The reliance on an off -shore call center is a huge red flag with this company. Law firm should be used loosely with Marble. Once you select the services and pay this is where you may get ensnared in their lack of consultation in a timely manner and being forced to deal with a call center and horrible virtual chat. The customer service reps are really there for payment because your case concerns are never addressed. They are an excellent barrier for a legal team that doesn't want to really deal with clients personally. This company's operations should be investigated. I hired Marbel Law on 10/31/2023 to replace a law firm that was not acting on my behalf in response to a Divorce filed by my ex-spouse in February of 2023. After paying an initial consultation fee, I took out a personal loan for an initial down payment and have made regular payments to date. My initial call from my assigned attorney was scheduled, missed, and then rescheduled. After discussing the case history with my assigned attorney, I was assured that she could handle the case and adequately represent me. The call lasted less than 10 minutes and was completed in the first week of November 2023. Trouble began in February of 2024 with the receipt of a letter from the opposing counsel regarding a stipulation agreement that was signed the previous year from the sale of a joint property. I sent the letter to my assigned attorney and notified opposing counsel of my new attorney's contact information. Since then, it has become a battle to get anything communicated correctly, timely, or consistently, promises made by the assigned paralegal and attorney and not acted upon, and having to act on my own behalf to resolve issues until I had had enough that I filed a complaint with Marbel. In June of 2023, I requested a follow-up with my attorney regarding the aforementioned stipulation via email, and after no reply, I sent a follow-up email on July 2nd informing my assigned attorney that I would be reaching out to opposing counsel. My assigned attorney called me immediately afterward requesting that I do not reach out to opposing counsel and after explaining the situation to her, she said she would counter by drafting a stipulation on my behalf. Further communication from my attorney indicated that she had been in contact with the opposing counsel who initially agreed with the stipulation that had supposedly been drafted. On November 15th, I sent an email to Marbel Support regarding inaction, lack of communication and concerns over how my case was being mishandled. I was assigned a Client Representative who was working as an intermediary between me and my legal team. From this, I came to the conclusion that I was being gaslighted by both sides and what the assigned attorney had informed me was totally different from what the client representative from Marbel was telling me. On 12/17/2024, I received a voicemail from my Marbel representative that my attorney would be calling me on the Monday after the holidays. Not surprisingly, this never occurred. On February 6th, 2025, I reached out to the court that was assigned to my case and a clerk was able to help me access a Case Summary and list of events, fees paid, and activities. To my surprise, the court has me listed as Pro Se without legal representation. Important filing dates and responses have been missed, certified mail to me from the court was returned as undeliverable, and there is a hearing scheduled for 2/21/25. I have requested a Master Bill that shows everything that was performed, invoiced, and paid to date but have been told that services rendered are available on the client website which it is not. Upon the initial intake fee, you are lured into a solace that they are there to help you. After your contracted co-counsel attorney consult, they report back to Marbel estimated cost. Marbel Finance takes the estimated cost, and adds surplus fees and percentage fees for a total cost. Then they will contact you and set up a down payment and finance schedule. Once you have made your down payment, they set you up with a portal account so you can upload your documents via onboarding exercises to keep you busy thinking you have found helpful representation. Once onboarding is complete and they have received your first payment, the only real communication you receive is from the finance department informing you of when and how much is expected for your next monthly payment. Choosing a legal representative is a decision of immense trust and expectation. I was seeking diligent, empathetic, and competent legal representation, which at this time, is severely lacking from Marbel Law. As with others who have posted, and in retrospect, I have concluded that Marbel is not a legitimate law firm despite marketing itself as such. Instead, they act as a referral service. Some of the most incompetent "lawyers" i've ever had the misfortune of trying to work with. My first "strategy session" was held with Brain Park who had genuinely no knowledge of the 15+ evidence screenshots I sent OR my case in general, and actually had the nerve to get irritated with me when I called him out for not being prepared for our call. So I asked for a different attorney. My second strategy session was actually 20 minutes ago, and the reason I'm typing this review. Brain Vogel called me and immediately created a 3 way call with another attorney that I was not informed about, after being put on hold for 5 minutes while they "gathered my documents", they asked to call me back. Once i received said call back, they asked to reschedule my session AGAIN. at that point I lost all desire to work with this absolute circus of a legal firm. When originally signing up for Marble's services, they continued to increase fees and increase fees and increase fees all stating this was a separate issue in each case but ALL was directly related to the reason why we reached out to them for their services. We are now almost 10,000 in debt to them, 50/50 visitation and ordered to pay $1700 in child support with the other party only having the kids 2 weeks a month! Final orders have been signed as the attorney assigned to us (an inexperienced one) advised is that this was the best they could do. We have since had a consultation with another attorney that stated our final orders are complete garbage and she is equally as confused as to how we are ordered to pay any child support with the 50/50 visitation. We will now be going back to court for the same matter to get the orders fixed. It's truly devastating to hear we spent all of that money for literally poor and mismanaged services. Paid 2x typical atty fee for help filing paperwork that requires an atty. They made repeated mistakes, took weeks to call back, had me to resend information that they'd already received, causing significant delays and then told me I had to pay another 2400 for the extension if I wanted to step this up. When I refused, siting their culpability and telling them THEY were responsible for dragging out for months what should have taken weeks had it been done correctly. They insisted I pay or they were going to stop service - which is what they did! I am going to file a formal complaint AND research class action recourse. read more

