I stopped by Bellevue Laundromat on a Thursday evening around 6 PM to tackle some bulk laundry, and it was surprisingly not too busy. I needed three washers, and between washing and drying, expect to spend around $10-$20 in quarters. The whole process took me about an hour, which wasn't bad at all. Service-wise, there wasn't an attendant on-site, but they do have a number posted on the door if you run into any issues. Just note that only one of the two coin machines was working, so it's smart to have a plan B or bring extra change with you. The ambiance was decent--well-lit and fairly calm--but the trash bins were overflowing and could use more frequent attention. There's also very limited seating, so you might want to wait in your car or take a short walk while your laundry runs. Lastly, there were only two laundry carts available, so if you don't bring your own, you might have to wait your turn. This is a great little place to wash things that are too big for the home washing machine (the oversized machines here are great for comforters and such, and reasonably priced), so why the three-star review even though I've gone here for years? This place has a new attendant and he's a little scary. If he can be believed, the owner died and left him the laundromat (not sure he can be believed, but he certainly is ubiquitous at this location), even though he claims he is already independently wealthy (he is, after all, the real Bruce Willis -- the one in the tabloids is just his stand-in). I think the attendant lives there, since he maintains a chest filled with cheese, which he drops everywhere. The incessant chatter was just annoying, and I did my best not to engage. It only became scary when he pointed out the car that "they" gave him out of appreciation for his contributions to Richmond Heights (which his father founded, according to him). It was my car. At that point, I felt it was time to make a quick getaway before he noticed me driving off in his prize, so I had to schlepp everything in one trip and make a beeline. Fortunately I only pack away the winter linens once a year. Maybe by the time I need to go again, he'll have gone back to Hollywood. read more

Our dryer crapped out randomly today (Sunday), so I was relieved to find a local coin laundromat that was open. I parked across the street in a metered spot (free on Sundays) and found the place relatively empty at around 5 pm. There was one other customer, and someone else left their washer running. The machines were relatively easy to use. $0.25/7 minutes in the dryer. Got the job done! read more

After subjecting myself one last time to a 15 minute drive just to do laundry at Tiny Bubbles on S. Grand, I decided it was time to find someplace closer to my apartment. Bellevue Laundromat answered that call and my life has become ever more convenient. Pros: It's clean and cute inside. There's an arcade game and a soda machine and some magazines if you feel like reading. The shop next door has coffee and snacks (and booze!) and the fellas there are really nice. I've never had a problem with a machine and the prices are average. Cons: A bit small with limited seating. I usually go in the mornings during the week and this has yet to be a problem for me, but I could see it being highly inconvenient when it's full. It seems like a lot of people drop off their laundry and go home to one of the many nearby apartments, so if you're someone who likes to sit at the laundromat there is usually a place to do so. Also, there was no parking lot that I could see, so finding a spot on the street could be an issue. Again, I haven't had a problem with this but I could see it being an issue if/when things get busy. UPDATE: After drinking too much coffee one day and ending up doing laundry here, I realized there is no restroom. This is kind of a huge con in my book, although I understand why they don't have one. Overall, I recommend this place if you live in the area. Just be aware of when you go and that it may be crowded if it's busy! read more

Went to two other places that were so dirty , old and packed before I found this place. Not much on the outside but new machines, quiet, and not crowded even on a Sunday afternoon. It was 2.25 a load to wash which is expensive but worth it to feel safe read more

It's not the greatest....The price is Ok...But the dryers take forever to dry your clothes. And the washers do not leave your clothes smelling good even when you put a bunch of laundry detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets when you dry.....It's okay to wash here if you are a local and do not want to commute elsewhere or if you have 1 load to wash, or your in a rush and have to be somewhere. But other than that it's not the greatest and not the worst.....It is clean and in a safe location. read more

Cute little laundromat close to home. Wash prices are normal compared to other laundry places. They have super size dryers which I can throw about 4 loads of laundry into one and have it all dry in an hour for roughly $2 which is really nice. They also have super size washers which are a godsend for washing my comforters. Theres not a lot of traffic around the building which is nice because I don't feel scared to leave my clothes here while I run back to my apartment. There is limited seating here, as well as an arcade game. Theres a convenience store next door which is convenient if you have to stay for a while. Usually pretty empty through the week but jam packed on the weekends, as well as unbearably hot when its warmer and all the dryers are going. read more

This place is easily missable from its corner entrance when you're driving by. But it's a great place. Tons of machines, little traffic and everything worked generally well. The washers were great. The bottom dryers aren't the best. (One tumbled my clothes but never heated up.) in the end our clothes were clean and it didn't take very long. read more

When I don't have time to run to my in-laws' to do laundry - or when I have put it off so long I have 4+ loads - I've come to find this place as a nice little option. It's small, so it has the potential to be very crowded during peak times. Avoid Saturday and Sunday afternoons. But I rarely have issues early weekend mornings or weekday evenings. I think being set more in a neighborhood keeps it from being too well known, and most customers are pretty local. The major downside is that there are not a lot of seats, and the tight space can make it difficult when someone is trying to load the washing machine, another is folding clothes and someone else is trying to get down the same aisle to the dryers. But as another reviewer has said, coming in at a down time can really make Bellevue a good option when needed. read more

I was recently here to wash oversized items that I can't wash in my home laundry. I found this location on the internet. There are a a lot of extra large washers and dryers. The price per wash load was$4.50. The dryer was $1.50 for medium heat. It was very well lit, people were pretty friendly there was television, and I felt very safe. I'm lm giving it 4 stars because the card reader declined my debit card, and I'm sure it's because it has a chip versus a slide, good thing I had enough cash for the change machine read more

My washer-dryer gave up recently and I had to find a laundromat while it was being fixed. I found Bellevue Laundromat place on Yelp. There's plenty of washers/dryers here and I was able to find machines available on a weekend afternoon. You can hang out and read a book while your laundry is getting ready. I lost a couple of quarters on a faulty machine but I just had to call the owners and he figured out a way to refund me. There are a couple of different size of washers, you could choose to pay slightly more and use one of the larger washers if you have a huge load. This location is an easy to get to neighborhood, I found parking on the street around the corner. read more
