I knew it was an incorrect or an intentional misleading information, so I pressed against the $150 estimate she gave me and she admitted it's the lab fee, not the crown. BUT I ASKED ABOUT THE CROWN, NOT SOME RANDOM FEE. She kept refusing to give me an estimate but kept trying to sell me a "promo" to get scans first, among other things. RED FLAG!!! I believe I have finally found the one. Dr. Benson and his office staff were all very kind and respectful and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Dr. Benson will truly listen to all of your questions and take extra time making sure you feel comfortable and understand everything. His personality is also just amazing. He lights up the room when he walks in. If you're someone like me, who has felt anxiety about going to the dentist, having a provider who is a happy & caring dentist will change your whole experience. All of the fees and billing were made very clear from the beginning with no mysterious fees added afterward. In fact, I ended up paying less than originally quoted. The office itself was exceptionally clean and the waiting area was comfortable. The dentistry chair I was in had a lovely view and was rather relaxing. Usually people do not say that they had a great time at the dentist, but I had a blast. The staff....each and every one of them were just very down-to-earth and kind. Not a frown in the office. I only waited for about 10 mins after checking in. The lobby was immaculate and smelled wonderful. Oh, what I loved too was that you park and the door is right there. No hunting for the location and wandering around like a mad person in this heat. It was very easy to get to. So anyway.... I was taken back to the room, which was not closed off yet private enough that I did not feel the whole office was looking in my mouth. His assistant (Orianna...I remember the Anna part..sorry girl) asked me what brought me in and I explained all of my concerns. She made me feel comfortable with being really honest with her about my issues. She took x-rays and was super conversational in the process which continued to help calm my jitters. The doctor came in and ran a thorough review of my mouth and my x-rays. All I know is, the last dentist I visited was not as detailed with a game plan on how to get me back to 100%. He broke everything down in layman's terms. I was able to understand the what and the why to get us to a final outcome that we both would be happy with. I appreciate how willing they were to take the time to explain everything to me. I left with no unanswered questions and future appointments have been booked.
