Paul's trusted foreman Ramon and his crew worked extremely hard, they did not cut any corners and took pride in their work. After three days my backyard was totally transformed. I am extremely grateful I met Paul and his team. I highly recommend you hire Paul for any landscaping need. In case you are wondering Paul removed my old grass and weeds, installed St Augustine sod, cleanup my slope and plann, trimmed my trees and removed some palms that were damaging my brick wall. Installing sod is a process labor task when done right. You have to kill all the old grass and weeds and then remove it all until all you have dirt. Once that is done you work on the irrigation system to ensure you have water spread out evenly all throughout the ground with proper drainage. Finally, you add fertilizer to the soil and then lay down the sod which is best installed the same day it was cut. Check out my before and after pictures.

Adam was amazing at coordinating all the many jobs to be done. We are so pleased with the work, Mario did such a thorough job, he works hard and with precision. The concrete driveway and curbing came out so beautifully. We love our new DG pathway with the mower's edge curbing. They filled our horseshoe driveway with 3/4 crush rock and we've gotten so many compliments from our neighbors. They installed an automatic irrigation system, which makes life much easier not to have to worry about turning water off and on. We opted for single trunk Crepe Myrtle trees in every color available. They all look great and have acclimated well to their new home, even in this heat. The work was completed in three weeks. Fast, clean, reliable workmanship and just a fine young man in charge of multitasking and handling it all. There were a couple of minor issues that we easily worked through. Communication was easy and the overall price was right! Thank you Adam and your team for making our home look welcoming and improving the curb appeal!

Beware dishonest business!! Also check Google reviews…read more Santiago was punctual and very friendly on the initial estimate. I paid for half the job up front and the remainder was due at completion. The job was started on the day we agreed upon. Unfortunately that's where the positives stopped. He removed the old dead sod from having our pool installed. During that process he cut and destroyed the sprinkler wire going to my valves, which I had pointed out to him prior to starting the job. He denied destroying the wire and I finally just said fix it which cost me an additional $200. Long story short, he sloppily finished the job and demanded immediate payment. I told Santiago when I get home from work and have an opportunity to look at the job I will pay him. I got home and checked the sprinklers and they didn't work. I called Santiago and requested he come fix them. Again, refusing to take any responsibility and poor customer service, stated they all worked when he left and it must be my fault or the brand new controller was bad. I explained this to him but he still refused to come out. When I was younger (I'm old now), I used to install sprinklers and I was able to diagnose the sprinkler issue. It was a simple fix and that's what is so disappointing about Santiago is that he wouldn't come fix a loose ground wire, that would've taken less than 5 minutes. I paid Santiago in full, which I shouldn't have until he came back and fixed the sprinklers but since fixing the ground wire was a simple fix and I didn't feel like arguing with him again. The bottom line is I just didn't want him anywhere near my house again and I'll have to hire someone else to redo the sloppy job that was done on my slope. I really believe if I would have paid him up-to 90% of the total, like he asked for after the first day of work, I wouldn't have seen him again, so BEWARE!!

Update 9/22/15. I…read morereceived a follow up phone call from Santiago today. He was inquiring about our recent experience and to discuss my review. FIRST IMPRESSION: It's always a good thing when a business calls you back curious about how they did. This shows compassion and that they care about their customers and the experience they had. Santiago asked how we were doing and how the backyard was looking. I told him that we are doing fine and the backyard still looks as awesome as it did when it was done the first time. THE REVIEW: We then talked about the review I posted on Yelp. He was happy to hear that the review was mostly positive but was concerned with the two major negative experiences we had. 1) Communication - He said explained that he was a little late due to getting his equipment ready and things like that and also that his crew began work immediately upon arrival which they did. He went on to say when he gives his word that it can be counted on. To that I say that since this is our first time doing business with his company we have nothing to go on as far as that is concerned. Nonetheless, at the end of the day the work got done as promised and in the time we were told which is what matters to us. All I will say is that it would be nice to know this ahead of time so we aren't wondering IF or when exactly they are going to show up. 2) PAYMENT I'm going to keep this short and say that at the end of the day it comes down to a convenience for your customers. If we can have your preferred method of payment ready to go it makes for a smoother transition and better experience. FINAL THOUGHTS: I was honestly surprised to get a follow up call. I just assumed that since everything was worked out there would be no more to discuss about it. I'm glad he did call though it shows something that is rare in businesses today at that is care for their customers. One would think that would be something every company would just automatically have but sadly it's not. After thinking it over the two major negatives weren't really negatives looking back. Sure, things could have been much smoother but it isn't anything keeping me up at night so to speak. We ended the call with the infamous question about future business. Considering everything I would definitely go to Santiago and his crew whenever he next time we need someone to manage the "jungle". Not that we are in any hurry to have the backyard in that condition. But if we do need future landscaping care and the yard maintained they are the first on our list. Like I said in my original review their work ethic is without question. Those guys busted their butts to get our yard looking so awesome and weed free. It makes me so happy to look back there everyday and NOT see overgrown weeds and such. Like I told Santiago it's the small things that add up to make the biggest difference. Calling back to follow up with us was one of those small things. Keep up the great work and until next time (but not too soon though ;) ) I added one star back for calling back to follow up with us. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely changed my impression. The cashier was not friendly and seemed impatient, which made the process uncomfortable and disappointing. The nursery does offer fair pricing and a wide selection of plants, which I appreciated. However, customer service--especially at checkout--is just as important. Because of this experience, I will likely choose to shop somewhere else next time.

Made my job so much easier. The grass was beautiful from the beginning. It made a huge difference to my houses curb appeal , and has held up to this day. I installed it in March.
