The teachers always start the day with a plan but understand the importance of pivoting when something isn't working for an individual or the class.  Children are given a safe place to play and are encouraged to get messy. Sometimes a spontaneous dance party is exactly what the children need. Our family had a very poor experience at this center. I should have trusted my instinct during the…read moreenrollment process when the center leaned about my child's minor disability and demanded I complete a reasonable accommodation form prior to his start date. My 2 year old is in a physical therapy program, during the pandemic his therapy was strictly virtual.I was required to sign a document that stated "should the center be unable to reasonably accommodate my child's needs" he would be disenrolled. I assured the director Sarah Zirzow that he was an independent and active average 2 year old they did not need any "special" privileges or accommodations yet we were still denied a fair treatment. I took her actions as a simple inexperience in working with children with disabilities and abided by the rules. 1st day the incident reports began piling up. He was sent home with multiple reports of violent behavior which sounded nothing like my child. The director made the decision to not allow him to come back for the remainder of the week and put together a 3 strike contract terminating him from the program. My child was disenrolled in less than 3 weeks. I have made over a dozen contacts to the corporate office at the Learning Group asking for a call back and no one has yet to return my call. The center charged us for a month and a half worth of daycare expenses and has made further unauthorized charges against our checking account 4 weeks after his disenrollement date. A billing specialist at the leaving group finally informed me that my refund would not mailed for 7-9 weeks! I have sent multiple emails since requesting videos of the allegations, copies of incidents they reported that were never provided to me, an explanation to my refund.. none of which have been responded to. The center staff was very pleasant during the enrollment process but have very little to no experience in managing an educational program and caring for small children. The new center has not reported a single incident in nearly 4 weeks.... I feel so guilty putting my child through whatever happened at this center during that 3 weeks and not trusting my first instinct. We were looking for a school in the area that was not only rich in their curriculum, but a school that was diverse in its culture and one that embraced children of all ethnicities. I noticed that during Black Histoy Month (2/2023), there were no initiatives highlighted in the February Monthly newsletter to recognize the contributions of the many African-Americans that have contributed to American History. I decided to email the staff with ideas in which Black History Month could be incorporated into the curriculum, considering that there were a number of African-American students enrolled at HCA. I received a phone call immediately from one of the Administrators (Mrs. Juliana) stating that this was an oversight and that they would be sure to highlight Black History Month. I had a follow-up conversation with the Curriculum Specialist (Mrs. Giovanna)...and to my surprise, she had incorporated many of the items that I highlighted in my email! Not to mention, how swiftly she acted upon this. I would like to extend my SINCEREST gratitude for all that HCA has done for Black History Month and everything that they are instilling in my children daily. I was thoroughly impressed with the various learning activities the students participated in throughout the month. They exceeded my expectations on highlighting African-American culture and the many great achievements of some of the well-known Black pioneers that have contributed to AMERICAN HISTORY. Efforts such as these make my husband and I confident that we have selected the right school for our children. We look forward to our children thriving in a school environment that promotes diversity and inclusion, as well as high educational standards. Job well done HCA!!

Their caring environment made the transition very easy for our family. My two year old daughter has been enrolled since the middle of the pandemic and they've taken many precautions to keep everybody healthy. The school is clean, well organized, and most of all - safe. The staff is seriously amazing - everyone is so happy and caring. As parents, we know life with kids can be both rewarding and challenging, and how much work is involved day in and day out. The staff at Little Rocketeers makes it look SO easy peasy and my daughter is so happy going to school every morning with all her friends. The curriculum is great, my daughters language and communication skills has really improved while being enrolled here. I love that they incorporate Spanish into the curriculum as well, as language fascinates me. Her development has greatly improved - she really thrives here and it's so noticeable! We enjoy all the events they have, like pajama and show and tell day. I also really like how they offer additional quarterly activities, such as soccer and yoga. The practice sessions are incorporated into the school day, so it's one less thing for me as a mother to do - drive to practice, which makes it easier for me!
