Ms Javita is amazing. She is on top of everything. I am sad I didn't switch earlier. Can't say enough good things about this pharmacy.

Nearly every…read moreMinuteClinic location advertises a 4.5-5 star rating on CVS.com, backed by conveniently anonymous reviews. The same locations sit at 1-2 stars on Yelp, with a long list of real, identifiable complaints about customer service, billing, and clinic cleanliness. I can validate the Yelp reviews, given a recent personal experience. - CVS review: https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/clinic-locator/tx/deerpark/3699.html - Yelp review: https://www.yelp.com/biz/cvs-pharmacy-deer-park?osq=Drugstores On July 25, 2026, I visited the MinuteClinic inside the CVS in Deer Park, Texas. I was asked to provide a urine sample. When I entered the restroom, it was immediately clear someone there had suffered a medical emergency: the walls, floor, and toilet were covered in human waste. Given the ongoing cyclosporiasis outbreak, I was seriously concerned about the health risk this posed to patients and staff, and I reported it right away to the clinical staff and to the doctor on duty. The doctor on duty, Marina Rivera, responded: "that isn't my problem." Horrified, I left without further delay and did not receive any care. Despite never being seen, my card was charged for the visit. What followed was weeks of contradictory answers from CVS and MinuteClinic representatives, none of whom could (or would) resolve it: * "You should see the charge drop from your card in 3-5 business days." - Cassandra, MinuteClinic customer service 7/27 * "Call the MinuteClinic directly for a refund." - Emily, CVS customer service 7/30 * "You need to call MinuteClinic patient services."- Selena, CVS customer service 7/30 * "You need to speak with MinuteClinic billing."- Devon, MinuteClinic customer service 8/4 * 2 hours bounced around on the phone with MinuteClinic billing 8/6 * "This is not the correct number." - Kristen, CVS Customer service (on the very number she'd just given me) 8/11 * "File a claim with MinuteClinic." - Max, MinuteClinic customer service 8/12 * "We do not see your visit in our records." - Max, MinuteClinic customer service 8/12 * "We have no record of you at all." - Max, MinuteClinic customer service 8/12 * "The billing record is from a year ago." - Anna, MinuteClinic customer service 8/12 (referring to a charge clearly dated 7/25/26) * Reported as fraud and immediately refunded. - Credit card service - 8/12 I don't know whether CVS is actively recruiting the worst possible staff or simply no longer cares about patient services or reputation. Either way: unsanitary conditions, a doctor who refuses to acknowledge a health hazard, and a billing department that can't locate its own records is not an isolated bad day - it's a shame that communities are subjected to such disgraceful conditions. I've reported this incident, with names, photos, and video, to the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Texas Medical Board, and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (though we all know that will likely result in pats on the back for the incompetent).

They genuinely understand the importance of building strong relationships with their patients and genuinely show concern for their well-being. For example when they learned about my fiancés injury, they proactively tracked and followed up with her doctor to ensure that she received the necessary prescriptions to help her to manage her injury and assist in expediting her recovery. On one occasion they personally ensured she received her medications as quickly as possible by personally delivering her medication as expeditiously as possible. Simply put, their professionalism and level of care is top notch. If you are looking for a pharmacy that treats you like family, consistently goes above and beyond, and genuinely cares about your well-being, I highly recommend Pillcraft Pharmacy.

When it comes down to hard to fill medication and insurance issues this place has been extremely helpful at getting my meds filled. I called to check up on my prescription and he said he was going to call the insurance company for me. I called back a short time later and next thing I know I received a text message from the pharmacist. Communicating through text like that was super convenient. Also, you can't beat their delivery service. Oh yeah, they even tossed in a PillCraft pharmacy sticker!! Who doesn't love getting stickers. I thought that was a clever touch to the business. I will be referring all my friends and family to this pharmacy from now on.
