Like many reviews down below, I too can protest to the owner of this place. I went here on a recommendation and was going to just get parts only but the owner coerced me into having my trailer serviced in person; which was a big mistake from the moment he opened his mouth and started talking to me. Brought in the trailer and simply asked what the approximate price was going to be, and he said he was going to spend the most money on the best parts possible but didn't seem to have a clue as to the final price then and there. I did not really appreciate not being told even a ballpark number. You'd think that after 42+ years Steve would have an idea but all he wanted to talk about was how costly it's going to be, the job would take a week, and what-not. Steve is like one of those people you fear talking to because he cannot keep his line of thought straight, reasonability, jokingly, and business tactic professionalism straight. Like a crazy person not taking their meds. With the rambling getting to me I become forwardly stern and stated several times that I would give him no blank check and needed an estimate as soon as possible before ANY work could start. Steve agreed and said some lady would call me by 8:30am the next morning. I exhaustedly left knowing this wasn't over. Next day I received no morning call and so I called at 9:30am and spoke with the service team (they are good people) and reminded them I needed a quote before work could start. At about 10am no more than 30m later I get a call with the price, and that the job was 95% completed already without asking and no way to turn back. I was astounded! Jaw dropped! The price was high too and not on my crosshairs. I did not sign for the work to start nor did I tell them to start nor did I have any idea what the costs would be. The owner Steve went against our conversation and told the techs to start, and so they finished. Think about it. You call on a service contractor to do a job, say build a deck in your backyard, and the job will not start without getting a quote signed off by you. Imagine coming home and the deck job was all complete before you even knew any detail at all! Omg right? Crazy. The problem stems from the owner. Steve is a Baby boomer who is still holding on but needs to retire and just get out of the way. His ramblings and wrongness and doings shown clearly on his person and acts. Don't know if he's bleached by the son, delusional from a health problem, or is just so used to getting blank checks from whomever doesn't care that he's breaking one off inside everybody. Steve should not be working and should be retired but since he's the owner he called the shots. He told his service team to start work without asking me as he previously discussed and agreed, then failed to do. When asked why this happened he didn't have an answer and said anyone else would have just had it done, or he'll revert all repairs. Only he couldn't do that without the help of his staff who stepped in and made the situation palpable. Buyer beware. High prices. Gouging tactics. Irresponsible business owner. The technicians are good people caught in the crossfire though which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. You are much better off going to Boyz n their Toyz (marine & trailer) or Spindrift (campers) on Cudjoe Key. They'll shoot straight with you 100% every single time. read more

They mounted and balanced my trailer tire on my rim and charged me $161.25. That is nearly twice what the tire cost.

I was warned NOT to come here. My boat trailer needed immediate repair and I couldn't take it out of town/elsewhere. I went over all of my options with the owner and we decided on a FULL boat trailer rebuild. 1 week $4k was our agreed deal. It involved removing my hyrdaulic brakes and not replacing them. My tires (6) were rotten, but without telling Jon I used another local business to replace my tires ($800). My decision. 3 weeks later at a $4,700 bill I guess we were done. I was left with a broken bow roller that never was replaced($35). I took the trailer back for a final fitting, which is normal, and Jon decided my boat only needed to rest on the 2 main rear bunks. No. Not at all acceptable. I spent 8 hours readjusting ALL of my bunks to properly fit my boat. It fits great now. Upon adjusting, I discovered about 70% of my nuts/bolts that were installed were not tight or not reasonably torqued. They were just on there at random degrees of tightness. I have an 8,000lb charter boat , aka my business operation, that needed to go on a 700 mile round trip and I was disgusted at the lack of care or any attention to detail that went into my job. The job was unfinished. Not everything broken was replaced. The untightened nuts were dangerous. My winch failed the next use and I had to cut the new winch strap on it's first use. My boat was balanced on the 2 rear bunks, never touching the 4 middle and front bunks, nor the center line keel rollers that were replaced on the trailer. I saved him $800 on tire cost and we went +$700 and 2 extra weeks over budget for a job that wasn't anywhere near complete or done properly. I was warned not to come here and I really learned why. You are better off recycling your broken boat trailer and buying a new one before you consider coming here. I worked with them 100% and they stuck it up my a$$ with a smile. You learn the hard way. Vacationing in Marathon and notice my boat trailer rear light was not working. Drove around town and found this place. Boy was it a bad decision not researching this business. Spoke with Steve and said easy fix drop off in the am. Showed up at 8am and was greeted by Jay and explained what's wrong with the trailer. I was told they would call me when done. Business closes at 5 no call so i call 415pm and she says come by its done. Upon arriving I notice right away he replaced the right rear light and did not replace any wiring. they said it took them 2 1 /2 hours to fix? what a joke. $362.00 later. Leave the place lights work. We go to the ramp to put the boat on. the next morning are leaving to head back to SW florida 5 1/2 car ride. We stopped in Key largo for fuel and notice the light is not working and full of water. I call and speak to Steve and asked what he had done to the trailer. he charged $362.00 for basically nothing I got my trailer back the way I dropped it off. Light does not work wiring still the same. I contacted my bank and fraud department and filed a complaint and they are proceeding to get the funds returned. Tried calling no answer left message and they returned 2 days later and offered a new light to ship to me. What a joke. Now i have to pay to get my lights done the right way again. Complete disregard for my vehicle! Car was delivered to shop November 23rd 2019 for a major breakdown. Was told of repair and cost, agreed and 6 mos. later i got my car back. Few days into returned car it goes back for an issue. Issue was they left the thermostat out... 48 hours later No call for pick up i go to find this damage to vehicle. Woman behind counter told me it was my fault for leaving the hood open... Now lets wrap our heads around after the diagnose, repair and road trip of the vehicle does then the mechanic find that i left the hood ajar and it flips back on the windshield... oh the windshield wasn't damaged hmmm Maybe you crushed the hood when you had the car on the lift. Business Owner has not called me. I will see you in court. read more

Extreamly unprofessional owner is not rational person did my trailer without giving me a price went back and they just did whatever they felt like and then-handed me a bill for 2700$ tried to talk to owner but didn't want to hear anything ! on my trip to Marathon my AC unit failed in my Navigator. I called Marathon Auto and Marine and they said bring it in today and they would diagnose the problem and have it fixed the next day. it needed a complete new. compressor. They called next morning with price and has it finished by 2 PM. I was very pleased with quick turnaround and AC worked great afterwards. read more
