He had some frozen bacon wrapped steaks all of different thicknesses. The man behind the counter was kind enough to put together three of similar thickness, so I took those. Most real butcher shops have enough beef filets to cut the steaks a customer wants. The meat looks like good quality, but don't come here expecting a butcher shop or a butcher.

In recent years we've opted for turkey stuffed turkey breast instead of the whole bird because the smallest one was 15+ lbs! The quality of meats here is always remarkable. The staff who have been working here for years are always friendly, knowledgeable, and work around this shop like a well oiled machine. In pre-pandemic times, they would offer a free Christmas dinner in a cup where you could add everything including cranberry sauce and gravy and enjoy it while you wait for your order to come out. My suggestion is to order well in advance to get on the list. They are doing drive through/car pick ups right now as well.

There were several prepared items you could buy: salads, samosa, pakora, beef patties, sausage rolls, chicken cutlets, baked potatoes, etc. There was nothing vegan and gf for me but hubby got beef patties, sausage rolls and chicken fingers (smaller version of cutlets). He heated them at home and both he and my son enjoyed them all. They even sold Cadbury Flake chocolate bars from England so of course that was purchased and enjoyed as well.
