They also offer homemade treats for your furry friends and there are gift items that are made locally. They had pastry options and some diner style hot breakfast, but I wasn't blown away by these options and (correctly) anticipated that I might prefer my food options on the other side of the mountains. However, their drink selection was quite robust for a place in a pretty rural location. I ordered a coal dust which was a mix of white and dark chocolate; I was a bit miffed that the menu didn't make it clear that it was actually a coffee drink as it could just as well have been pure hot chocolate. However, the flavor combination was ultimately successful for me. Travelers should certainly consider stopping in this location to take a look around, and why not pick up a beverage?
