From my initial dealings with Ben (CEO) and Alec (COO), who are the Co-Founders, I was able to get answers to all of my questions with concrete answers. They were also extremely responsive, providing pre-approval and approval letters within minutes, an absolute necessity in this housing market. Ben assisted me in locking in a rate that, by the time we reached closing, saved me more than $600/month in interest! As the process continued, I worked with Melissa, Director of Loan Production in gathering all of the financial documents and information to secure my loan. We had an outstanding experience with Ben and the crew at MortgageCS. They helped us find the right home loan and carried us through the process from initial application until closing. When I say "carried" I mean it. Their involvement was so much more than simply guiding us. They made it happen. But let me back up a little. After signing the contract for the house we were buying, and applying for a loan through a popular online lender, we were less than 2 weeks until closing when we were told we would not be approved for a reason we found outlandish and unfair. The information the lender was basing their decision on, that one of us was retiring soon, had been known to them early on in the application process. Yet it took them 5 weeks to let us know this was a problem?! The lender advised us to start the application process over again.
