Delay #4. I haven't even had the countertop installed yet, and I'm so frustrated with the customer service and lack of communication. After multiple attempts to perform a simple three piece install, this company can't seem to get it together. 1st attempt, they failed to show on a Friday. After some back and forth phone conversations they planned to show on Monday. Well, Monday comes and they fail to show up a second time, blaming the installer for not showing up to work. Now I'm at the mercy of them to show up for a third time. They show up, and then leave, claiming they don't have time. I've now taken 3 separate days off work. We'll see if they show up tomorrow or I'm calling for a refund. Fingers crossed people. read more

Pretty sad about the services and professionalism. Great counter tops but horrible customer service. The poor works get worked like they are super heros. Personally I could install by myself with a better attitude than the office employees. read more

We did a complete kitchen remodel in May of 2018 and had Pietra do our granite counter tops. Penny was awesome. She gave us rough quotes based on my husbands measurements and the grades of granite we could choose from. We went and picked out the three slabs of granite at the warehouse. Penny helped us determine the best layout to really show the granite pattern the best on our counters. They came and did a professional measure. The price quote was finalized. A few weeks later our counters were installed by super polite professional installers. The kitchen turned out beautiful and the counters are a show stopper. Would highly recommend Pietra and will definitely use them again for our next project. read more

After going back and forth four for two weeks trying to get a quote Penny finally emailed a quote with a totally one sided contract . Nothing in the quote or contract was specific. Wording we would pay if measurement where inaccurate but no reference to what measurements are quoted. Wording they are not responsible for delays, seams, color etc. Zero commitments, no dates of any type, nothing. I emailed and ask them to give me quoted measurements and some kind of commitment dates and I've received zero reply. However, I'm suppose to give them my credit card. You would have to be an idiot to use this company. Just my two cents, I hope you have a better luck. read more

I purchased a counter top to be installed by Pietra Naturale and it was the worst customer service and installation service I have ever experienced! Many delays, poor communication, a faulty seam and incorrect installation, no follow-up or ownership of the mistakes by Ikea or the installation company. It was a battle to get a refund and I was told no one would be removing the mis-alligned counter-top and "it was mine to keep". After spending more money to have it removed, we now have a beautiful counter top from another company. I will never shop at Ikea or use Pietra Naturale again and was extremely disappointed in the service, product, and how I was treated as a customer! read more

It's a pleasure to write a happy review. Lady was very nice when we called to make initial appointment to have some chips in our granite countertop repaired. Continued to be very pleasant when we had to call and reschedule. She gave us approximate cost right up front. Tech who showed up was right on time, very nice and personable. He did a great job of repairing the chips along the edge of our countertop where it had been banged and dinged---you can't even tell it happened. He pointed out that one of our issues along the sink was that the original manufacturer had made the edge too sharp and that made it fragile, but that he could round it off a bit to resolve the issue. When we worried that using a machine to round it would make too much dust, he said he could do it by hand and make less dust and that's exactly what he did! (A lot of extra work!) When he left, our countertop looked as flawless as it did when it was installed four years ago. We got charged exactly what was estimated. It was an all-around good experience and I am happy to recommend! read more

There are many reasons for my unhappiness that I chose this company to install a new granite countertop and backsplash in my kitchen so I'll stick to the main reasons for other buyers to beware. These people NEVER answer their phones even during business hours. You have to leave voicemail messages or emails that rarely get returned. That should have been my first clue of trouble to come but I thought it might be because they were busy or shorthanded. It took 2 months after I signed my contract for my granite to be released and I kept having to call/email to find out why and when they would finally get started. I was ONE day's notice to come and approve my template before fabrication which wasn't convenient since I live in Northern Cincinnati and the fabrication shop is in South Dayton. Then when they finally came to install the granite, they damaged my under sink reverse osmosis water filter and tried to blame it on its age (even though it has a 24 year warranty and was only 7 years old). After much wrangling (and these were not pleasant exchanges) between me and the owner (Chip Carnavale) it was agreed that they would pay for repairing my water filter. After sending 1 plumber and 1 staff service person to my home and wasting 2 weeks of being without water in my kitchen, not to mention the leaking water this "mistake" caused, I finally called a plumber myself and got the problem repaired and told the owner I would deduct the cost from my final invoice. I was then told that they wouldn't be able to install my backsplash sealer until I paid $150 extra for it until I emailed them a copy of my contract that showed my quote included the backsplash sealer. I was then told I had to pay them an additional payment before they would come finish the job. So I again drove to South Dayton to pay them so I could get my backsplash sealing completed. And oh by the way, I ended up having to repair and repaint my walls where they tore off the old countertop and left plaster showing. So all in all, the granite I chose at Mont Granite is beautiful, the fabrication was excellent and the tile I bought from Home Depot and had them install is gorgeous. BUT I sure wish i had been treated like a customer who had through no fault of mine encountered issues during installation that turned this project into a headache and major stress I never expected and wouldn't wish on anyone. My advice would be to find another installer that has better customer service and actually appreciates your business. read more