I don't know how this company has been able to obtain as many stars as they currently have on Trust Pilot. In speaking with other attorneys, they spoke horribly about the process (or lack thereof) which really reflected my own experience from start to finish. The only person that is accessible to you is the person in charge of collecting your payment. My case is related to family law/child custody. We have a trial and a pre-trial that is coming up at the end of this week. I finally heard back from the attorney who was assigned to me, last Friday (today is Tuesday). He thought less than a week was ample time to prepare for a pre-trial and a trial. I have no words. My family case is complex and we needed an expert witness and other witnesses. All of this was laid out when engaging with Marble. All of this was specifically relayed to the attorney the first week in October. He gave me homework and requests that I completed within a day. I never heard back from him until this past Friday. My case managers keep changing. I don't think they even know how to help me. There are no defined processes for escalation besides "let me have a think" / "I will look into this." I was way too nice in the beginning until I realized that they are NOT doing this for free and they are not my friend. This is a business that I am paying for a service in an area that I cannot drop the ball on. Marble has no oversight on lawyers they "co-counsel" with. This means they find an attorney near you whom they have a weak relationship with and outsource you to him, despite informing you that you will have a case manager and a paralegal in addition to your attorney assigned to your case. Despite my multiple and repeated attempts to reach the attorney, no one at Marble was concerned. I also could not get anyone to pick up the phone. I had to schedule multiple requests online for a new consultation in order to get someone to call me back. This really felt like a scam. If I can save anyone a headache or trouble by not going with them, please listen to me. You do not want to be in my shoes, without representation, on a pre-trial before a judge and an aggressive opposing counsel. They left me out to dry. I have requested my money back. Not once have my concerns been validated but instead, I was provided with "I am going to look into this" only to not hear back from anyone. I had to make several edits before the email was sent. When I asked what was next as my ex had filed a response in court, I was told that I would have to pay more money. When I canceled I expected to pay some of the $2200 that was originally quoted but they are saying that 1 email was worth $1699. The only other option they gave was to "try" to assign me to another lawyer but my confidence was already shot with them. Used marble law for custody case and Chris was assigned. Seemed ok in the beginning but took almost 3 months to start the process with the courts. Recently on april 10th opposing party file documents which needed me to fill out. He sent me documents 3 months later after right before we had to appear in court for these missing documents. Its been over a year and half and still no court date and havent seen my kids in 4 months. He stated he would reach out to opposing parties attorney and see about setting up temp time sharing (which never happened) I ended up leaving for a better attorney. The service is absolutely horrendous and keep away from the service he provides. Marble has refunded partial payment which they sent to a account i closed out and have to wait on a check in the mail vs returning it to the account i paid that service from. Upon asking for a for a detailed billing i was presented with simple complete or incomplete of services i paid for. If I could leave zero stars I would. One of the worst experiences of my life. Impossible to get ahold of, didn't give a crap about my case. My lawyer literally said "I don't need to talk to you or know anything about you to argue a basic child support case". My judge chastised my lawyer for not asking for more money for me. Because my lawyer didn't know what was going on because he refused to have a conversation with me. Barely said a word in court, except to ask for the minimum child support, which the judge immediately shot down as too little money. it was embarrassing. Thankfully I lucked out with the judge because marble tried to screw me over. You'd be better off representing yourself. I had to hassle them to file my paperwork, to serve my ex, to do anything. The Attorney Jennifer Labbe failed to submit evidence I gave her, didn't call the witness, and came 25 minutes late to the hearing. No surprise I got crushed. No one would reimburse me anything. This company is a total scam. I was trying to get a child custody modification in Georgia for a 14 year old. They wanted $3300 up front and told me that this would take care of the 30 day status call and the follow up on mediation. The attorney they appointed was incompetent. Not only did she not ask or answer questions about my case but she never responded to emails or phone calls. After the 30 days status call with the judge she sent me an email that I would have to call Marble to discuss further charges. Marble told me that she would represent me for the mediation but she somehow did not get the memo and refused to reply to me. I asked Marble for a disengagement and total refund. Marble only refunded $1400 which means the attorney for around 2 hours of work was paid $1900. Cynthia Hawes was the attorney and she should be disbarred for her incompetence, and hopefully the insurance commissioner of Georgia will ban Marble from practicing in this state. read more

