I needed to wash some huge rugs and found this place nearby! Prices for laundry detergent etc were much cheaper than other laundromats I have visited and they had a number of large machines! I wasn't quite sure how to work this laundromat as previous ones I have used had you do everything from your phone but the attendant was SUPER helpful and walked me through how to load the card etc. It was super easy to do, the laundromat was clean, and they offer drop off services! read more

Just had a terrible experience with the new attendant who decided to get hostile with me as I entered with a 7lb dog like she could harm all the kids... She was rude and outright dismissive of paperwork that proves she was a emotional support animal. Ever since the new owners this place has gone way down hill and is completely NOT a neighborhood place I will continue to support or endorse because of the fact that close to 30% of the machines are broken and have some restriction to payment methods. PS: Nowhere does it say "No Dogs" On any window/sign or notice anywhere. read more

I only use commercial laundromats two or three times a year for their commercial size machines. Each time I go to Washateria they've made an improvement. I am always super impressed at how clean this place is and how helpful are the staff. The last time I was there they had converted to credit card machines. Oh my god this was so helpful!We no longer have to carry cans of quarters to do our laundry! This is a great business to have in this neighborhood. read more

This is a nice establishment they can clean washer out after each use or have cleaning supplies so customers can wipe down after use other than that I have no problems.. bring cash or coin because they automatically charge 20$ on cards, you usually get your differences back within a day. read more

After years of traveling 20 minutes for a good wash spot I finally found this gem! They have many different sizes of washers and you can pay with their internal cards/Cash or card. If you pay with card know that the initial charge is going to be $20. I would say that the washers are a little bit more than the other place that I was going to but being that it was closer it's so much worth it. You do need to pay for your dryers if you do not have their loyalty program card. I came around noon time on Sunday and it was pretty busy. But it seem to have a good pace. The staff that they had on duty it was very nice and knowledgeable and was always cleaning some thing which was nice! They have some snacks TVs and fans going to help with circulation of air. Currently masks are still required but it doesn't feel too bad. Plus it looks like they also have a drop off service where they were also deliver as well! So if you are busy definitely the place to go. read more

I love the Washateria! They have a Monday special on wash-n-fold which I do most every week. It's 99¢ per pound of laundry and they do a great job. I get the impression that different employees have different ways of folding, so it bugs me just the smallest bit how they sometimes fold t-shirts, but that's just a pet peeve. It's super convenient, reasonably priced, and I'll keep coming here! (Oh, but they don't enforce masks inside; even some employees are free-facing it. And there's almost always a cloud of smokers to walk though on your way in) read more

I have a washer and dryer at home but, it's not big enough for my comforter. I come to washateria every few weeks to wash and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and I'm always in and out within an hour. Definitely stop by if you have a large load to wash or you just need to do your weekly laundry! The first time I went to visit, I had a terrible experience. I had my uniform dry cleaned while I was on vacation for a week. When I came to pick it up, it wasn't ready. I had to take off work because of it. When I did finally get my uniform, one of the employees asked for my number and started flirting with me. This experience sucked and at first, I vowed not to come back. But I decided to give this place another chance. They're so close to my house and they offer a rewards program. Boy, that was a huge mistake! I walk in and start putting dollars in the quarter machine. When suddenly the owner(?) walked up to me. "Excuse me? Are you Stella? Can we talk for a moment?" As I predicted, she wanted to talk to me about the bad review I left on Google, or rather, she wanted to SCOLD me for and point out every thing wrong with it. "He's gay. I don't know why he would be flirting with you?" Huh, that's a good question. One I obviously didn't have an answer to. I asked her if she confronted him about it. "Yeah, and he showed me texts from where a girl named 'Stella' had been texting him. She had your phone number." Really? But didn't she just say he was gay and not interested in me...? "He's experimenting." Right. Nothing wrong with that. She could have mentioned that before...or not brought it up before, but whatever... Now the texts. I asked her for proof of me and this guy texting. Maybe it was a misunderstanding since I knew it wasn't true. "I fired him. After reading your review, I fired him for harassing you." She fired him? Despite the fact that he was gay (or experimenting)... Despite the fact that he had proof we were flirting... She fired him. I mean, I already know she was lying, but she could at least make it sound believable! So, what was the point of throwing these lies at me? To make me mad. To make me throw a fit. But I didn't. So, she threw one for me. She yelled and fussed about the guy being innocent, my laundry not being late, and so on. All the while her kids and customers where all behind me listening. Do I need to explain how unprofessional this was? After our one-sided yelling match, she then offered me a free wash and dry cleaning. So... one star for that, I suppose? Guess all of this was my fault for a bad experience and then having the audacity to not give them a 5 star review. And then giving the same company another chance? How horrible... Okay all sarcasm aside, this place may have a great rewards program, but it's not worth the drama if something bad happens. I'm spreading this review so others can avoid the drama, too. read more

