He was able to release the existing cylinder, remove the damaged tumblers, and return me something that I could reinstall on my classic 63 Fairlane. He gave excuses like it could be because of my car battery being too weak or that my stereo wasnt the original one from the car. He then went and put my original key in a machine and then put the dealer key in, he expected it to have a different reading, IT DIDNT, they matched exactly. He then tried a different computer and that one didnt work with making the copy either. Now, out 50 bucks he says he has other honda keys and that he would use one of those and make a new one for me for 80 more (needing a spare I agreed). Miraculously it worked (who would have thunk it, when hes able to charge extra it works and hes able to complete the job). I would go elsewhere for a key. I feel like he ripped me off just to sell me one of his. To make matters worse I saw a card on his counter from the same key supplier my dealer used...So I feel like everything he was saying about it being the wrong key is bull (especially after his own machine said the two matched)!.
