I believe that Village Salvage may be the preeminent historic lock distributor in the country. And not only do they have the largest selection but they have amazing customer service. Can't say enough about the team at Village Salvage. Both Eben and Debbie went out of their way to accommodate me and help me with my order. I didn't have to over explain and they provided exactly what I needed. They were very confident and very professional. Such a great experience. And most importantly the locks arrived totally restored and in great working condition. Will be back any time I need a historic lock.

The shop was in a bit of a remodel stage when we were there, but they had everything well organized and were very helpful. In the back they had wood, door and stained glass. While nothing was cheap, I did think the prices seemed fair. My wife chatted with the owner and he said he could fix old door locks. They had plenty of old door knobs and old locks if you just want to replace them. I will definitely have to come back with some projects in mind and a vehicle to load stuff into. One of the highlights in the Waynesville antique scene.
