He had never attended daycare prior to Winwood, and in the beginning had separation anxiety when he was dropped off in the mornings. The amazing front staff knew exactly how to calm him down and get him to smile . As a parent, it's very comforting knowing that I don't have to worry about how he's doing because I know he's being taken care of. Our older son has been attending Winwood for almost a year now and loves it. We absolutely LOVE the Kindergarten Club that Winwood offers! He is reading and writing on his own more and more each day because of the Kindergarten Club and his amazing teacher. We are so happy to be apart of the Winwood family, you guys are the best!

You worry so much: are they going to soothe my child like I would? Will she be loved & well taken care of? Safe? Will they pick her up & give her attention? The list goes on & on & on. But at Winwood everything is taken care of. They answered all my questions & ones I hadn't even thought to ask. I felt completely assured & didn't have a doubt that my baby would be & is loved & incredibly well taken care of. I get a report & notifications everyday, the teachers clearly communicate with you at drop offs & pickups about ANYTHING you need to know. They encourage you to drop in to visit, call, or log in online to view their cameras anytime to give you further peace of mind, but honestly I don't need it! The teachers are so incredibly caring & attentive. I feel 200% sure that Ms. Tina, Lauren & Kyong take excellent care of my baby! Every time I come in the room to get her, she's happy & fed & changed & being well taken care of, most of the time being held & in one of the teachers' arms. When I drop her off it's evident they care. Kyong especially always breaks into a smile & immediately takes her into her arms to hold her & starts talking to her & rocking her. That's such a reassuring feeling to know they love your baby as much as you do & are happy to see her, it's not just a job to them. Throw in the fact that this school is super accommodating. My previously arranged childcare fell through & I came in needing last minute temporary care for a few weeks with virtually no notice. Winwood took care of us without a problem. Do not send your child(ren) to COA of Warrenton!! We were there for less than 1 month and…read moreimmediately withdrew because of how we observed the staff speaking to the children. (elementary school age) The children were spoken to as if their hearts, minds, and spirits didn't matter and as if the teachers didn't want to be there. My child was referred to as this child, despite my stating her name four times within the conversation. The teachers talk to the kids as if they are a nuisance, and the observed tone and word choice they use with the children are so disheartening. It broke our hearts to hear our child's feedback when we asked how the day went. ( Teachers yelling at kids, kids told to 'shut up', children ignored, etc.) We decided to observe the atmosphere ourselves before making any changes in childcare and sadly discovered that our child was 1000% spot on! We observed children being spoken to very unkindly, a teacher yelling at a kid and pointing at them while saying, "Get out!" just because the child told her friend their mom was there for pick-up. We also observed the children's expressions when spoken to this way. The kids' hearts and feelings were visibly broken and destroyed by the teachers' aggressive, destructive word choice and delivery. In addition to what would be considered verbal abuse in many households, they also overcharged us and would not return the money. We are a military family and were granted a military discount. The first charge exceeded the agreed upon contracted value. When I noted this, a credit was placed on my account and I was told "They won't give your money back." And sure enough, at withdrawal, they declined to return the money that they erroneously withdrew from my account. We had high hopes in COA of Warrenton, despite the reviews online. The Director, David, was pleasant and appeared to truly care about the children. Everything else was a train wreck and I would not recommend ANYONE take their children to COA of Warrenton until there is a new team onboard. This was by far the WORST EXPERIENCE we have ever had with a childcare facility. Find an alternate childcare solution AND AVOID COA OF WARRENTON!!!!!

My son is always in such a good mood when I pick him up and I love getting hourly updates / pictures on what he's up to during the day. I love their theory toward learning- that kids learn through play- so keeping everything fun has been the best for my insanely active 4 year old. Out little boy had not attended daycare prior to this, and he has gone from crying when we dropped him off to jumping out of the car to go and be with his friends and teachers. The program director Ms. Sheila is just an amazing woman with bottomless wells of patience and kindness for these children. The entire staff is terrific. She really treats them like they are her own kids. If you want a daycare solution (and preschool soon), that really is something better than the average place that just warehouses kids, then Caring for Angels is the solution for you. They have done some great fieldtrips and the kids were even in the Warrenton, Va downtown parade on a float. It is associated with the True Deliverance Church of God.
