Wow wow wow! I have totally found my favorite winery in the area... I mean the place is just gorgeous and I didn't know it even existed until I opened YELP and looked for wineries in the area and this bad boy came up. The food, wine and winery itself is amazing! I was encouraged by the great yelp reviews, but my experience at Zorvino wasn't great. I tried 4 wines in a $15 flight and liked only 1 (the sparkling red called Black Magic), so I purchased 2 bottles of that and called it a day. I've done many wine tastings across the US (and in Spain) and found that the knowledge and hospitality of the person pouring can make a big difference in the experience. Maybe it's because we were there on a weekday afternoon, and not taking a full tour, but it just felt no one was trying to sell this wine. I was literally here two months ago, and I'm back again! The service here is amazing, we had Alli who made sure to bring out a pumpkin cheesecake with a candle for our friends birthday! She was so good about making sure to note which items were gluten free too. I love how the menu always changes per the season. This time we got the fall wine flight, my favorite was the maplez wine. I really enjoy going to Zorvino for lunch with a friend. You can order a bottle of wine and serve yourself in their cups and the menu changes not only seasonally but also frequently (the staff pick is usually delicious) . I came here with a few friends on a Friday in the summer. We had an AMAZING experience. Our waitress (Bonnie) was so friendly and gave us a great rundown of the menu. The ambiance was unbeatable - a view of the vineyards and some alpacas in the distance! A few of us tried the Z Wine Labs flight and it was fantastic. I made reservations for Zorvino a few days ago for 11am. When we walked in, we didn't see any employees but after waiting for a few minutes we were greeted and told where our designated table is. Zorvino has completely changed their process due to COVID. There are tables appropriately spaced throughout the winery where you can sit and eat. You can now choose 4 different wines for a flight. They offer cheese, crackers, chips, dips as well as other snacks if you feel a hunger pain coming on. All of the wines were great! The chocolate peanut butter wine especially. You taste peanut butter first, then chocolate on the palate after finishing the sip. Only one flight is allowed per person sadly, but they do offer some hard spritzers as well that you can have during your time there. I ended up buying 2 bottles of chocolate peanut butter, 1 bottle of peanut butter and jelly (which is amazing as well, a red wine but on the sweeter side) and the mango magnifico. read more

This place is very scenic especially if you can take advantage of the outdoor area. They offer a daily tasting menu for $5 dollars. Their portfolio of wine ranges from traditional wines, blended fruit and grape wines, and fruit wines. Some of which are very interesting although not traditional if you are a wine snob. 5 stars for the super delicious and fun wines. My boyfriend and I had such a blast here on a drizzly Friday. I had the fruity wine flight which included wines made from peaches, a maple syrup one, etc etc. my boyfriend had the Z Wine Lab wine which included a few other funky ones (including a hibiscus one which was SO GOOD). We both ended up getting a bottle to take home. He found a pb&j wine that ended up being one of my favorites. Honestly, I'm not the biggest wine drinker but I loved more than 90% of the wines I had here. One small issue that came up during our stay was about the service. Our main server told us that we could stay as long as we wanted and order more drinks since she had no tables coming in anytime soon . And then 10 minutes later, a different server rudely told my boyfriend that we had to leave while I was in the bathroom. Really great place to visit! We came here with a Groupon for the wine tasting and tour. The wine tasting included 9 generous pours, and most of the wine was on the sweet side (it included a lot of fruit wines). The tour was great- there are a lot of manual steps, as Zorvino is a pretty small manufacturer, and I got to participate in one of them! Afterwards, we did a picnic on the grounds (they're fine with outside food, and even encourage it as long as any alcohol is theirs). read more

Let me start by saying that we love Zorvino's wines... we have gone more times than I can count... we buy our friends and family gift cards to this place BUT lately the last two visits have been VERY disappointing. Yesterday, we had reservations for the patio for lunch. When we got there it took a hostess over ten minutes to acknowledge us. Then another 20 minutes to take our order once we were sat down. We waited patiently... but no one seemed to care after asking if we should go get our own tasting flights... we waited until we got very aggravated... and asked the staff about our order, we decided to leave once she had an attitude... not even water was brought out to us... the staff was rude and didn't even care... My question to the management is why do take reservations if they don't have the staff to attend their consumers??? Call to cancel reservations if you can't meet the demand. We have spent hundreds of dollars over the past 5 years... whether it's us buying boxes of wines or gifting them... and to be treated so poorly twice is TERRIBLE!! I feel like the food service is hurting the wine business... they need to fix that... we are 50 minutes away...and to make the effort to get there and get poor treatment is disrespectful to their loyal customers... AGAIN... we love their wines, I just hope they work on the staff's attitudes and food service. read more

November 2015. Was here last night with a group of friends for the Wine and Beer event and was very impressed. The night started off with brewers handing out beers that they have made along with appetizers on the side. The wine tasting was downstairs and was very pleased. I tried the strawberry wine and blackberry and will buy those for sure! The meals then came out along with beer and wine pairings. The first dish was butternut squash soup with a butternut squash chip and pumpkin seeds on top. The second dish was lamb lollipops with a delicious pesto sauce. The third dish was outstanding. Pork tenderloin with an au jus sauce along with asparagus. And finally the pumping cheesecake with an apple outer shell and chunks of apple inside with vanilla bean ice cream on the side. I have been to Zorvinos twice now, once on the patio area and once for a wedding. If I was rating the food and drinks I would give it 5 stars! The food, drinks, and even overall venue is amazing! The major issue I had was the customer service, especially someone I believe was the manager, a heavier set not so gentleman type. He seemed rather rude when I saw him interacting with some customers and especially with his staff. Both times I've been there I've heard/seen him berate some of the nice young women that worked there for things that weren't there fault(for what I saw). As someone who has been in the industry for almost two decades, I find it appalling when I see toxic management like that. It is really Zorvinos down fall from my opinion. read more

The service was horrible when we went today. We sat down and I had to flag the waitress down after 15 mins of waiting. When we flagged her down we stated we were starting with an app. We got our apps and ate. We waited over 30 mins for the server to come back and she asked what else we needed and we said we wanted to order sandwiches. It was 4:01. She said the kitchen closed at 4 and laughed and said she should have told us and said "my bad". It was incredibly frustrating and I thought it was super unprofessional. I will not be coming back. What a great find! We hadn't checked out local vineyards in a while and found Zorvino. Went for lunch on a Tuesday. Very nice patio area for outdoor dining. All have market umbrellas. Nice, well-maintained grounds. Had the California bean/avocado bowl and the "Italian Dream" chicken salad sandwich. Both were very good. Also had the flight of red wines to share. Good portion for each of the four wines. However, you can't create your own flight by mixing reds and whites...you have to stay with their selections for each of the four different flights. Staff was very pleasant, helpful and attentive. Ended up buying three reds, one white and one peach in the shop, along with two dipping oils (big bottles for the $15 price). Wines were $13-$15 and one reserve red was $20. We were able to sample them in the shop as long as they were already opened (for flights, etc). Very reasonable prices. They have alpacas there too. Definitely enjoyed our visit and will be going back. read more

We went here for a local fundraiser event (Library) and were impressed at the grounds. The post & beam Hall was just wonderful. I can see why so many weddings are held here. The wine and bar was good, bartenders quick, however a tad expensive. The food, much like others have mentioned, left much to be desired. Pasta cold, mushy, and overcooked. Even the coffee was stone cold. A lovely event overall now if they can just get a cook to step it up. read more
