It was like having the store to ourselves. The garden department had lovely flowers and all the landscaping supplies we needed. The fixtures department gave us terrific choices for our bathroom and kitchen faucets. We found great brand choices. We easily found the mold-resistant sheet rock we wanted, despite the layout of this store being a bit different from our home base. For this trip, rather than using a standard shopping cart, we used one of the flat carts. When it began to overflow, we found a family of them parked in row closely nearby. It was so easy! We were approached by two different associates offering help, which was appreciated. When we checked out, the employee at the register was friendly and engaging. I'm glad we found this location!

Doug, Brandi and Matt, the main managers are always busy stocking, helping customers or working on the registers doing whatever needs to be done to keep things running smoothly as well as the other manages and helpers that are employed there. They have a great team and that why its a great place to shop or just browse while the wife is shopping elsewhere! I waited 6 weeks to receive my stove then waited for them to look at it then order the part then finally put it in. this is the fourth time they have been here for the same issue. now three of the four elements are out. again according to the repair man caused by bugs.

Brendan has been upfront on his preferences and opinions on products when asked and carries products he knows that will last or can be easily fixed if something goes wrong. He actually beat Lowe's/Home Depot pricing during one of their big sales and their in-stock items weren't quite as nice as what I ended up with from Shay's. Delivery has been prompt (dishwasher was at the house less than 3 hours after purchase) and professional. When a part on my new range was missing after installation they ordered a replacement and got it to me quickly without any hassle. Although I always prefer to support a local business, my experience has been that Shay's offers a better product, with better support, at the same (or sometimes even better) price.
