The store was clean, everything was well stocked, and even with plenty of people coming through, the service was fast and organized. That's one thing I like about Buc-ee's. They can be extremely busy but somehow keep everything moving. I got the North Carolina BBQ sandwich, and I loved it. My wife enjoyed hers too. The food is one of the main reasons we stop at Buc-ee's instead of a regular gas station. There are so many options, and I really like seeing the new food and snack choices they continue to put out. Every time we stop, it seems like there is something different to try. The selection of Buc-ee's snacks, popcorn, crackers, jerky, sweets, and other items makes it hard to walk out with only what you came in for. Another thing I love is the cheap fountain drinks. When you're traveling and making several stops along the way, it's nice being able to grab a big drink without paying ridiculous prices. Of course, the bathrooms are another huge plus. They were clean and well maintained, which is something Buc-ee's has built its reputation on and one of the reasons it makes such a good road trip stop. Plenty of gas pumps, clean facilities, good food, tons of snacks, quick service, and just about anything you could need while traveling. Buc-ee's is more than a gas stop for us. I thought really, but then I was enticed to go in because of a fake cow under the price sign. I guess the question is why did that get me in the store lol. When I walked in I was impressed of the size, not Bucee big but much larger than it looks out side. It resembled the size of a Wawa. It was more organized than a Wawa. It has the massive fountain and slurrpee machine most new gas rations now have and the variety of snack were plentiful. The aisles were nice and wide. They had a massive walk-in beer cooler ( which they call the beer barn), but also a 8 foot craft beer cooler case. I never saw so many kinds of craft beer available at a gas station. The store was very clean and the bathrooms were modern, clean and spacious. They also have a restaurant Calloways in the gas station. I will review this separately, but it had ample seating and help at the counter. The best was the Gas was as cheap as Costco. I don't know if that will be always, but it was the day I went. I definitely will be going back to eat and get gas with great prices like that.

It's because everybody in the shop was not wearing face masks. Not a care in the world wether they spread their lung droplets all over the enclosed area. This place is disgusting. Dropped by to fill up on my Shell/Kroger Rewards card this morning. Unfortunately, the automatic…read moreshutoff did not work and about a gallon of gas poured over my car and the gas pump area. I went to report this to the store clerk, who seemed clueless as to what to do. When I made a demand that he attend to cleaning it up, he went to the back to fetch someone. About a half hour later, I dropped by again to see if indeed it had been cleaned up. It had not cleaned up and when I asked if they could at least put some cat litter on the spill to absorb the gas, he said he didn't have any and next time he went to the bank, he'd pick some up. He was obviously more interested in talking to his hunting buddies than attending to the problem at hand. I will never go into this gas station again!!
