Used marble law for custody case and Chris was assigned. Seemed ok in the beginning but took almost 3 months to start the process with the courts. Recently on april 10th opposing party file documents which needed me to fill out. He sent me documents 3 months later after right before we had to appear in court for these missing documents. Its been over a year and half and still no court date and havent seen my kids in 4 months. He stated he would reach out to opposing parties attorney and see about setting up temp time sharing (which never happened) I ended up leaving for a better attorney. The service is absolutely horrendous and keep away from the service he provides. Marble has refunded partial payment which they sent to a account i closed out and have to wait on a check in the mail vs returning it to the account i paid that service from. Upon asking for a for a detailed billing i was presented with simple complete or incomplete of services i paid for. Customer service from marble seemed good but lack of good attorney/representation make the service useless and a waste of my money and time. read more

Scam, they charge you for services and before they complete anything, I've had to finance 2 more agreements and after about a year, nothing has been completed. They just c9ntacted me about another agreement and being 10-15k into this and no results, we will not be continuing anything with them. Paid 2x typical atty fee for help filing paperwork that requires an atty. They made repeated mistakes, took weeks to call back, had me to resend information that they'd already received, causing significant delays and then told me I had to pay another 2400 for the extension if I wanted to step this up. When I refused, siting their culpability and telling them THEY were responsible for dragging out for months what should have taken weeks had it been done correctly. They insisted I pay or they were going to stop service - which is what they did! I am going to file a formal complaint AND research class action recourse. read more

I don't know how this company has been able to obtain as many stars as they currently have on Trust Pilot. In speaking with other attorneys, they spoke horribly about the process (or lack thereof) which really reflected my own experience from start to finish. The only person that is accessible to you is the person in charge of collecting your payment. My case is related to family law/child custody. We have a trial and a pre-trial that is coming up at the end of this week. I finally heard back from the attorney who was assigned to me, last Friday (today is Tuesday). He thought less than a week was ample time to prepare for a pre-trial and a trial. I have no words. My family case is complex and we needed an expert witness and other witnesses. All of this was laid out when engaging with Marble. All of this was specifically relayed to the attorney the first week in October. He gave me homework and requests that I completed within a day. I never heard back from him until this past Friday. My case managers keep changing. I don't think they even know how to help me. There are no defined processes for escalation besides "let me have a think" / "I will look into this." I was way too nice in the beginning until I realized that they are NOT doing this for free and they are not my friend. This is a business that I am paying for a service in an area that I cannot drop the ball on. Marble has no oversight on lawyers they "co-counsel" with. This means they find an attorney near you whom they have a weak relationship with and outsource you to him, despite informing you that you will have a case manager and a paralegal in addition to your attorney assigned to your case. Despite my multiple and repeated attempts to reach the attorney, no one at Marble was concerned. I also could not get anyone to pick up the phone. I had to schedule multiple requests online for a new consultation in order to get someone to call me back. This really felt like a scam. If I can save anyone a headache or trouble by not going with them, please listen to me. You do not want to be in my shoes, without representation, on a pre-trial before a judge and an aggressive opposing counsel. They left me out to dry. I have requested my money back. Not once have my concerns been validated but instead, I was provided with "I am going to look into this" only to not hear back from anyone. This company is a total scam. I was trying to get a child custody modification in Georgia for a 14 year old. They wanted $3300 up front and told me that this would take care of the 30 day status call and the follow up on mediation. The attorney they appointed was incompetent. Not only did she not ask or answer questions about my case but she never responded to emails or phone calls. After the 30 days status call with the judge she sent me an email that I would have to call Marble to discuss further charges. Marble told me that she would represent me for the mediation but she somehow did not get the memo and refused to reply to me. I asked Marble for a disengagement and total refund. Marble only refunded $1400 which means the attorney for around 2 hours of work was paid $1900. Cynthia Hawes was the attorney and she should be disbarred for her incompetence, and hopefully the insurance commissioner of Georgia will ban Marble from practicing in this state. read more

