The tasting room was surprisingly quite for a Saturday afternoon and we were the only guests. They have a great space with room 8-10 large round tables and gorgeous outdoor patio area that could probably fit the same. We immediately agreed this would be a great spot to host a small party, shower, or charity event. We were greeted by a local student working on site for her internship. For $6 guests may sample 5 wines and you get to keep the cute sampling glass. Expect a generous pour and modest selection that should appeal to most pallets. It's a small winery so some products will be out of stock or not included in the tasting, but that's common for any small business. Overall the host was great, we enjoyed most of wines, the atmosphere was pleasant, and my wife and I were pleasantly surprised. We left with bottles of the Seyval Blanc and Blueberry (my wife loves dessert wines). The selection does change periodically so my wife and I agreed that we will definitely return to sample again later this Fall.

This is the most amazing wine store I have ever been too. Self declared as having no bad wines. A…read moremiracle! This is a place where I spend at least a couple hundred bucks a month (used to), albeit mainly on common table wine. But last week I thought I would splurge for my birthday and asked for something upscale, but reliable in that they had confidence in the quality of the supply chain. I ended up buying an $80 Petite Syrah which was near vinegar. Being a regular, I felt like I had to say something, not to mention having lived outside the Rhône region in France, where I experienced real Syrahs for several a years. When I told them this was not a debate about the quality of the wine, but rather that it was simply bad, I was told that all of their wines are good because they have other customers that like them. To quote: "All of their wines are on the shelf because someone likes them", therefore no bad wines, just differing palates. How convenient. I wouldn't even think of debating subtleties in N Andover, but when something is so bad that is undrinkable at $80/bottle, only an utter moron would keep quiet. BTW, this experience was all after providing the respect of temperature acclimation and decanting. So long story short, they have decent prices for table wines, but it you are looking for something upscale, don't waste your money. And whatever you do, don't be bamboozled by their pseudo sommeliers.

I've learned a lot about wines just by attending these tastings and I have found some new favorites along the way. I always buy wines as a result...Speaking of which, their prices and selection cannot be beat!

Think of this not as a winery as you would in the California style. It's a liqueur tasting that enhances the finer agriculture of Vermont. Ginger liqueur is wonderful- sweet with strong flavors and I already knew it would make wonderful mixed drinks. The chocolate liqueur was delicious as was the apple maple wine. All sweet so go with the perspective of how to enrich a wine based cocktail or a champagne cocktail. If you're a dessert wine lover it's definitely for you. We ended up buying ginger and apple maple. Go try out the tasting and decide for yourself!

Kim walked us through each sip and went further in recommending a stellar restaurant in nearby Brattleboro. Kim was so friendly and kind to all five of us, even though she was in the midst of a tasting with another group. This didn't effect the attention she showed us in the slightest. We will be ordering their cranberry wine two months from due to how lovely the experience and the taste was. If you're in the area and would like a variety of dry to sweet fruit wines and liqueurs, please stop by and tell Kim hello for us!
