I waited about 8 hours and got no call back about the car. The staff there took no initiative to make sure I was kept informed about my repair status the entire time they had the car. When they finally did call back, the woman giving me the estimate was just frankly telling me prices on stuff and told me they needed to do a ton of work totaling over $2400 on the car. I was given a "well that's the price" attitude when I questioned the costs. The service manager (Lisa) was better. At least she had the power to bend on the prices a bit. Just like every other aspect of a car dealership, prices are negotiable. She did go above and beyond to make sure my mess of an estimate was taken care of the day I brought the car in. The next day was absolutely wasted. I wanted to come up and look at the steering components and brake pads they wanted to replace. I drove 7 miles to get there, and the same woman from the previous day didn't bother to inform the mechanics that I wanted to look at stuff. When I got there, the car was assembled in the lot and I had basically wasted the effort in driving up there just to be strong-armed into saying "yes, do the repairs" without reviewing the parts they wanted to replace. I made them promise to save the brake pads for me so I could take a look at them after the fact. They also were talking about replacing 16 lug nuts. I told them to replace the one that needed it, and no more. The parts came in the next day (day 3 at this point), and I waited all day for a phone call that never came. Finally, I decided to call them up about 30 minutes before closing, and I was told they would call me right back. I got a call at 5 minutes to close saying "Your car is ready. You can come pick it up tomorrow." That's funny because I wanted to pick it up TODAY. I asked if it was at all possible to pick up that day, but apparently it's too much to ask for her to stay 5 minutes past closing on a Friday, considering I could have been up there a half an hour before if she had just called me back when she was supposed to. When I came back in the morning, they grabbed my paperwork and took it to the cashier. I was almost $200 over the estimate. I had to go back to the service counter to figure out what happened. They had ordered, replaced, and billed me for 16 lug nuts at roughly $150. I had to sit there while they corrected it. It was work I hadn't authorized. They also just completely forgot about the trunk strut I wanted replaced. So I left the place with another broken thing I'd asked to be repaired just not done... And they didn't give me my brake pads back, so I wasn't even able to review the one thing I'd ask to review. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the repair work was done well. Customer service is basically non-existent, though. I miss Crandall. They actually gave a crap.

Marco, the general manager, met me and told the service manager to fix whatever was wrong, no cost to me. The vehicle didn't have a warranty on it (which I was aware of) but they took great care of me. My wife is due for a new vehicle soon and we will be going here to get it. Customers for life.

My last used car dealership experience was in 2011 and it was a nightmare - so I was understandably hesitant to walk into Al Serra Pre Owned Vehicles. That feeling went away almost instantly - the salesperson I worked with (Justin F) greeted me with such genuine enthusiasm and seemed excited to find me a car I loved. Finding the car was easy - I was a difficult buyer to get approved for financing, though. Justin and Roby in billing both were so patient, kind and helpful. I felt like they really fought for me to be approved and ultimately they succeeded and were able to go above and beyond expectations with terms etc. I made sure to let them know in person, too, but I hope they see this review so they can hear it again - THANK YOU SO MUCH! I felt taken care of, appreciated and seen as an individual - not just another customer coming through the doors of a very busy dealership. I appreciate the positive experience and beautiful car I was able to drive away with!

We purposefully drive older vehicles ( insurance is cheaper with teen drivers) all with over 100,000 miles and 3 with over 200,000 miles. We live on dirt roads with potholes so our vehicles get the wear from that and teenage drivers. I have always been treated great. They are honest about when they can get to a vehicle which is generally within a couple of days but often the day of. They are honest about what needs to be done now and what could wait if financially we needed to wait a little longer..( never steered us wrong yet.) The owner, manager Ryan, and repair technician have never spoken down to me. They explain what was wrong and ask if I have any questions. When giving a quote they look up the cost of item in a book or online and then add Labor... Which I love because I know they are not just trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. I would just like to add in the the 8 years I've been using this auto repair service I've never spoken with a front desk person other than the owner or Ryan who are both males. I've never heard a swear word in the customer area. And my vehicles have never smelled like smoke. My gas is never lower than I would expect not the mileage. I will continue using the car repair place for all the issues that we are unequipped to handle ourselves.

Next morning, I pulled up and the vehicle was washed up again and everything had been prepped for my arrival. It was perfect!!!!
