the street. Yet, Bracebridge is on the small side so, its pretty easy to find. I believe they also play some local bands. I'd say more about the bathroom being small and them having an ecclectic collection of photos and the like. Yet I do not fully recall all about the ins and outs. Its kinda vague for me. I find its always nice to look at that kinda thing. Makes me have an appreciation for not being the only Collector of the odd. The person that was working the day we went, absolutely phenomenal. He was on the cute side, super friendly and accomodating. I ordered the plant based burger with their in season, warmed beet and chard salad, yet what appeared on my dish was not plant based. I'm not entirely fussy about the juices of the beef or anything. However when I asked him about it, he promptly was willing to have the whole dish redone. He seemed rather appaled that he had made a mistake like that, given he was plant based himself. Perhaps it was me not being assertive enough, or perhaps something was missed when the order was taken, either way immediate action was taken to quickly rectify the situation. And it was awesome! This to me, bespeaks of going above and beyond, which is something I resonate strongly with because I am that type of way myself. Would definitely return.

Awesome spot tucked off the Main Street, well worth a visit!…read moreWarm friendly environment

Okay, so this was an incredible experience. The prices remind me of the late 90s, and early 2000s…read more I honestly wasn't expecting much because of that. A pint of beer was still something silly like $5, and a burger and fries was only $9. There pasta was incredible, with way more sun-dried tomatoes than I ever could have imagined. And, their ridiculous dessert was a real treat. I don't think I have been able to go to a restaurant, fill myself and my partner, each of us have an alcoholic beverage, enjoy a dessert together, and leave a 30% tip (because of those prices if you're not increasing the percentage, the wonderful wait staff really get let down) all for under $60. Will I be back? I will. Honestly, if you were just going for lunch, it's hard to make a feeling lunch at home for the same price as you can get it there.

This was one of the rare places around the area that opened at 11 AM on Saturday so that was nice. The place provides the option of indoor dining, patio seating (weather permitting) and is pet friendly. (Some places unfortunately don't allow pets even with a patio so always good to call ahead to check first). The server was nice and attentive and offered my friends dog some water without us asking. The only downside when it came to service was the wait time. When we got a seat it was only us and one other table but we still had to wait quite some time for our food. The food itself was quite yummy. I had a strawberry pecan salad with grilled chicken while my friend had their burger with a side of gravy. The ingredients in the strawberry salad was fresh, the nuts were nicely candied and the chicken was juicy. It was refreshing to eat on a hot day and I felt quite satisfied after. In terms of the burger and the ingredients that went into making it, it was simple but once again, the ingredients were fresh and that's what makes a great burger. The gravy was that came on the side with the burger was additional $1.50 but in my option it was well worth it and went amazing with the fries. I would definitely come back if I was in the area again but if I was in a rush I would just order take out. TLDR: Attentive service, delicious food and fair prices, slightly longer wait time for food (If in rush, order take out)

Came in for a bachelorette evening. We wanted a low key evening of live music and hanging out on…read morethe patio We reserved a patio seating a couple days prior, when we called to let them know we would be a couple minutes late (Uber issues) they let us know that they didn't reserve seats on the patio and it was first come first serve and they weren't going to be holding a table outside for us. Not ideal and weren't impressed as we reserved it a few days prior on the patio. Thankfully when we arrived there was one table available that sat our party of 6. Service was good. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. Additional service notes: 1. We didn't all receive waters until 45 minutes into the experience, and we had to ask multiple times for them. 2. The food service itself took a long time considering it wasn't super busy - mains took 1-1.5 hours after ordering. 3. When we finished our dinner we sat with dirty plates for a very long time before they were removed. 4. Coming from Toronto typically when bars/restaurants learn of a special occasion they will comp something or send out celebratory shooters to "get the party going" - could be the area, but was a little disappointed by the lack of acknowledgement from the establishment. However the Food was good, traditional pub fare. Nothing outstanding. Price was a little expensive for what you do get. Drinks were underwhelming. We don't recommend the margaritas. Tasted like bar lime - no tequila taste and for 12-13$ (Toronto pricing) they really should have tasted better considering. Surprised most drinks were $9+ for the area and they were out of coolers and had limited options. There was supposed to be live music but they didn't arrive or go on. (Part of the reason we chose this particular bar). That would have been nice to know ahead of time as we would have likely moved a reservation to a live music spot. All in all in the area that was close to us - Not bad. But not what we had anticipated when we reserved. Basic pub, nice patio - good view If you are looking for live music I would call and ask the day of, as the band/person never showed up to our evening as advertised. Personally I wouldn't go back - unfortunately nothing special.