2nd time using it. Clean and well kept facilities. However the employees do not wear mask, no hand sanitizer and I don't see anyone sanitizing the area between customers. I did see the attendant wiping down the area she was using for drop off loads. No hand soap or towels in the rest room. I have had nothing but great experiences here. They recently fixed the broken dryers which is awesome, and we always go at a time when there are plenty of machines available. The place is clean and well lit and is a pleasant environment to do laundry in with plenty of seating and plants, as well as folding areas. The staff has been friendly and helpful, and one (who works on Saturday nights but unfortunately I don't know her name) has gone out of her way a few times to help us out. The staff aren't always wearing masks and I wish there were paper towels in the bathroom, but we wear masks and wash our hands frequently, and we wait for our laundry outside so it's not a big deal. I usually get my clothes washed at many wash and folds all over the country but when I called this place the woman was very rude . I explained I was in need and wanted to know her rates for regulate wash and fold . Her response was it depends if it's same day or not but in a very rude way almost like she wish I would hang up . They didn't have a standard rate so I figured I was going to get charged top dollar. But as long as the service was good I was ok with that .I had our girl take my clothes over to this place . I decided to just give her 10lbs to see how the service was . Well I got my clothes back half folded in a large garbage bag with a receipt that did not have a break down of the cost of what she charged . 5 pieces cost 19$ it was like a half a load . So if a load cost 4 dollars and you charge 19$ and my clothes didn't smell good nor did they get any fabric of softener that's more than a 50% profit margin with labor included . Half folded in a garbage bag ? Nice !!! I bet they wouldn't appreciate that if their clothes were treated that way . I'm not complaining about the price but what did I get charged almost 20$ for for two pairs of jeans a shirt and a hoodie . My clothes came back like they didn't use soap or fabric softener. Very disappointed. Won't go back next time I'm in town . I also told everyone on our tour and so everyone decide not to use them and just do it themselves after they seen my experience . The only reason why I came to this facility was because of the good reviews and fact that my apartment complex is currently doing maintenance on our laundry facility. The dryer that I placed 30 minutes worth of coins into decided to break down and tear my scrub pants in the process (that cost $30 a pair). So I went to the attendant to inform her and the only thing she did was tinker with the dryer, tell me that it was fine and that there was nothing that she could do because I used it at my "own risk." There was no signage that indicated that the dryer was dysfunctional prior to me using the machine. When asked about compensation for the time left on the dryer she told me that "the dryer was fine and that there was nothing that she could do about it." Terrible customer service, over priced washers and the attendants chain smoke cigarettes more than they actually work at the facility. Needless to say I won't be back again. read more

Love this place, been coming here every week for three years now. The staff is always super helpful, the owner is here a lot to help out, and the machines are always ready to go. Chargers everywhere, tables to sit and do work at, as well as several couches to kick it in. Washateria was my go to wash house. I love the morning atmosphere and the staff were always pleasant. I started using their laundry service. I was very pleased until the staff started to change. I stayed loyal even when I moved out the area. Unfortunately, I have left Washateria because of THEFT and poor laundry service. I notice my clothes ( 2 Nike outfits) where missing but I thought it was me and I would found it- never happened. I didn't unpacked/go thru my clean clothes right away...maybe a week or 2 will go back before I open the bags. The last straw for me another theft and wash/fold service was horrible! I had to re-fold all of my sheets. They were literally rolled up in a ball. I requested a refund and was granted. Pros: atmosphere, Debit card use, cost, and quality washers/dryer. Trying to find a dry cleaner that would take care of a king size comforter was not as easy as I expected. After doing some calling around I found Washateria. I'm not a huge girl and the large fluffy comforter took over me, ha! The gentleman working there kindly opened the door for me and guided me to the dry cleaning counter. The place seemed to be decently clean, the only negative is that their credit card machine was down. But how much control do they really have over it? Overall, my experience was great. I have 2 dogs and I spray tan weekly. It probably wasn't the best decision to purchase a white comforter but there's always bleach right? HA! As laundromats go, Washateria rocks. It's clean, bright, the staff are all very nice, and they recently started taking cards on all the machines. Win. They apparently have a drop off service as well, but I'm not really keen on strangers folding my underwear, so I haven't tried it. They also have drop off dry cleaning, which is nice and convenient when one of the three dry clean only things I own needs freshening up. I was really pleased with my first visit to washateria today. It was clean, calm, and the staff-person was very helpful. I had two loads, and had forgotten to bring detergent. The staff noticed me struggling with one of the washer and came over to assist. Turns out the keypad was not responding, so not only did she try and help, but she also provided some of the same detergent that I had already bought to use in another machine. Wifi was great, and space was big enough for the 2-4 groups of us to all spread out. read more

I encountered today the most unprofessional aggressive inconsiderate person I have ran into in my life thus far. I kindly asked her if she could replace some money that had been taken in the vending machine so that I could re-put the money in the vending machine and get the tea I originally had put the money for , and she said it's not my problem. She continued to exchange words with me as I mentioned to her that I would make sure to make a report to the owners of this location about how they have a very unprofessional employee , and she said she could care less because nothing would happen and that she ran that spot ; and if I didn't like her attitude I could get my clothes out of the dryer and get out. Super easy and convenient laundromat. Premises are clean and I always find available units. I have found the staff here to be very friendly. Tillie is one of the nicest staff members here! She welcomed me with a warm smile, and showed me how the Fascard system worked, which is MUCH more convenient then the quarters I was lugging around. I would've never considered it if she didn't show me. She also helped me figure out the best units for my clothes.
