Despite my pleading he "fired me as a patient" by having a lawyer at the follow up appointment because I made a review he said I "ruined his trust" because I told people what was going on!! Not only that my left nostril collapsed and I have big indents from his hammer during surgery!!! I finally have the actual pictures and evidence to prove Sinha is not competent!!! He caused me so much pain and I can't even look at myself in the mirror. I paid this quack 20,000$ and he took 6 figures from my insurance for the Septoplasty that he mutilated me with!! He charged my insurance hundreds every month for two years when he did nothing for me to find the problem or admit he is a failure!! I've never been taken back later than 10 minutes past my appointment time and I've always left less than 30 minutes after being taken back. I have no experience with Dr. Weisman, as the other reviewers do, but if you are looking for a dermatologist in Atlanta, I would recommend Dr. Weisman's PA Lisa instead. Many thoughts so I will summarize:…read more PRIMARILY: DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE!!! The doctors may be good but everything else is a train wreck. At the suggestion of the doctor's surgical coordinator I changed my health insurance, not an easy process, to allow "In Network" care. After a few visits preparing for Cataract surgery I was told I needed a referral from a PCP. Yes, that is common but I discussed with the same surgical coordinator and then it became an issue. More exams...eye measurements, pre op, paperwork, upgraded laser payment, etc...and I had a PCP provide a referral. The original surgery date had been rescheduled due to the insurance issue partly to blame on the surgical coordinator. After confirming a final appointment with the practice prior to surgery the surgical coordinator informed me by phone, the day before, that all that was necessary was to resign the paperwork. On the day of the appointment I arrived at the designated appointment time, checked in, and waited to be called. Thirty five minutes later I asked the front desk the status. At that point they physically took my chart to "the back" to see what was happening. Another ten minutes passed and I asked again as to the status of my appointment to sign papers. A tech arrived and the first words were "Can we reschedule for four days in the future". The surgery was scheduled for nine days from the that day. I informed her that I would be out of town until the day before surgery. I asked to speak to the Practice Manager. I was summoned to her office and asked her what was happening with my appointment. She stated she did not know. I asked how she could not know after four staff members had been involved. She had no explanation. I CANNOT trust my vision to a doctor's practice that does "NOT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING". Concerned, I immediately asked to cancel the procedure after five visits requiring approximately four hours of my in office time not to mention commute time, insurance time, and waiting time. When I requested a refund of the $2100.00 that I prepaid for the upgraded laser for the procedure. The Practice Manager stated it was not available. I left the office. When I reached my vehicle the surgical coordinator called and asked for me to return. The surgical coordinator claimed the issue that day was due to insurance. Everything was in order per the phone call surgical coordinator the prior day explicitly confirming all insurance was filed, confirming coverage, and stated that signing updated information was all that was needed. I informed the surgical coordinator that I cannot trust the doctor's practice given the MANY issues. Procedure cancelled. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE!!!

The in between: The doctor I first saw came in chomping gum. He also seemed a little absent minded but overall, he was ok. The bad: I had a procedure to get rid of a kidney stone scheduled (for today actually). They called me the day before and left me a message saying that they had canceled my procedure (which was supposed to be at Northside) because my insurance was invalid. The problem is, my insurance isn't invalid. I had to get Cobra and Cigna is so slow updating their stuff so that if you call Cigna, yes, they do say it was invalid because as they put it, my info is only correct in one of their systems and not in the other 2 (why do they have 3 systems anyway?!?!?!). However, I had told the staff previously what the deal was and they had called the Cobra people and everything was squared away and they knew my insurance was valid. My question is how can an office that is not that big eff this up? I saw computers in there. Shouldn't there have been a note somewhere on a computer or in my file or something saying "Call the Cobra people for insurance verification". Don't just cancel a procedure without talking to me first. I mean seriously, wtf is that about? so now because of their asshattery and ineptitude and bad technology, I am going to have to reschedule my procedure which throws a GIANT wrench in my schedule at my new job and causes me a huge inconvenience because they will probably make me go to the hospital AGAIN for another 2.5 hours to do all the pre op admissions crap again which will cause me MORE time away from my new job and I'm just really, really ANGRY. I put it off for 3 or 4 years, because everyone I asked about it advised me not to do it. After having the worst nosebleed (it took an hour to control), and 2 days of nasal packing, I knew I needed something to change. Dr. Joshua Downie assured me that while all surgeries have risks, a septoplasty and turbinate reduction would help. I had my surgery 2 weeks before Christmas 2015. My recovery period was not that bad. For the first week, it's important to take all of your meds and rinse your sinuses ON TIME! The antibiotics, pain meds and steriods do a number on your tummy. But lots of soup, smoothies, jello, pudding and Icees will keep you full. Keep plenty of lip balm. A light swab of mineral oil and your saline solution every hour or so will keep your nose moist. After day 3, I could tell the immediate difference. It's been almost 10 months, and I haven't had an upper respiratory infection or sinus infection. I still have a runny nose associated with my allergies, but an occasional neti pot rinse and Zyrtec do the trick every time. Dr. Downie is young, efficient, and knows what he's doing. You will love him and won't regret any treatment he recommends.

As the years pass I feel it gets worse. I don't know why I've waited to so long to post a review but I hope this review stops someone from making the biggest mistake of their life! My first rhinoplasty was 2013 second 2016 It is so difficult to find a doctor that does revisions and it's also 3x more expensive then a primary case. Don't risk your chances with this doctor.
