C &T has been one of my go to Asian grocery stores for a while. They carry a large variety of imported produce and the selection is always fresh. When I'm the fresh produce isle you can find a variety of everything ! With selection on pairs, oranges herbs and so much more, you are bound to find what you need here. They also have a fresh meat/poultry and fish section where you can get live fish, different cuts of meat with competitive pricing by the pound. The service and employee at Marche C&T store is really bad. My wife and I arrived at the store half an hour before the store's closing time. We didn't finish our selection at 8pm (the closing time) but almost at the end. However, there was one employee very rushed push us to leave, we just have one or two item need to select. She didn't want to help but only spoke loudly to us just the store need to be closed, but based on my experience no store in Canada push customer to leave as long as customer step into the store before the closing time. My wife is pregnant, she couldn't move fast and felt sad and angry about this thing. There is no respect from the the employee at this store. Please avoid this store. Marché C & T is an Asian supermarket with a variety of grocery food items, fresh fruits/vegetables, and Asian snack items that you won't find in grocery stores in the province of Quebec (or in Canada or North America for that matter). The prices are somewhat comparable to the big grocery store chains in the province of Quebec. I don't come here that often but will often stop by here after having dim sum at Tong Por restaurant which is in the same parking mall as this grocery store. Parking is somewhat scarce at this parking mall. Generally when I come here, I will just purchase some Chinese/Asian snacks (shrimp or crab flavoured chips, wasabi peas, roasted/dry broad bean snacks, etc.) or some of those dry ramen flavoured noodles not found in the big chain Quebec grocery stores. I will also often purchase their pre-made items for my dinner (salt & pepper whole shrimps, General Tao chicken, or salt & pepper fish). The place is generally very crowded and in winter months (I went there during the winter), the place is cold throughout the entire store. It was around -15C outside and inside I'm not sure what the temperature was but I needed to keep my winter hat on and didn't need to unbutton my winter jacket as it was definitely not "comfortable" room temperature. One other thing to keep in mind is that if you plan on shopping for a lot of items and will require one of the standard metal shopping carts, you will need a loonie since the shopping carts are "self-check" (or whatever you call it when they are locked together with a chain and need a loonie to release the chain). If you are shopping for only a few items, they have free small plastic shopping container on wheels that you can use. They accept the standard credit cards (Mastercard & Visa). read more

Marche C&T has become my go to Asian supermarket now. I used to be a devoted supporter of Marche Hawaii however I've converted over to this location. Reason being? The price and selection just seems a notch above MH. You can find everything here. Produce wise selection is excellent, they have a full butcher counter with all the Asian cuts of meat that you cannot find at Maxi, Super C, Metro or IGA. Also there is a seafood shop with all varieties of imported Asian fish, shellfish that most non Asian people (including my wife) find unappetizing. I was able to pick up my fave milk tea a $1 cheaper than the usual places. Also was able to find golden mountain sauce (Thai sauce) which can be difficult to find. ***Beware the parking lot in front is crazy small and never has parking. ***Pro tip Circle around the building and there is parking in the back adjacent to the back lane (ruelle) on the side of the building. Always good parking and easy entrance and exit access. A bit of a walk but much more tolerable for those non patient parking individuals. This place overall is 3.5 stars for me as they always have a lack of baskets on the weekend. Plus the fact that many times it can lack cashiers and long lines I'll knock it down to a 3 rounded down for me. Some go up some go down. read more

Love going there. Although it's far from my home, this place is worth it. Produce is fresh and the place is very clean. There is so much to look at and choose from it gets confusing. It's like stepping into another part of the world. There is so much to discover. I love my chrysanthemum tea and it's so hard to find but they have it. I don't interact much with the staff but we asked for sesame oil once and they guided us to the right aisle. I've been trying Korean recipes and could not have been able to without this place. As a caterer, this place is where I go to get AMAZING prices on fresh produce and meat. Sure, it's a bit of a drive (about 20 minutes) but it's way cheaper than using a meat or veg supplier. I've been to a ton of Asian markets in Montreal - this one is my favourite. It's huge, it's got everything and the fish market area is stunningly interesting. The best asian grocery north of Montreal. The place is clean and the variety is great especially in the fresh produce aisle. The price of the fruits, vegetables and meats are really great. I particularly like to buy the 1$ package of overripe fruit and make fruit salad out of it. I wish more where available. They also sell bones and scraps for soup. The packaged goods like ramen bowl, noodles, canned goods and condiment have great variety including Mexican and other non asian brands. But the prices are standard. My only concern is that often the place is over crowded. The parking is full, you have to hunt for a shopping cart and the wait at the cash register is a pain. I think this is a pretty solid option in terms of Asian grocery stores. The location seems to cover a wide range of products from numerous countries, and I noticed some very competitive pricing on certain produce items (limes, for instance) that I mentally noted (damn, I wish I had bought those limes and not paid double at Metro the next day). Picked up some of the Japanese green tea Kit Kats and canned Thai iced tea, browsed most of the aisles and will be sure to stop by the next time I dine at Tong-Por. Parking is not easy at peak times, so try to avoid them. read more