The Attorney Jennifer Labbe failed to submit evidence I gave her, didn't call the witness, and came 25 minutes late to the hearing. No surprise I got crushed. No one would reimburse me anything. I'm currently having a terrible experience!! On short notice, they've decided to reassign my case to a different attorney because the one they assigned to me was horrible! and it appears that they had decided to part ways with him. They emailed me an agreement form to sign for a new attorney by the time I was able to check my email it had expired. I reached out to them for almost a month to get a new link sent to me or to speak with someone regarding moving forward. Despite my attempt to speak with an attorney who could advise me about my case. I was only able to speak to a personnel from their customer support team (every time I got to someone they would tell me that I should receive a call within 1 to 3 days and I never got one). To make matters worse! I got an email notifying me that they are unable to find an attorney to take my case to finalize the two service I paid for and that I should seek legal counsel elsewhere!! After learning this, I got frustrated and sent them a text asking for my money back or for the service to be completed which is when they started to send me an automated text Stating " you have no outstanding agreements" my marriage is still not dissolve. I even called their support team who confirmed that both the services I paid for was marked as incomplete. Now they are basically telling me to go away and get help somewhere else. I'm hoping this issue will be resolved as I'm already in a terrible situation going through a divorce. I now I have to deal with Marble Law basically scamming me out of the service they agreed to provide after taking my hard earn money. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IT IS A SCAM This was completely misrepresented when I signed up on 4/17. The lawyer that drew up my settlement agreement. I had to make several edits before the email was sent. When I asked what was next as my ex had filed a response in court, I was told that I would have to pay more money. When I canceled I expected to pay some of the $2200 that was originally quoted but they are saying that 1 email was worth $1699. The only other option they gave was to "try" to assign me to another lawyer but my confidence was already shot with them. Note to whoever from Marble Law is hired to respond to bad reviews with a watered down rational, just keep in mind that your 1.4 star review record existed before I posted my story. YOU WILL BE OVERCHARGED WITH MARBLE LAW! Especially if you realize early on that you should run from Marble ASAP. Now that my divorce is complete I have the wisdom to realize that this company preys on the overwhelming emotions and fear of someone preparing for divorce. In my case they charged a large amount up front BEFORE YOU EVEN GET STARTED. At that point you don't have any idea what the process is, how Marbel will help or perform, and what will be required. In the end, I only filled out the intake form, that's it. Just an intake form, and my settled charges from Marble was over $2500 (down from over $4000). They provided zero services. None. Yet, Marble tells me that legal services have been rendered. No documents were filed by Marble, no advice given, not even 1% of my case was established or completed by Marble. Yet I still had to pay Marble pay thousands on top of the adequate services of a local atty. In the end, my biggest advice of someone who has finally completed my divorce is to take a deep breath, NOT call Marble, and find a local attorney who will guide you and support you. If you are worried about costs, you are not alone. Just realize every dollar you pay an attorney is a dollar well spent. If I could leave zero stars I would. One of the worst experiences of my life. Impossible to get ahold of, didn't give a crap about my case. My lawyer literally said "I don't need to talk to you or know anything about you to argue a basic child support case". My judge chastised my lawyer for not asking for more money for me. Because my lawyer didn't know what was going on because he refused to have a conversation with me. Barely said a word in court, except to ask for the minimum child support, which the judge immediately shot down as too little money. it was embarrassing. Thankfully I lucked out with the judge because marble tried to screw me over. You'd be better off representing yourself. I had to hassle them to file my paperwork, to serve my ex, to do anything. These people are coming off as con artists and scammers. On Friday I set an appointment for a 20 minute "strategy session" with an attorney for Tuesday. I changed my mind for now, canceled the session, and saw on the portal that the session was canceled and approved for a refund.  I kept getting reminders for tomorrow's appointment despite the fact that I canceled and screenshot the message. I called to ensure A. The session was canceled B. That I would get my refund.  They conveniently kept trying to stall, repeating the same points, transferring me, then putting me on hold, and finally hung up on me. I have not received an email confirming my cancellation, as advised on the 800 number. They are scam artists. STAY AWAY.  I will definitely now not go with them moving forward, and will be filing complaints with BBB and others, along with contesting the charge with my bank. read more

Marble law passes your case over to lawyers who need help gaining clientele. Had I known this I would not have paid for my service, I'd have gone to another lawyer firm. I was under the impression that marble law was a firm who had their own associates/lawyers/attorneys not that they picked low level attorneys from out of a hat. I had an initial consultation that went very nicely with a marble law rep.... Then I had another consultation with who would be my attorney and I had to repeat everything I had already told them and that they had "written down to pass to the attorney that would handle my case" ... that attorney made me repeat myself so many times and asked me the same questions everytime we spoke as if it was the first time we were communicating so I decided to email only. EVEN THEN I had to resend the same emails. It was annoying. I also felt like they made me do most of my own work anyways, what the hell did I pay 7,000 for!!! read more