These people are coming off as con artists and scammers. On Friday I set an appointment for a 20 minute "strategy session" with an attorney for Tuesday. I changed my mind for now, canceled the session, and saw on the portal that the session was canceled and approved for a refund.  I kept getting reminders for tomorrow's appointment despite the fact that I canceled and screenshot the message. I called to ensure A. The session was canceled B. That I would get my refund.  They conveniently kept trying to stall, repeating the same points, transferring me, then putting me on hold, and finally hung up on me. I have not received an email confirming my cancellation, as advised on the 800 number. They are scam artists. STAY AWAY.  I will definitely now not go with them moving forward, and will be filing complaints with BBB and others, along with contesting the charge with my bank. read more

I was under the impression that marble law was a firm who had their own associates/lawyers/attorneys not that they picked low level attorneys from out of a hat. I had an initial consultation that went very nicely with a marble law rep.... Then I had another consultation with who would be my attorney and I had to repeat everything I had already told them and that they had "written down to pass to the attorney that would handle my case" ... that attorney made me repeat myself so many times and asked me the same questions everytime we spoke as if it was the first time we were communicating so I decided to email only. I'm currently having a terrible experience!! On short notice, they've decided to reassign my case to a different attorney because the one they assigned to me was horrible! and it appears that they had decided to part ways with him. They emailed me an agreement form to sign for a new attorney by the time I was able to check my email it had expired. I reached out to them for almost a month to get a new link sent to me or to speak with someone regarding moving forward. Despite my attempt to speak with an attorney who could advise me about my case. I was only able to speak to a personnel from their customer support team (every time I got to someone they would tell me that I should receive a call within 1 to 3 days and I never got one). To make matters worse! I got an email notifying me that they are unable to find an attorney to take my case to finalize the two service I paid for and that I should seek legal counsel elsewhere!! After learning this, I got frustrated and sent them a text asking for my money back or for the service to be completed which is when they started to send me an automated text Stating " you have no outstanding agreements" my marriage is still not dissolve. I even called their support team who confirmed that both the services I paid for was marked as incomplete. Now they are basically telling me to go away and get help somewhere else. I'm hoping this issue will be resolved as I'm already in a terrible situation going through a divorce. I now I have to deal with Marble Law basically scamming me out of the service they agreed to provide after taking my hard earn money. After multiple phone calls and emails she sent me a fake affadvit that i reported to the Texas Bar. Currently Jasmine Thompson and Julie Gray from Marble are under investigation. (I will be more than happy to post the letters) When I requested my money back I was blocked from calling into the Marble customer service line so I read our contract, contact the Jams Arbitration and behold I got my money back. Well, that's why I hired a lawyer to explain my case to me. She intentionally did not file the response to the court and now I am dealing with the fall out and having to take off several days from work to deal with this mess. She did this willfully and maliciously. When I tried to reach out to my case manager, Austin Aguon, and all he does is ignore me. I have never spoken to my case manager and I have reached out several times. Worse, good luck trying to contact Marble. Try finding a useful working number for them. I feel like this is all a scam. I am having the exact same problem that everyone else seems to have here. If you're a potential customer, then your emails and texts/calls will get answered right away. After you pay though, you will get ignored. The person in charge of my case even went as far as to suggest that I did something that would completely go against my case and help my opponent... I have never experienced something so unprofessional... Seriously, if you have the money, go somewhere else. This place does not care about you. ------UPDATE AS OF 9/18/22------ I was contacted by Kenya (as most of us here do), but she was still not easy to speak to, I would leave voice and text messages to her. When she did eventually get to call me, I got the usual apologies and that discount that everyone else here is getting. But guess what? The main problem persisted, my lawyer Nicole was still avoiding me and Nicole was still suggesting that I took out financial responsibilities from my official statement due to the nature of them getting paid. I asked for a new attorney and they said that they would get on it. Two weeks go by, radio silence. I kept calling them and texting them over and over. Kenya here would tell me "Oh don't worry. Nicole will be reaching out to you today!" This happened about three different times until I received an email stating "Marble PC and LSP have represented you pursuant to a Marble Agreement you signed on 7/13/2022. Unfortunately, the difficulties we have experienced in communicating with you have, and this has led us to conclude that we can no longer represent you. This email confirms that we have decided to terminate further representation of you in connection with the Family Law related matter described in the Marble Agreement. Therefore, effective as of today's date, we are withdrawing as legal counsel in connection with all matters, and our attorney-client relationship has ended." These "difficulties" were entirely made by this firm's inability and/or unwillingness to simply call me and talk to me. I had to chase them so hard and I never got a callback. Seriously, 1 star is too high for this place. I thought to myself that perhaps Nicole here was simply sexist and that she did not really want to help out a man in his case for custody and child support. But it turns out, according to most reviews for this place, that Marble is an equal incompetence service that will ignore their clients after taking their money.
