If I could leave a 0 star I would but I had to put 1 to be able to write a review...so basically if you want someone who is going to cut corners, act like he is giving you a huge discount, blame the Home owner for any and all mistakes Made by his employees and himself that cost the homeowner more money to fix (ie cutting electrical Wires and internet wires and then blaming the home owner for not telling them where the wires were located), who is demeaning to women, and who will then harass you for payment when the job is finished and the job site is completed yes but is left trashed...so by all Means I would def vote this place as Jax #1 worst pavers Also just Incase you have any issues ( we live near an ICE agent ) he does use illegals who speak no English. read more

Marcelo and team do an awesome job. When I look at the reviews I see a lot of 5 stars, and some 1 stars. I honestly think the one star people must never be happy, these guys do an awesome job. They say what they are going to do, and then they do what they said they would. So the one star people must be unhappy people that you can never please. This was out third large project and awesome work once again. A nice team that works hard and enjoys their work!! I don't have much more property that I could paver, so not sure how much more I could the advantage of their excellent service and value. Thus job was doubling the size of my back patio. Don't waste your time with any other company - Marcelo Pavers is the best around! My hypervigilant, supremely detail-oriented, extremely picky husband has raved about the paver work that Marcelo Pavers completed for us. We received quotes from multiple companies for this 700sq.ft.+ project. Marcelo came in cheaper by a couple thousand(!) dollars. One company took a week to return their quote & Marcelo pavers had a quote for us by the end of the free consult. One company wanted to tack on additional charges for seemingly everything (screenwork, irrigation system changes, rounding the edges of the patio, etc.). Marcelo Pavers did not try to "nickel & dime" us. Thanks to that, they earned our business! There is a showroom off of Philips Hwy where they installed the various paver options & Marcelo Pavers' work can be seen there. Marcelo Pavers is insured & bonded (I asked). Once we hired them they ordered the pavers & within a few days our pavers were delivered to our house. Two days later the crew began installing the pavers & were done the same day! This crew was quick, professional, & quiet. In other words, they were respectful of our neighbors & the neighborhood. The supervising persons showed interest in the work being done & made sure that everything was being done correctly. We were able to switch pavers around as desired. We needed our screens & screen door to be lifted, cut, & reinstalled, which they did flawlessly. We needed a couple sprinkler heads shifted and capped - They did it at no additional charge. They kept their working area very clean & neat (as possible). Once everything was completed we were beyond thrilled. Two days later we decided that we wanted the pavers to be sealed. They were able to come over the same day & used a professional grade sealant that kept the pavers their same color, but with a sparkle finish. Now we have a gorgeous paved area & are VERY happy that we chose to use Marcelo Pavers. -------- Update: We loved our backyard pavers so much that we asked them to come back for our front yard! Again, our estimate was provided the day of the consult, & the pavers were installed the day after they were delivered. Even though it was probably one of the hottest days of the year, our project was completed in one day. This project involved cutting the pavers to leave room for our trees, irrigation work (bubblers & heads), adding a retaining wall & stepping the pavers up to cover the porch(?) seating area. Lovely work & we have received numerous compliments from people in our neighborhood! We've even had strangers who are driving by stop to compliment the pavers. I was referred to Marcelo pavers by a friend and he seemed nice when he took the job! However, I discovered that the job he finished had nothing but issues and when I reached out to him for repairs, he demanded more money for the repairs when he should be responsible for it. Since he installed it, I figured that he knows what should be done. I paid him hundreds to get it right and he never returned to fix his mess. He ran away with the money and I had to pay another company to fix his horrible job! He don't stand by his work or his word! Totally a big headache!!! I WILL NEVER USE HIM OR REFFER HIM AGAIN!!! read more

Marcelo did a patio for us and widened our driveway. The work quality is excellent and very affordable. They did leave the yard by the driveway torn up for a few days, but the minor inconvenience was well worth the final product. I recommend them and would definitely use them again. read more

Very unprofessional. They did charge less than the other contract but we ended up paying more over the time. Had to hire other contractors to finish on the mess done by him. Our backyard broke just within 1 year and they charged us money to fix it again. Job badly done and the owner seemed to had lack of etiquette. Hope they improve their work ethics. read more

We recently had a patio installed by Marcelo Pavers with wonderful results. Our first reason for going with Marcelo was the price. They offered an estimate that was $400 - $500 less than our other estimates for the exact same job. There is a showroom at Tremrom Pavers off of Phillips highway with all available pavers set into the floor as you walk in. These are the pavers that Marcelo uses and Marcelo Pavers was also the company that layed the pavers in the store so you can get a good idea of their quality of work here as well. We chose our pavers on Monday and the patio was finished before dark the following day. It looks great and they even used the extra pavers to form a beautiful border to my garden (after asking first of course.) read more

We contracted Marcelo Pavers (Contract signed 11/10/2013 - Job "Completed" 3/6/2014) to install a large patio, retaining wall and fire pit in our backyard. The retaining wall within 1 year started to lean and separate from the patio. It is separated from the patio approximately 6-8 inches and the wall is bowing in the middle a substantial amount beyond reasonable standards. This is not normal wear and tear for a wall that was built two years ago and the wall will eventually fall if not repaired. Initially when we hired them, we had issues getting a hold of them, scheduling them to start and complete the job, and completing the job in accordance to what was agreed upon in the contract. They would show up unannounced and let themselves onto our property without our permission and would not clean up after themselves when they were done working for the day. We spent over $17,000 dollars with Marcelo Pavers to have a patio that was built correctly and safely. They did not use the material specified within the contract nor did they build the retaining wall to ensure it would not fall. They did not have enough knowledge or expertise to complete a job of this magnitude and they took our money when they knew they were incapable of completing it correctly. We have had other contractors out to our home to receive estimates on what it would cost to fix Marcelo Pavers mistake. We have received estimates as high as $17,000 to repair this wall. We would not let Marcelo Pavers try to fix this even if they offered to because they do not have the knowledge or ability to repair what they have so haphazardly "installed" in our backyard. We have no other choice but to spend money to have another company fix this as it is a safety issue. We want to make sure they cannot do this to other customers. read more
