At that point, I felt it was time to make a quick getaway before he noticed me driving off in his prize, so I had to schlepp everything in one trip and make a beeline. Fortunately I only pack away the winter linens once a year. Maybe by the time I need to go again, he'll have gone back to Hollywood.

However, it gets the job done (and my laundry has never smelled after). It's in a safe part of town and has a convenience store right next door so you can grab a drink and a snack as you wait for your laundry as well. One of the drawbacks is that it's coin-operated only, so be sure to bring change (there's also a quarter exchange machine there if you bring bills). Another is that the detergent dispenser is often out of stock so I recommend bringing your own. There are also more industrial machines there if you have a really large or durable load. Like I said, this place gets the job done and that's all you can really ask for.

I will say, be mindful of some people who might be in the laundromat as well; I've had my dryer sheets stolen right in front of me, literally, and my boyfriend was asked if he had dr*gs multiple times after saying no. The last five or six times I've been I have had to turn around and leave because of the motel using everything. Not to mention how expensive it is now for mediocre return. My clothes are always wrinkled and have a smell to them. Very disappointing to watch this place go downhill.

The vending machines are $3 for laundry products and $2 for snacks, and $2 sodies. So it's safe to say, this establishment falls into the same trap that some black businesses fall into... Using Community Unification to justify Overcharging their Audience. Tucked away in Overland/Maryland Heights in a cozy plaza. I suppose the audience is not intended for everyday people. Might come back because I see the vision. But might go elsewhere in favor of not spending $15+ just to wash clothes. However it's all relative as a staff person told me this was not busy. So maybe Friday was a good time. You can bring your own detergent, softener and dryer sheets. However, if you need to purchase they offer machines with supplies. They also offer drink and snack vending. I believe there were also TV's. As well as easy to jump on WiFi with no password required. I found the only staff on premises very friendly and helpful. I needed the helpful part. She turned me onto the Dexter Pay App to pay. It was very easy to use and sends notifications on Washing status if you need to step away. The dry is included. Overall I found it to be a super value for their services. Both of my machines worked flawlessly. Delmar Loop can wash and fold your laundry and charge by the pound. Great experience and would return and recommend.
