From our initial phone call, I could tell that she is a very good agent. She listens attentively and you can tell your preferences are heard. During showings, Karen is punctual and communicative with her whereabouts. That exactly matches my style! Frankly, Karen is one of the few professionals who I have dealt with who is so similar to myself. I really couldn't have found a better match! You can tell she knows how to plan and plans showings very well. (I personally love to plan things, so I can easily tell someone who actually knows how to plan for things.) What I like Karen the most is how serious she is about covid precautions. I am someone who takes covid very seriously, and Karen is probably the only person I have met outside of my own family members who take just as seriously as I am. I am talking about wearing a quality mask, gloves, hand sanitizer, etc. There was one house we saw that asked for shoe covers, Karen just opened up her trunk and had spare shoe covers for us. At another house, someone didn't have the mask properly covered the nose and Karen wasted no time telling the person to mask up. I am really impressed with that! You can tell Karen is very knowledgeable about the local housing market and someone who specializes in new construction. She seems to know many other agents in the area. She also had personal recommendations for buyer attorney, inspection, plumbers, etc! Even during the closing process, she would send us updates and check-ins. She was clearly on top of everything. While I was assigned to Karen through an official university referral program, I couldn't be happier with this match. The university assigned me another agent as well, but Karen was simply better. I've talked to other real estate agents through friends and family here and there before, but immediately could tell Karen would be different. I can confidently say that Karen is the best real estate agent I have worked with.
