This review is long overdue. I found Steve on Yelp in December just after the fed raised interest…read morerates. My wife and I wanted to buy a new home and fast. I contacted Steve and right away he put my mind at ease, which is not a small feat. He explained the different options, conventional, FHA, borrower PMI, Lender PMI, etc. and put no pressure on me what so ever. He also was extremely efficient and knowledgeable with regards to estimated closing costs and quick with advice on how to save money on things like title insurance and homeowners insurance. As luck would have it we fell in love with a home at the end of December and Steve and his team sprung into action. They moved so quick and had everything set up perfectly. He found us an amazing rate the next day and had an offer letter ready the next day as well. Long story short we closed on the house 25 days later, seriously, 25 days later and this is with the new year and MLK day in between. I had expected it to take double that time but Steve absolutely came through for us. And his estimated closing and cash to close numbers were spot on and less than the realtor estimated. Steve is an awesome lender. My only complaint is that he couldn't be our realtor as well because with someone like Steve on your side there is almost no need for one. If you are reading this then do not hesitate to contact Steve, especially if you are like me and have a million questions and feel the need to text and call randomly as thoughts come to you... sorry Steve. But really, this is who you want to use for your next loan. Thanks Steve!

Absolutely awful. I could write a book…read more My mother had two checks stolen and washed. One was a Citizens Bank check, the other a PNC check. Citizens Bank just a couple blocks up the road had it all resolved within a month. PNC, now a YEAR later, still hasn't resolved the issue. It took more than 6 months to get the stolen money refunded (every week they swore it would be handled in a few days). But week after week after week, still no money. We were called in to fill out just one more bit of paperwork and then it would be resolved. Nope. Asked in again to fill out more paperwork and then it'd be resolved. Still nope. We had another employee take over and said regardless what happened before she actually does know how to fix it, it's easy and we don't need to be there. She would just call the next day to let us know it was FINALLY finished..... well next day came and went. We called ourselves and of course - NOT RESOLVED. Once our money actually was refunded, 6 months or more later, we are told the old account isn't closed yet for some safety reasons. But my mom is now getting notices in her email every day of every week about the frozen account, and getting charged FEES for it. The bank has covered those fees but then there are just more fees later on and our email account is just swamped in these pointless emails. We tried calling over and over about this only to get answering machines. We rarely get any callbacks or any form of communication back at all. When we go into the bank for other reasons to talk to other people or if we finally hear from the people we need to speak to on the phone, the excuses always the same: they were on vacation. Maybe not their fault as much but I don't know why they don't enforce it more... Their parking lot is right across the street from a school, and when school lets out, all of those parking spaces are filled up by parents picking their kids up. My mother has been a customer since the 80s. We pay for a safety deposit box (the only reason she's still with them now). PNC is an absolute unmitigated disaster.