After multiple phone calls and emails she sent me a fake affadvit that i reported to the Texas Bar. Currently Jasmine Thompson and Julie Gray from Marble are under investigation. (I will be more than happy to post the letters) When I requested my money back I was blocked from calling into the Marble customer service line so I read our contract, contact the Jams Arbitration and behold I got my money back. I am having the exact same problem that everyone else seems to have here. If you're a potential customer, then your emails and texts/calls will get answered right away. After you pay though, you will get ignored. The person in charge of my case even went as far as to suggest that I did something that would completely go against my case and help my opponent... I have never experienced something so unprofessional... Seriously, if you have the money, go somewhere else. This place does not care about you. ------UPDATE AS OF 9/18/22------ I was contacted by Kenya (as most of us here do), but she was still not easy to speak to, I would leave voice and text messages to her. When she did eventually get to call me, I got the usual apologies and that discount that everyone else here is getting. But guess what? The main problem persisted, my lawyer Nicole was still avoiding me and Nicole was still suggesting that I took out financial responsibilities from my official statement due to the nature of them getting paid. I asked for a new attorney and they said that they would get on it. Two weeks go by, radio silence. I kept calling them and texting them over and over. Kenya here would tell me "Oh don't worry. Nicole will be reaching out to you today!" This happened about three different times until I received an email stating "Marble PC and LSP have represented you pursuant to a Marble Agreement you signed on 7/13/2022. Unfortunately, the difficulties we have experienced in communicating with you have, and this has led us to conclude that we can no longer represent you. This email confirms that we have decided to terminate further representation of you in connection with the Family Law related matter described in the Marble Agreement. Therefore, effective as of today's date, we are withdrawing as legal counsel in connection with all matters, and our attorney-client relationship has ended." These "difficulties" were entirely made by this firm's inability and/or unwillingness to simply call me and talk to me. I had to chase them so hard and I never got a callback. Seriously, 1 star is too high for this place. I thought to myself that perhaps Nicole here was simply sexist and that she did not really want to help out a man in his case for custody and child support. But it turns out, according to most reviews for this place, that Marble is an equal incompetence service that will ignore their clients after taking their money. I hired Tammy Akers through Marble Law-neither of which I would recommend. I paid $5000 for a RESPONSE to a petition of divorce. When it recently came time to do mediations-I was told by both marble and Tammy that the service was not included and was completely blindsided. When I talked to Tammy, she advised to talk to Marble. When I talked to Marble, they advised to talk to Tammy. I feel completely used, disregarded, and out of the loop in MY OWN case. I have been working with Tammy since June- Not once have I met her. She was difficult the entire time to get ahold of, her paralegal team was not friendly anytime I called, Tammy missed meetings, and wouldn't respond to me for almost WEEKS at a time. I went into her office one time to sign papers-and they didn't even have the correct address on google! So as a single mom, with her 4 year old, was sent to two different places. (small side note-but shows how irresponsible this office really was) To her credit, she tried to make it right once or twice, but it seemed that every time she would try to make it right, she would follow it up with another wrong pretty short there after-and I would be brought to tears from how upset I was again and again. I am disappointed in Tammy and her team, and am disappointed in Marble law. In my opinion, I would steer clear of both of them if you are seeking legal help-you won't find it here. read more

Five months later quick update my attorney went to court in may for my RFO and I've been waiting since then for the paperwork so I can file for custody and according to my attorney that my transfer of case has been granted but so far I havnt received anything ! The Marble Way is to take your money and ignore you. The first lawyer they assigned me started the conversation by yelling at me for not knowing how to respond to my case. Well, that's why I hired a lawyer to explain my case to me. She intentionally did not file the response to the court and now I am dealing with the fall out and having to take off several days from work to deal with this mess. She did this willfully and maliciously. When I tried to reach out to my case manager, Austin Aguon, and all he does is ignore me. I have never spoken to my case manager and I have reached out several times. Worse, good luck trying to contact Marble. Try finding a useful working number for them. I feel like this is all a scam. I posted a review about a week ago about my negative experience with Marble Law, they gave me an option to either cancel out and pay "some fees" or request a new attorney. since they could not give me an estimate of the fees (partially understandable) I requested a transfer of attorney. Mind you I had one maybe 10-minute video call with my attorney 2 months ago, no update since then and when I finally got ahold of her, she said I needed to submit a form to get started that she had previously told me not to sign. I was told if I transferred to another attorney, I would not have to pay any extra fees which seemed better to me than paying the fees to cancel when nothing had been done for me to begin with. Today I get back from my cruise where I was not reachable by phone to fee of $2600 approx. in fees for a cancellation that I DID NOT REQUEST. I requested a consultation for a family lawyer. I did not know that it would be limited scope representation. For that, I did not proceed with representation. Additionally, I received a phone call from the financing department and the person speaking to me kept calling me Veronica, which is not my name. I found that to be very unprofessional but could just be a genuine mistake. 3 stars are mostly for the intake and consultation I had. The intake was smooth and I was scheduled with an attorney immediately. The consultation was a great strategy session, brought new perspective and was definitely worth the $49. But as mentioned earlier I am not looking for limited scope representation. Side note is I was double charged for my consultation. The company handled this immediately and issued a refund.
